First of all, I will say the food was delicious. We did a taco theme buffet style. But, we ran out of food. I paid for 92 people. We had a total of 80 show up, some which were young kids and WE RAN OUT of food! As the host, I was mortified and embarrassed. I texted her at the time and she implied it was my fault for not using them to serve. We had small plates and I watched everyone get their plate as I was standing by if anyone needed anything. There were not even 92 churros that were part of the dessert. It was also to include some Mexican style cookies, but instead she brought some type of store bought dessert rolls that no one ate. I never heard from her again in any attempt to make it right. read more

Stopped in to Deliteful Kitchen for lunch after driving by several times prior and wondering what they had. Delightful Kitchen is in the same place that Brewetarian was before they moved in case that helps anyone with the location. Anyways, on to the review. Once entering the restaurant there is the counter for coffee and juices as well as some pastries (more about those later). There is also a couple of coolers that have some pre made food and drinks. Then you have the dine in area which is decorated in nice soothing colors with comfortable seating. We were quickly seated and given some menus and offered some blackberry infused water. Um, yes please! It was as tasty as it sounds and offered a nice little boost to just some water with perhaps a lemon wedge. Hot Wife and I appreciated that when the water came out it did not come out with straws! Finally someone gets it! Single use straws are so wasteful. Bravo on that detail. Hot Wife ordered the vegan black bean burger (it doesn't denote specifically for the black bean burger that is is vegan, but after asking it was indeed. There are a lot of offerings that have vegan in the description but we weren't quite sure. Just ask) which she liked but it was kind of squishy and wasn't too warm. While good, it wasn't amazing. Hot wife wished that it had been more generous with the avocado topping. I ordered the Spanish rice bowl, which came with avocado, jalapeno, mixed greens, corn, peppers and onions with some white rice and lime cilantro dressing. Everything was fresh and delicious, though I thought maybe the rice would be more (Spanish) i.e. dirty, red, something like that, but it was delicious. Also a decent sized portion. The service was quick and efficient which usually isn't a descriptor for restaurant service in my vocabulary. As first time diners it would have been nice to ask some more questions of (I think the owner who served us) our server as we were curious about the place. But it was more get the job done, serve the food, and follow up which was fine. No banter. Hot Wife noted that while we were there two potential customers came in, were not greeted, they left after a minute or so of lingering at the front counter to go elsewhere. The door dings when people come in. We like seeing nice little restaurants like this one come to our area, but to thrive they need to up the hospitality game and make customers feel more welcome. We looked at some other dishes that others had ordered and everything looked amazingly fresh and delicious. On our way out we got some deserts, specifically a Blondie, and a Brownie which both are amazingly good. I particularly like the Blondie, rich, flavorful and little bits of chocolate. So good. Hot Wife remarked the Brownie was "so dense and fudgy" which at first I thought she was talking about me........but no, the Brownie and I agree! We will be back to try some more offerings. read more

I am currently pending a small claims suit against them for ruining my wedding and basically taking all my money for nothing. after paying nearly $10k to this company, I was left with endless stressful moments and ruined parts of my wedding from the planning portion down to the food. I paid $1800 for "wedding planning" with them and was left to do everything myself and the day of my wedding had a "planner" who was so rude and unprofessional one of my guests actually had words with her for the dirty looks she was giving me (the bride) and my husband. she did no guest coordination so my guests were all over the place not knowing where to go and she had NO COMMUNICATION WITH ME- so I was sitting in a room calling my guests to see when I should walk down the aisle. i paid extra for corsages and boutonnieres for family that they were unable to wear because the flowers were dead and the pieces were falling apart. the food was served cold, RAW CHICKEN, and tasted terribly. when serving my guests- she refused to give them larger portions yet at the end of the night the food trays were full of waters food. the dessert was FROM PUBLIX. $6 cupcakes and $7 brownies, keep in mind i spent $4k on "catering". the tables were left full of dirty plates and food all night long. they did not even bring trash bags to the venue so the trash cans were full and overflowing with garbage the entire night. the venue personnel themselves were absolutely shocked by the lack of professionalism and had never seen an event staff perform so terribly. at the end of the night this company broke my contract with the venue and stayed over an hour extra cleaning up- which I was then charged for, an extra $1k but the venue felt SO bad for me that they only made it $500. there are many many more things but for the sake of not leaving a novel of a review i'll leave it at this. please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! read more

