I picked Dell heating & Air on line, one of three that I was going to call yesterday. I called Dell first, and very happy I did! I spoke with Dell himself. He was very courteous on the phone. He said he could send someone to my house in 15 minutes to check out the upstairs air conditioning unit that was not running. It was checked out, "seized up fan motor", he told me the total cost, which seemed very reasonable. After the lunch hour, I called him back, he said he could get the motor that night. He called me pretty much first thing the next morning. Zach was there and gone within 45 min - 1 hour. My daughter said they were super nice clean polite well dressed gentlemen! I have been truly impressed with Dells Heating and Air. From day one, I had a couple quotes from Dell directly and I was hesitant since I knew I was going to be replacing my furnace and condensing unit (since it was original to my home and was just time for a update) we had been going without heat for awhile, and anticipating the hot summer coming I was ready to get some quotes! Shane, was very knowledgeable and came to my home for a quick quote. They seemed to know exactly what they were talking about.. and didn't seem like they were taking me to the highest most expensive product right off the bat. We asked for a few options, quotes, and higher efficiency options (to help save in the long run) and they did just that. Made an appointment for Sunday to replace my heating and cooling system. Didn't even bother to show up. No phone call, no email, nothing. Always amazes me that at an average of $15,000 to $20,000 dollars it costs to replace a heating/air system they can afford to not show up. Very disappointing. read more

Bought a house, during escrow the condenser was stolen for scrap metal. Everything was so old, it all needed to be replaced.I had a few other companys look at what I had and then stumbled across Dell's company. I had him come out and look too. Dell took the time to explain to me about the different options I had with brand name systems. I had never met Dell before, but he treated me as if we had been friends for years! I took his advise on systems and the layout of the new duct. Dell and his crew were at my house the next day and removed everything in the whole house that had to do with heat and a/c. Dell and his crew treated my house as if it were their own houses!! And that's hudge to me. Everything they put in was top quality equipment as was their work! Both were neat and professional. They explained what they were doing and why. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it right away and then checked other components. Dell was the only one available on the same day(triple digit temp) to come out and assess my parents AC. My parents had an earlier assessment that their unit was defective and needed another unit. After doing my research online for a good reputable company to fix my air conditioning, I decided that Dell's Heating and Air was the best choice. They came out the same day I called and within the time frame given. My a/c went out and usually I do my own repairs. Last year, I replaced the condenser motor. So, when my a/c stopped working and the line set didn't ice up (indicating clogged filters were not the problem), I assumed the worst, such as a bad compressor, or a Freon leak. Since the law says I can't touch those problems, I checked on Yelp for someone that could come out on a Saturday. I found Dell and based on the reviews, they appeared to be honest. Having a 33 year old system, I just knew that most techs would not try to repair the system, but try to sell me on a new system. Zach and Pedro came out and said they found that a wire broke off of its mount and quickly fixed it and charged just the minimum for coming out. Part of me was irritated that I could have fixed it myself and the other part of me was thankful that it wasn't more serious and they fixed it the same day. There are not enough stars to give to Dell. I totally recommend Dell's Heating and Air to be your first call. I've had numerous problems with my air conditioner when I first moved into my house. My first mistake was I went to another company to fix my air conditioner- which they never fixed- I'll leave it as that. AC went out at the start of a week long stretch of what was supposed to be the hottest days of the year last summer - called 2 other companies, one couldn't come out for 3 days, one never called me back. Called Dell's based on good reviews and they come out within 3 hours to look at my AC. Technician fixed the problem within a half hour, total cost for service call and parts was $140. I was referred to Dells by a friend who have used them several times in the past and had very positive experiences. Our AC went out last Friday night. I called on Saturday morning and by 11:00 our AC was fixed. Zach came out on time and was very professional. He explained what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. We asked him several other questions about upgrading our system in the future and he was very thorough. They came out and tried to fix the problem. it worked for a short while, then it quit and they came out again no charge. The same happen again. What it ended up being was a harder problem to find, the drain pan was cracked. I had to have the original installer come out. AC compressor stopped working Tuesday night. Left an Internet request with 5 star Altamont Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning even tried calling them with no answer in the AM. Later on in the afternoon I called again and someone answered saying that I will be contacted later this evening to schedule an appointment. The customer service at Altamont is at rock bottom as far as I was concerned so I looked up another yelp 5 star which was Dell's Heating & Air. Dell's answered the phone on my first attempt and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next morning between 8 and 9. Amazing service. My AC broke last Friday. I thought it would need to be replaced as it's 15 years old. I called Dell's and another well known company. Other Co answered the phone but told me it's a 2 week wait, to go online and send an email. Dell's came out the same afternoon, early, and replaced a bad run cap. Price was very fair and service was priceless.Told me I had some life left on the ole AC even though I was expecting to pay for a new one. Very professional courteous service from Shane! Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Wonderful to find there are honest and extremely competent and professional owners and technicians who truly care and deliver such fantastic service. My AC was not working and the weather was extremely HOT. Dell scheduled me right away for a service call and within minutes of arriving the technicians discovered the problem and resolved the issue. Not only did they replace the malfunctioning component but identified another component that would have gone out shortly after. I had a lot of questions and the technicians answered everyone of them. Zac, service technician, called me back the same day that I called and scheduled an appointment to look at my air conditioning unit the next day. He was polite, prompt and knowledgeable. He cleaned the unit, checked to make sure all the components were working, and checked that it had Freon. The cost for service was $75.00 and so worth it. I called Dell when I had a strange smell in my house that seemed to be coming from my AC. Dell had me do a couple of things to try and troubleshoot the problem over the phone. He then came out just two hours later. The smell turned out to be gas cans and not my AC. But he noticed my recent furnace installation (done by another local company last fall) and quickly pointed out three things wrong with it -- one an actual code violation. He suggested I contact the other company and have them fix the problems. When I said I didn't want them back in my home, he gave me a (very reasonable) estimate to fix everything. In just a couple of hours, everything was fixed and during this time I was given an education on some of the basic workings of HVAC systems. I'm a single woman homeowner, so the information was very much appreciated. These guys are friendly, thorough, and take a lot of pride in their work. Our A/C broke over the weekend & I called a different company.The guy came & listened to the whirling sound of the unit & said: "You need a new system"..then started talking about high energy efficient new HVAC system that will cost $15,000 & he made me believe it was a MUST!.,when I was hesitant,he said,he can just top up the Freon for now for $1,500 until I decide on the new unit.I called Dell's on Monday & they were available within 10 minutes.Brad & Joey came,checked the switches,unit & other stuff & was straight forward saying your run cap is the problem with flat rate of $210..Imagine the surprise in my eyes hearing this..we almost got scammed by the other company & Dell's just saved us from a 15 yrs worth of paying a new unit which was unnecessary at this time..So folks.,lessons learned on this one..Best to just call Dell's because they are the most honest,expert & straightforward HVAC company out there!.,Thank you Brad & Joey!
