With all transparency: this bagel spot is my top 5. I've tried a lot of bagel spots. I went to college in Davis and I'm currently living in the Bay Area, and I always crave Blazin' Bagels! The bagels I typically always order Blazin' Turkey or the Morning Star. It's always so good and I'm still struggling to find a bagel spot similar to this. The staff is always so nice and accommodating to your order and your add ons. I love that you are able to watch them bake the bagels and their pastries. Sometimes if they're low on staff, it does take longer to get your bagels but this has only happened to me a few times. I haven't experienced a time where I struggled to find a seat to eat, but I typically just order to-go. I also appreciate that their bagels don't run out quickly. The jalapeño cheddar is always my go-to, but I would like it spicier but it's still good! I will also die on a hill when I say you have to try their Funny Mocha Monkey at least once. The cashiers were nice and quick. I got the cafe garlic bagel and my sister got the California turkey bagel. I also got the espresso blast. We didn't have to wait too long for our order. We went around 11am on Thursday. It was pretty quiet and a chill setting where you can take your food to go or sit and people watch or talk. It opens before the mall so you're only able to stay in the little corner but once the mall opens they open extra seating and you're able to walk around the mall with your food. The bagels were soooo good. Crunch bagel and it is filled with a good amount of meat. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is their espresso blast. Me and my wife were there about an hour ago, and it was honestly the worst service we've experienced there. My wife kindly asked about a coffee that is usually sold out. The girl helping us said "no" with attitude. Moments later, she turned around and made that same drink for another customer who asked. When we returned and asked again, she rolled her eyes at us. My wife told her directly: "If I wasn't paying for it, that would be a problem. But I am paying for it. And there's no reason for eye rolls or attitude." Then she switched to Spanish assuming we wouldn't understand. We are Puerto Rican. We speak Spanish. Hearing disrespect behind our backs, in our language, was unprofessional and ugly. And when she finally made the drink--after all that? It was watered down. At that point, it would've been better for her to simply be honest and have someone else make it--someone who understands basic respect and customer service. This wasn't just bad service. This was disrespect. This was discrimination hidden under attitude. And I'm calling it out. Because behavior like that needs to be corrected--not ignored. read more

The ordering system is fast and their menu is simple, but the bagels do take a few minutes to be ready considering it's a very busy place. WHAT I ORDERED: The Monterey breakfast bagel. It had everything; bacon, avocado, cheese, mushrooms and Brussels sprouts on a whole wheat bagel. INSIDE: There's plenty of seating so you can relax while you wait for you order to be made, THE FOODS: My bagel was fresh and fluffy! I've got to admit, the last place I was expecting to find a great bagel spot was in a shopping mall! However, don't let the location fool you - this place makes a mean bagel sandwich! I got mine toasted with turkey, cream cheese, sprouts, and all the fixings. It was delicious & satisfying. I would definitely head back to this location to try out their other options and baked goods. The ambience is clean and cozy, set apart from the rest of the mall with its own private seating. Amazing New York Style Bagels! The boil before baking method they use makes the outside nice and crisp and shiny while leaving the inside soft & chewy! Really the PERFECT bagels every time. I elected not to get the sprouts or tomato. The cashier then advised if that was the case a build your own was cheaper. Much appreciated that he did that. The blazin turkey comes with turkey sprouts tomato and avocado. Both were really delicious. This was one of the better chicken salads I've had. Also the bagels were terrific. I almost changed my mind. Found the place with much ease and although there was a large crowd there wasn't a line! I ordered a jalapeño bagel and the jalapeño melt. Which was cream cheese fresh slices of jalapeño's and melted cheddar on top open faced and toasted to perfection. We also tried the pizza bagel. Which was exactly how it sounded a bagel made into a pizza. Sauce cheese pepperoni. Not for me but the bf didn't mind it. The chocolate muffin was 6 for my daughter. I feel guilty for not leaving reviews for this place before. We came here in December for the first time before a road trip to get bagels and coffee for breakfast. My daughter and I went for a more traditional route with a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese as where my husband and son with a more savory option and got a monterey breakfast and California Turkey. I loved how huge and soft my bagel was & the cream cheese had an extra sweetness that is hard to describe. Ever since then I've come here every other week after I drop my kids off at school and get 8 plain bagels and 3 tubs of their strawberry cream cheese.