My wife and I recently used deLITEful Kitchens to cater our wedding. We read Jessica's (the Owner) reviews; most were good and only a few were negative. One was an ex-employee who said Jessica was cheap and will prepare store-bought food rather than scratch cooking. We honestly thought it was just a disgruntled employee and not something to worry about. We were wrong. Prior to the wedding, we had many conversations with Jessica, (the owner), planning the menu, and discussing direct set-up instructions and timing. We didn't like that she requested to be fully paid before the event or that gratuities were included, however, she made us feel confident about her food quality and business practices, so we agreed. Long and short, they were to be at the venue a 4:00 pm and set up in a particular location. Jessica clearly knew where she was to set up and where not to set up. We walked in a bit behind schedule (of course) and we found their two vehicles and grill set up in a location that was to be used for part of the wedding (which Jessica knew). Upon many requests for her to immediately move, she was reluctant, slow, and uncooperative. Claiming that if she moved her (unheated) grill it would cause a 20- to 30-minute delay. We had no choice, she had to move, and she eventually did after many, many requests. The time it took for her to finally move, caused not only our dinner to be over an hour late it also caused every aspect of the wedding and reception to be delayed resulting in guest traffic flow issues, DJ/band timing thrown off, photography time cut by over 45 minutes (which we had to pay for), and some older guests leaving prior to being served. And even though we had blocked off parking spots for her grill, she decided to place it in front of a side door causing the venue's main entry to fill with smoke. We will say, the appetizers and grazing station were great, and thank goodness they were timely as guests were hungry due to the delay; however, Jessica refused to give any guest a second plate, despite the food being left over and dinner being delayed. As for the dinner itself, she didn't provide the cut of steak (Flank Steak) that we specifically requested, but instead a cheaper sirloin variation without the chimichurri sauce outlined on our menu. The chicken piccata was not sautéed breasts but instead, some kind of chunked chicken breasts, likely with store-bought sauce. We will credit her vegetarian option as those guests were satisfied. However, we do not believe most items were cooked from scratch, instead store-bought. Then to find out a week later via pictures, the soft pretzels we requested, had no salt on them, who does that? Due to the setup issues, our entire wedding was thrown off, resulting in some money wasted, and unhappy hungry, confused guests. If any vendor has an issue when getting to a site about setting up, the first thing they should do is call the person that hired them; not make choices for themselves that could result in a review like this. Also, the google reviews are from years ago, mostly for a restaurant they no longer own. You should take this review seriously, and avoid this caterer. read more

