This place was a fantastic, random find. Wandering around the Marais, looking for something that isn't too meaty, and we stumble upon this joint. Surprisingly one of the best meals we had in paris. After foolishly not making a reservation for a Saturday night we wandered around the streets of paris in search of a table. We stumbled upon Delitaly and intrigued by the smell secured a table. We started with the vegis (skip these) and a bottle of wine (limited list but I enjoyed the bottle we chose). The pastas is where they excel. If you are interested in Italian in Paris this is a good option. read more

We ended up in this restaurant since we were turned away from Baffo down the road because they had no more availability due to reservations. This was a good location for us to eat because we were traveling with two 11 year olds who like their Italian food simple. Bolognese, eggplant Parmesan and the ravioli were all very good. For dessert we ordered Panna Cotta and Tiramisu which were all very tasty as well. The service was decent and they spoke to us in English. read more

Found this place on our walk back to the Airbnb in the rain. It was the perfect romantic dinner. My boyfriend got a veal dish and I got pasta with Creme fraise and speck. Got panna cotta with caramel for dessert. The original menu we got was in French but after it was very obvious we were American tourists we were handed an English menu for dessert. Fantastic find. While wondering around the neighborhood after being turned away for no reservations several times, we remembered seeing Little Italy as a tip from our hotel keeper and gave it a shot. We were seated right away and things just got better from there... We encountered incredible homemade pastas, awesome staff, and the most amazing tiramisu I've ever had in my life. As an appetizer, we ordered the antipasto "misto" platter and enjoyed everything it included. My meal, the pappardelle with shrimp and mushrooms, was phenomenal. I also tried the steak in gorgonzola sauce which was great. Lastly, the tiramisu, served in a little pot, was one of the best things I had in all of Paris. If you don't order it when you're there, you're clearly smoking crack. Or maybe diabetic. But whatevs...Just listen to me and ORDER TIRAMISU if you do nothing else in this place. A few other things to know... The wine list is quite small but the bottle of chianti was impressive. Ambiance was cheesy and a bit diner-like but once you start eating, it goes unnoticed. Lastly, the price point was affordable and for the quality of food and service we received, beyond well worth it. Great, great find. read more

This tight, busy luscious Italian eatery on Rambuteau has become one of my regular favs. Fresh made pastas are only the beginning. Very authentic Italian. You will be delighted. We went for their homemade pastas, but couldn't resist the special of the day which was chicken rolled around eggplant and sun dried tomatoes, with the most delicious sauce accompaniment. Started with some Calamari Friti and fried mozzarella. Both lightly battered and crispy. The mozzarella was in beignet-size portions served with lettuce and tomato, the same way the calamari was served. We also got one of their pastas - Farfalle Sciliana (light red sauce with eggplant). Everything was delicious. Do yourself a favor and check it out a few steps away from the heart of the Marais. read more

Convenient, tasty and friendly - we liked our experience at Delitaly. While it may not be the most authentic Italian food, our dishes were very good and our server was a lot of fun. I had a rich and satisfying fusilli with artichokes and speck while my partner had pesto linguini that he loved. We both enjoyed an amarone by the glass, something we don't find in the USA. read more

Such a hidden gem this place is! After wandering around the Louvre for the day, we were tired and hungry. I yelp'd an italian place that would be near us, and although this wasn't really "near" the Louvre, I'm so glad we made the walk anyway. The place is casual, intimate, and definitely has the playful, fun atmosphere of a neighborhood Italian restaurant. We ordered calamari for our appetizer, and it was super fresh and delicious. Then for our main entrees our group ordered a red sauce spaghetti, a pesto sauce pasta, and another red sauce spaghetti that came with a side of breaded fish. All the plates were super tasty - we couldn't make it to dessert as we were too stuffed! We had a really nice waiter too..a rarity in Paris. Highly recommend making the walk here to satisfy your craving for some hearty, authentic Italian food! read more

This is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant. We sat outside and had a great experience. The waitress was very pleasant and service was good. We had the bolognese and the Alla'matriciana. My wife and I really enjoyed our spaghetti carbonara. I had the meat one with delicious strips of bacony pork with a super cheesy/creamy sauce and parmesan on top. It was worth savoring every bite. My wife had the vegetarian version, they put in some artichokes that were quite delightful! We started with some arugula with a tiny bit of dressing and a whole lot of shaved parmesan on top, that was pretty boring and underwhelming for €9. But overall we had a great experience and, if we ever eat at a restaurant twice, this one will be up for consideration! read more

We had a strange experience here, and not in a good way. I'm pretty sure the waiter/owner tried to pull one over on us because we were tourists with limited French. The first issue was the appetizer. We ordered bruschetta. The waiter actually brought a prosciutto plate. He even confirmed verbally that the plate was what we ordered. We don't speak much French and have Midwestern accents, so we chalked the error up to a miscommunication and ate the prosciutto plate. The second issue is what prompts me to write this review. We finished our meal and requested the check. When the server brought the check, he told us that their credit card machine was down and he could only accept cash. This was strange because we had not yet tried to pay with a credit card. It was also strange that no one had mentioned this during the hour or so that we were dining. We had cash amounting to 85% of the bill. We explained this and offered to have one of us go back to our apartment (which is just down the street) and get the rest of the cash. Oddly, the server instead opted to knock one of our entrees off the bill, which brought it down to just under the amount of cash we had. We paid and walked out. On the way out, we saw another server using a credit card machine with a French couple outside!! It was clearly working. Now, maybe they have a different CC intermediary with a different machine for US cards. But I strongly suspect that we were lied to because we were tourists. We ended up getting a 15% discount on the bill. So it wasn't the end of the world. But still not cool. Just beware. Oh, the food was decent. But I can't shake the feeling that we were lied to, so we won't be back. read more

not sure where these Great service reviews are coming from. Food was really good, but waitress was slooowwww. Maybe had to do with only 2 waiters. But 12 total tables in the place. We waited about 20 mins for check after food was done. Then after bill delivered, she skipped by us about 5 times as my credit card was on table, and went for smoke break IN front of us Was horse chit. 1 1/2 hours after sitting down , my wife and I just threw the $42 euros cash on table and left. She Never gets mad (4 yrs as waitress ). But she was pissed We may have been only Americans there so could have factored in. Can't give any lower because food portions were big and good eats. Great food and service. Very close to the The Centre Pompidou. This restaurant can easily be in New York San Francisco or London. Service is fast and friendly to English speakers. Great alternative to French cuisine if visiting Paris and want to try something different. The "Little Italy" hors d'oeuvre came out quickly and is a must have. read more

When you are tired of French food and need an Italian break, this is your place. The portions are large by American standards. The food is as good as many of the Italian restaurants that I have eaten at in Italy. We had the roast veggie platter and the chicken Caesar salad. They were very good. The roasted veggies were tasty and not over cooked. The Caesar salad was not an American type Caesar, as there was no typical Caesar dressing, but it was very good just the same. We then shared a pasta dish with Basil, Saffron and shrimp that was excellent. I thought the wine was a little expensive, but the Chiante may have been the best that I have ever had. For desert, we split the tiramisu. It was excellent. Looking around at the other dishes being served, The meat and side past dishes were very tempting looking and equally large portioned. The setting is very casual. Service was attentive. English is spoken here. read more
