Yesterday was 106 degrees and our A1C UNIT went out. We called our ex company to come repair it and were told end of week!!! Spoke to a very good friend who recommended Dell's A.C. here in Tracy. They came out in 2 hours...repaired the unit and did a complete service in less than an hour!!! These people were amazing! Not only were they amazing..fast..and resonable..they were exceptionally professional and this is very rare anymore. I will be using them for all my jobs from now on. They come out every few months to check it and all I have to do is just call!!! No paying..contracts etc..just call. Just had a visit from Dell's Heating and Air today at our new house. The weather decided to get REALLY hot, and we noticed our Air Conditioning was working for a long, long time to cool off the house. Dell came over and inspected the system. He was prompt, arriving in the time frame he promised. He educated me on the way the AC works, and explained that the unit was inadequate for the square footage it needs to keep cool. It was such a great experience having a friendly and knowledgeable professional arrive at my home to help our family with our AC troubles. Our heater quit during cold weather. I asked for recommendations on a neighborhood site and got a recommendation for Dells. A serviceman came out right away and went up into the attic to check out our heater. Apparently, my husband had moved things around in the attic a few days earlier and had accidentally bumped a switch and turned the heater off. The repairman from Dells turned it back on and declined to charge us, even after we said we expected to pay something for his time and trouble. He could easily have told us our heater had run out of dilithium crystals or something and we would have believed it and paid up. I called Dell's at the last minute to get my AC and furnace inspected. I had taken the day off from work to get other work done on my soon-to-be rental and realized I had not set up the appointment for the AC/heater check. They came out that day, within 2 hours, and did a great job. Very friendly, thorough, and didn't charge extra for some work that had to be done on the furnace. It really is nice to have such excellent customer service these days, and this is one of the reasons why I really enjoy living in a smaller town because there are businesses who can accommodate last minute requests like this. I want to thank Dell for saving me money. I called Dell yesterday. Told him my furnace was leaking and leaving a puddle. Instead of charging me who knows how much for coming over. He told me it could be a very simple fix. That I should try it before he came over and looked at it. I took his advice and yes it was a simple fix. Our air conditioning stopped working late Thursday night. Being the 4th of July weekend I thought I wasn't going to get it worked on until next week but hoping for the best. I left messages to a few other a/c companies but no answer or return calls. I did get a hold of Dells Heating told them our problem and I would take any time they have available. He told me they were very busy but would get a technician there today. They came sooner than later and were very nice told me what they would have to do and the price. I have been using Dells Heating and Air for all my heating and air conditioning problems since 2006. He has installed 3 full units in a couple of my rental properties as well as my primary home. The first unit I installed I called 3 different bids to make sure I was getting the best price and Dell was by far the best at communicating and the best price. After bidding it out the first time I realized I didnt need to do that anymore and "worry" whether I was getting a good price. Dell had earned my trust and from then on I just call him for any of my Heating/Air needs. I have also called him last minute for emergency repairs and he always come thru. I came home after 4 days away and found my AC to be out. I was given three different referrals by context of mine the first to either did not answer the phone or had voicemail the third I called and I'm glad I did was Dells. The gentleman answering the phone was obviously one of their technicians. He ask all the proper questions of what was wrong arrived at my house in 1 1/2 hours and had fixed the problem because he suspected what it was and was carrying the proper part with him. I got all that from Dell's. But the owner goes one step further by giving back to the community in that he trains teens of good character with skills that will carry them throughout their life. The technician that actually did the work started with Dell's when he was 15 or 16 (per the owner). The owner (Delmis Fernandez) personally trained the young man. He (Zach) is now in his early 20's and really impressed me. When I spoke to Del afterwards, he mentioned that he had also taken on a young 16 year old years ago who is now, at 28, moving on to pursue his own dreams of being a fire fighter. Our ac decided not to work on the FIRST hottest day of the summer, and I called Dell's. He returned our call immediately and came out within 2 hours. He was our hero! I was in Tracy CA visiting my friend for a week. One day the AC stopped working. My friend tried his DIY stuff but eventually called Dell after seeing the reviews on yelp. His guys came the same day and looked at the AC. Luckily the condenser was fine but motor that blows air had burnt out. Got a quote and it was replaced as soon as Dell was able to find the part. I promised Dell that I'd leave him a good review if he took good care of us. I'm sure he would have done that anyway. Next time you have any heating or cooling issue, definitely call Dell. I was referred to Dells by a close friend so I called and had to leave a message. After 5 hours of no return call, I decided to called him again and he answered. I asked if he makes service calls to Modesto. He was hesitant about coming out this far and I understood, so I asked him that I'd appreciate it if he could refer us to someone in Modesto. He said he knew of no one (hard to believe) then he asked what kind of issues I was having with my unit. I explained that I have a brand new unit, (purchased house in 2015) it was 2 years old and that it was blowing out hot air. I explained that we're pretty sure it just needs a charge since it's brand new. He said that he could send someone out in a week and I told him that I'm very appreciative and grateful and made the appointment. He sends out Dave, who got lost for 45 minutes, he finally shows up and I explained to him the same thing. He turned on the system, it's blowing out hot air, he starts measuring it with his tool, goes outside, gets his ladder out and goes up to the roof to check on the unit, he's going in and out of the house with his measuring tool. After 2 hours, he finally tells me it needed to be charged and that he took care of it, 3 lbs @ $55.00. Then I see his labor and he marks 2 hours @ $90.00! I was so upset that I couldn't even say anything, I just thought to myself, it took you 2 hours to figure it out what I told him it needed? In all my years of having my unit serviced, it only took like 15-30 minutes. This unit is brand new, needed NO work whatsoever and he scammed us for 2 hours! Needless to say, we won't be using OR referring Dell to any family or friends. I'm disappointed with the whole situation, their character and business ethics!! I haven't even received a call from him just to check and see how the unit is working or if we are happy with the service. Live and learn! read more

My AC had recently went out. I called Dells last Sunday and left a message. My message was returned with a call fairly quickly. I had spoke to a gentleman and set up an appointment for someone to come out yesterday, Saturday July 22nd. They did not give me an exact time which I thought was odd, but I was going to be home all day and I really needed my AC fixed. I never received a call or anything confirming my appointment. I even called Saturday morning, the day off the appointment, to confirm. I left a message. I never received a call back. No one ever showed up. I had to go a week without AC in 100° weather, but I dealt with it because I was only available weekends. Now I'm stuck with no AC and no one to fix it. I am now scrambling to find someone who can come. I have wasted a week's worth of time that I could have booked with someone else. I understand you are busy, but it's pretty horrible to schedule an appointment and never show up or never call. I hope no one else has to go through this. read more

I had gotten my AC unit looked at by 2 really nice and professional gentlemen. They were very knowledgeable and they walked me through every step of their trouble shooting process. 2 weeks after I had my AC unit fixed by Dells, my unit stopped working and I was afraid I was going to have to wait several days before someone was available to come check it out. But I called this morning and within an hour of me calling, 2 repair techs were at my door. And my AC was back and running within minutes.
