My wedding was originally scheduled before the pandemic. As things started to shut down, things started to get scared. Vendors started pushing back, doing dark, etc and, Nikki was the first one to call and help work through solutions. She even offered to get on the phone with me to problem solve with the more difficult vendors who refused to put the wedding on hold until they were given more money! We re-scheduled for a smaller wedding, and I opted out of a wedding planner. The event took place in several locations. It was hot, and the bridal party included small children and a baby. I created custom timelines for everyone. As usual, the day got off to a late start and it started to get very stressful. Nikki was the only person who had the timeline in hand, and she was watching the clock like a hawk to make sure everyone got back on and stayed on track. I could not believe how she was able to capture such amazing photos while stepping in as the planner. In terms of photography, while I had particular requests for the photos I wanted, she brought brilliant ideas to the table. The entire day (as well as throughout our engagement photos), she was fun, easy-going, and made my husband, who hates taking pictures and is usually very serious, lighten up and laugh. The entire family took joy in working with her. Oh, and when we encountered venue staff who did not want to let us take pics or put a limit on it (during both engagement and wedding), she was able to negotiate and work with them until we got the perfect shot. I got my wedding photos back quickly and was in total awe. Throughout the entire process, she was very communicative and prompt. I'm not sure how this superhuman manages to crush it at her job, on top of everything else. I am so grateful to Nikki for being a part of my special day. As a first-time mom, I was really excited to get my 11-month-old baby's first Easter photos taken, she advertised on Instagram that her photos would be a better alternative to mall photos. More thoughtful, higher quality, and a better overall experience for a similar price. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. When we arrived, I was holding my son and trying to ease him into the situation so he would feel comfortable sitting with the Easter Bunny. Without warning, Summer suddenly grabbed him out of my arms and said, "Here, let me just grab him," and immediately placed him on the bunny's lap. This clearly startled him, and he began crying. While I understand that some children may be scared in situations like this, abruptly taking him from me made it much worse. I believe children should be given time to warm up, especially at this age. She then quickly took only two photos while he was crying and said, "Okay, that's it. No more. He's just going to keep crying." The session was essentially over within 20 seconds, and I was left feeling uncomfortable, rushed and dismissed. I paid $45 for this, and the entire experience felt very unprofessional and transactional. As a parent, you want someone who respects boundaries, especially not grabbing your child without permission!! and who actually cares about creating a meaningful experience for a milestone like a first holiday photo. We drove 45 minutes for this session, and it was incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend booking, especially for walk-in photo sessions. Parents deserve a more patient, respectful, and thoughtful approach especially when it comes to their children. I only wish I had told her I wasn't going to pay for the horrible service. Unfortunately, I do respect a business owners time. Even though she did not put in any time or effort and it is not like there was a need to rush it too. There was no one in the lobby waiting after us.

She is incredibly professional, prompt, and so easy to work with. During our second session, she was absolutely wonderful with both my newborn and my toddler. Getting a toddler to cooperate for pictures isn't easy, but she had my little one smiling, laughing, and genuinely enjoying the experience. It made for the sweetest family photos that I'll treasure forever. Her turnaround time was just as impressive as her photography. She had my proofs ready the very next day, and within just a few days I had all of my finished photos. The entire process was seamless from start to finish.