I used Jessica's catering and serving staff for my wedding 10/19/24. She did an absolutely amazing job, everyone told me how much they enjoyed the grazing table during cocktail hour. Her staff did a fantastic job providing salad/bread and bussing all at perfect timing and I received many compliments on the wonderful dinner she put together! She is also just a sweet and helpful person in general! I met Jessica while I was in the middle of pleading with a different caterer for simple demands, someone being difficult just because. Jessica was able to put together my menu and plan everything for me just a month out when I was on such a stretched budget at that point. She will work with you and find a way to create something fantastic in a way that works for you and her! She is a very creative women and is passionate about when she does and is good at it!! I am extremely grateful to have found her and have nothing but great things to say about her and her staff!!! This spot is a hidden gem in Stuart. All of the ingredients are sourced responsibly and I believe most of them are local, and (bonus) the restaurant is owned by a super awesome local mom. This place is very cute and looks clean. The only thing bad with this place is that it's over priced and takes very long for someone to get their food. I think they may be going out of business because they look a bit low on people working and didn't have anyone else eating inside. Moreover, the food took way too long maybe 20-30 minutes for 3 plates of small amount of food. Like I said, no one else was there it was only us inside. Walked in and wasn't greeted. Wanted to try a smoothie so what seemed to be a 10 year old girl helped me order. Although she was nice, couldn't recommend a smoothie and didn't seem to know much about any of them. Ordered a banana pineapple and OJ smoothie and it costed $9.49. Didn't have change for my 10 dollar bill so she gave me 1 dollar back. Tipped her the dollar she gave me. Took the poor little girl about 6 minutes to prepare it and then it sat on the counter as she forgot to hand it to me when she went to the back of the kitchen. I know it's kind of cute to have a young girl or daughter help, but the service was terrible and I payed $10 for a small smoothie that should've costed 4 or $5. I've eaten multiple times at Deliteful Kitchen. My fiancé and I try to eat a mostly vegan diet and gluten free. Finding places to eat for us is tough, but this place is amazing. I stopped by this establishment a few months ago to get a smoothie while waiting for an appointment in the same plaza. I always look forward to trying places with healthy vegetarian and vegan options. I have never been so compelled to give a negative review as I am about to. I arrived and thought the interior was nice as well as the menu options. I wanted something light as I was on the go. I then ordered a smoothie that proceeded to take 15 minutes to make. It was prepared by a young girl who looked to be about 11 or so. I waited patiently and watched the young girl slowly prepare the smoothie. While another woman who i presume to be the owner or manager scowled and did not pay any attention to me waiting or to what was happening. There was one other customer in the entire place. It was becoming frustrating as I was now late and did not want to be unkind or rude. When a few ingredients spilled, i saw the little girl lick some of the smoothie contents off her fingers and proceed to add more ingredients and make the smoothie and not wash her hands. She is a little girl, I do not fault her but I do fault the real staff who let this happen. When I begrudgingly said something about it to the staff member who handed me my 11+ dollar smoothie now 20 minutes later, the response was "uh, do you want another one?" No apology, no offer to rectify this, and I did not have another 20 minutes to wait so stayed calm and I took the smoothie and threw it in the garbage outside. Needless to say I will never be going here again. Terrible experience. Terrible customer service. read more

For a health restaurant they are extremely environmentally wasteful. Every drink you order will be in form of a plastic bottle (yes, even water.) The "panini" it's just a glorified sandwich (as in it's made with plain sliced bread) incredibly underwhelming. This afternoon I brought my kids and I in to try a local, organic restaurant. It is advertised as kids eat free on Tuesday. I paid for the kids meals and it wasn't anything to rave about. We sat there for close to 10 minutes. My child got us our menus and still hadn't been greeted. When the server finally came to take our orders it felt like we were imposing. This was after the lunch rush, closer to 2:00. We finally received our food and never heard back from the server. The check was never delivered. Walked to the front to check out. As a first time customer, I wasn't familiar with how this place operates. We were never asked if we needed anything or if we wanted to order anything else. While vacationing with friends in Stuart, FL we came across this WONDERFUL restaurant!! One of my traveling companions needs to eat gluten free, so we decided to try out this new-ish restaurant after she found it on a GF website. All I can say is that I wish this place was closer to home. The food is completely GF and it is amazing! Everything is fresh and delicious! My friend kept saying how great it was to eat food that "tastes real" instead of most of the gluten free she's tried. And believe me, you'll love everything on the menu, whether you have a special diet or not! Definitely try the Honey Butter Creamed Corn! I had the Chicken Philly and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. So happy I took half of it home with me so I could enjoy it two days in a row! I also bought a Sour Cream Coffee Cake muffin that was one of the best things I've ever eaten - and that comes from a HUGE cake lover! Just wish I'd bought about a dozen to bring back after the trip. The place is comfortable and the owner is amazing! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the welcoming place she's made.
