I absolutely love this place. My son is out here for Naval schooling and I came out here to visit him. I stopped and they have a huge selection. I bought several donuts. He tried them and said they were the best donuts he has ever had. I have to agree. This was 3 weeks ago. I flew back this week for his graduation. It was my go to and I have to stop. I did and got a couple of boxes full. Way more than we could ever eat. My husband was with us this time and said they are truly wonderful tasting donuts. We did a quick search of their reviews and decided to turn around and try this out for ourselves - Uhmm, best apple fritter I've ever had! Honestly one of the best I've ever had, the donuts were crispy on the outside but warm soft on the inside yet fully fried which is great because I hate biting into gooey dough. This place is dangerously close to our neighborhood. It took us a couple of years to try it because it looks like a little nothing shack, but the name is totally appropriate. Their doughnuts are delicious. We love the cinnamon sugar Bismark with apple filling, the pinecones, and their plain cake doughnuts have great flavor and texture. The donuts are always warm. The service has always been friendly. It's not your corporate donut shop. It's a mom and pop family run place. The ambiance is what you would expect. They work with what they have in an area that may not be welcoming for some. But they make it work. There might be some hesitation about stopping here because as my daughter remarked that this place looks sketchy :-) I looked up the history of the property and apparently it was a convenience store, in its former iteration, and since it's kinda isolated I think it may be the reason for all the bars in the windows and doors.  But don't let that stop you, and while I agree it's a little sketchy looking you'll be glad you braved the cover on this book because inside is some VERY tasty treats!!!  They offer a variety of donuts, coffee, tea, boba, smoothies, and breakfast sandwiches, all made in house in-house and fresh. The sandwiches come on bagels, biscuits, croissants, and even burritos as well as kolaches. But let's talk about those doughnuts, there's something special going on here.  Those delicious looking donuts in the showcase are not filled yet, that's right, there's some sweet choices to make! You get to choose jelly or cream inside you pastry of choice. Jelly flavors include apple, lemon, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, or pineapple. The creams include Bavarian cream, white cream, chocolate or cream cheese so you can create your own treat! The eclairs, bear claws and donuts are really delicious with pastry that is better than the chain shops and they are fresh and delightful.  I brought home an assortment of their offerings and we all enjoyed them very much. My favorite is the custard filled eclair, also a custom choice, and the glazed are now one of my favorites.  Bottom line: The folks here are very friendly and accommodating and they have 5 star sweet treats, you'll be glad you gave them a try!!!! read more

The best donuts will always be the ones that have the simplest approach ! These donuts are very traditional and so good! Their pinecone donut is my absolute favorite but their blueberry cake donut is always a must for me. They offer croissants sandwiches also and plenty other options including drink beverages. Everyone is polite and welcoming. Definitely worth an early morning drive for a fresh batch. 100x better than Krispy Kreme! read more

When it comes to a great donut, it's delicious donuts. But when it comes to ambience, maybe you wanna go to a different place. Yes, they can do quite a lot to the interior of delicious donuts to make it look like a great place. But, it is a great place because the donuts are fantastic. Also, the staff is wonderful and sweet I think all Pensacola's residents should send their business to delicious donuts is a great donut shop, and that it's a local business they make great soft and fluffy donuts , and they're local. You'll see where I talk about ambience, it's just not making it, but, that's OK I fell in love with the donuts, and that's all that counts. I didn't have good service here. If you are not White, don't come here. I ordered an iced latte, and the daughter gave me liquid sugar. When I told her it's not a latte, she just added cream. When I talked to her mom, her mom talked to her like I am not valid. I saw how they treated the male White customers before me. We ordered a blueberry cake doughnut and a custard filled chocolate glazed doughnut. They fill doughnuts to order which we had not seen before. They had several options for fillings. The menu says they have mochas and under iced coffee, it says vanilla OR mocha. I asked if they had iced mocha because the menu doesn't clarify hot or iced. She said they had iced coffee. So I asked for that with mocha. When we get to the car, I realize she had done vanilla. I am NOT a vanilla person. It's was like drinking milk. I don't like milk either. I didn't really taste any coffee, just strong vanilla. I didn't finish it. I just wanted to caution you...if you're a coffee person, go somewhere else. I don't think it's their thing. IF YOU'RE A DONUT PERSON...GO. My husband said they were good. The people were nice but they were slammed. It was VERY BUSY, which could have led to the mistake. But if it's only coffee you want, I'd go to a coffee place myself. read more

Very good donuts! I especially like the Apple fritters and the eclairs. They don't fill the eclairs until you order as they have several different fillings to choose from. It is a clean establishment and they are very appreciative of your business. They also have other sandwiches/pastries that I haven't tried. read more
