I found Della White Photography on Facebook and instantly fell in love with her portfolio. My husband and I made an appointment with her to sit down and find out (with fingers crossed) if she would be available on our date. We had dealt with so much drama with details it was so nice to know that we had an experienced and talented photographer capturing our special day. I was blown away by the moments she captured!!! Even now I have so many of the pictures on display in my home and will always cherish them, especially the ones of my mom and I. Several of those moments were proudly on display at her memorial because Della was able to capture the beauty and happiness of that day in a way that truly sets her apart as an artist. Even now when people ask me I always recommend her services and constantly receive compliments on how gorgeous my photos are. She is also such a humble and sweet person which made taking photos even easier. My husband is not the most photogenic person and is the kind of guy that when you tell him to smile he is reminiscent of those forced kindergarten photos but she made him feel comfortable and just let us enjoy each other so that he didn't have to force anything. Of all the vendors my husband and I worked with for our wedding, Della was hands down the best decision we made! Everything about the process was flawless! In the time leading up to the wedding she was so patient with all my questions and she responded so quickly to anything we needed. The day of the wedding she and her assistant were the biggest assets a bride could ask for! She was there before any of the bridal party got there, she helped my husband and the men get prepped, she was so organized and just went above and beyond! The pictures were absolutely gorgeous, which was so important to us because when all is said and done, that is what you're left with forever! If you can afford it, you HAVE TO get an Italian wedding album! She got all the pictures up in a timely manner and was so great with all of the ordering from me and my guests! Everything Della shoots is incredible. There are so many things that can (and do) go wrong when it comes to a wedding, but she made everything amazing. My flower girl was a little monster that whole day (she was 2 years old at the time) but based on what Della was able to capture, she looked like an angel. It is a true testiment to her talent and how in tune she is with what is going on that allows her to capture the most beautiful moments. My husband and I were very impressed with Della White's portfolio. After meeting her we quickly signed a contract and payed the deposit to secure our wedding date. We were relieved to know we had the photography taken care of... However, a month or two before our wedding, Della called to inform us she was picking up and moving to New York. Although disappointed, we understood and asked that our deposit ($400) be returned as she would be unable to provide the services promised. Della refused, and said her sister would shoot our wedding instead. As we were not at all comfortable with that, and her relocation was a breach of contract, we asked for the return of our deposit - again. Sadly, Della was unrelenting and skipped town with our money. We were shocked and disgusted at how unscrupulous she was. We couldn't help but feel scammed. What kind of person does that to a couple planning their wedding? With great pains and postponements, we finally took her to small claims court. Our case teetered on the vagaries of her contract. In a gross miscarriage of justice, the judge awarded us only half of our deposit. Still, Ms. White refused to even pay that amount. For 5 long years we waited. After posting our story on yelp Della finally faced the music. Only after our negative review did she make any effort to contact us. She demanded that we delete our review before she paid us the court judgement of $200. Believing we had little other chance of getting a modicum of what she took from us, we reluctantly agreed. Even in the end, Della felt entitled and self-righteous. In her email rantings, she had done no wrong, in fact she was the victim of bad press! Because of this we decided to keep our review up. Shout it from the virtual mountaintop! If another couple suffered the same fate as us, we would feel responsible for staying silent for a paltry payout. People deserve to know, she cannot and should not be trusted. Hopefully, Della White will learn from this and become a better businesswoman and human being. We'd be grateful if she paid the rest of the money she stole, defrauded and absconded with - but we won't hold our breath on that notion. read more

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with some special pictures. Initially I wanted to give these pictures as a Valentines gift, but Della informed me she was booked so I decided to give it to him as an Anniversary gift. Della is very friendly and communicates well. I also loved her hair and make-up artist. She did a wonderful job. I did the boudoir session at the Hyatt in downtown Riverside. After a horrible experience with the previous photographer, I found Della (thank God!!). Oh where do I start, I met Della in 2012 when she did some boudoir pictures for me which I LOVED!! She is an awesome photographer with amazing talent; her candid pictures are my most favorite she really knows how to capture those intimate personal moments. Della is always the first person that comes to mind when I want professional pictures. When my husband (as of June 6th 2015) and I decided to get married, Della was the first vendor I contacted to see what dates she had available before we even picked out a day, I REALLY REALLY wanted her to be the our photographer I knew she would capture each special moment perfectly. On the day of our wedding Della and her assistant Shelia were amazing; they were both super sweet, patient and they always made sure we stayed on our timeline schedule which I really appreciated because we were able to get all the pictures we wanted without rushing. There's things that I remember about our wedding day but everything was so hectic that the time flew by so quickly that I honestly don't remember much about the details like what dinner tasted like, what music was played or what random things we did, there is one thing that I do however remember saying hell ya when asked will I marry my husband, everything else was a blur, all I can say is THANK GOODNESS for Della she captured moments I didn't even know we had.
