Dr. Sirin purchased the practice that used to operate out of his current location. When you call…read morethe old number, the receptionist answers the phone "Dr. Sirin & Dr. Burren's office". However, Dr. Burren (from whom he purchased the practice) no longer has anything to do with the practice. After going to Dr. Burren for 10+ years, I was used to an efficiently run dentist's office and a dentist with kind bedside manner and a willingness to take the time to converse with you and get into details in regards to any questions you had about your teeth. My experience here was different. I arrived just in time for my appointment, but waited for about 10 minutes in the waiting room. When Dr. Burren ran the place, you never waited more than 2 minutes, tops. When the time came, my hygienist did a great job, but because she had not been properly trained on the new software which Dr. Sirin used, my appointment took longer than necessary and made for what I would describe as an "un-smooth" experience. When she was done, I waited another 10 minutes for Dr. Sirin to come in. When he did, he gave me a brief greeting, looked at my x-rays, and said, "What's the plan for these wisdom teeth?" Somewhat confused as to why a professional was asking me how I plan to proceed in regards to the very professional services for which he was paid, I said, "I don't know...you tell me?" With little to no explanation he told me that they should come out and that the receptionist would give me a referral and that was about it. When I went to pay the bill, the cost was significantly more for similar services than it was under Dr. Burren. I don't like writing bad reviews, but my hope is that other former patients of Dr. Burren will see this review and as a result save a bit of their precious time and money...two things for which, in regards to his patients, Dr. Burren had more respect.

She applied numbing cream on my gum recession from years of over brushing. My teeth were cleaned and very tolerable compared to other dental establishments. Not only is the dentist amazing, but so is her hygienist! If you are looking for an experienced dentist and hygienist who give each patient the time they deserve- Bowes is the one. They have the latest technology at a very affordable price for those who have no insurance too! Even a large screen for you to see any dental issues or relaxing zen pictures while you are having your work done. I still will never enjoy going in but Bowes is the best in my 60+ years.

I took my daughter for her semi-annual checkup and as usual, Dr. Nancy and team were kind and made sure she felt comfortable. There was a problem with the x-ray machine, which delayed the appointment, but I wasn't disappointed, because my daughter is not a big fan of that part. So we skipped it and her appointment went smoothly. I had my teeth checked, cleaned, and polished and it was very relaxing and thorough. I appreciate it when I can just sit back and let the Dr. work and go. I would've loved to have my teeth x-rayed, but next time will do.
