While traveling had an issue with AC not blowing cold so established an appointment at 9AM their recharge and inspection promo of $59-60. Was told charge was ok yet fuse for blower blew possibly due to rust somewhere and was suggested a full replacement of compressor and condenser for $2250. Called local mechanic back home and told typically $1000-1200 job so had them change fuse only and paid $125. Two weeks later when traveled further north for a month the AC was not blowing cold again so took to another shop for which they did a recharge with dye to look for leaks yet could find none and paid them $100. They too advised if had to do full replacement of items mentioned be in the $1000 range so be cautious at this store. Been over two weeks and so far so good. read more

When I arrived I was told that the oil change would be $69.99, more than double the offer. I told them I had a $29.99 coupon and they proceeded to tell me that my car would not take that kind of oil. I've used them in the past with no problems. Now it looks like a new crew. I brought my Carin to have a brake lines replaced and oil change. I stopped by the next day to see where we were at to have some other work added. I was in no rush to pick up the car and saw it was still on the lift. They told me to wait around. So I did. Then it was taking a little longer than I expected. I wasn't looking to take the car knowing the job would take time to complete. I walked over to see the mechanic so I knew who to tip when the job was done and saw it was on the lift incorrectly and bending the bottom of my fenders (see photo). I complained to the manager and he went to talk to the mechanic. Ten minutes later he said when the car was on the ground the fenders were banged in and straightened out. Suddenly I'm told we can't do the brake work here and other things the car needs. They changed the oil and charged me close to $200. They said I had a nail in one tire that they didn't bother fixing and basically said because they can't do the brakes they didn't bother. *!* Norman the "Store Manager" is RUDE *!* Called in Sunday to see if they had a specific tire in stock, Wes and answered the phone and was helpful, pulled the tire for us to be in at 1pm the same afternoon. Here's when everything went wrong. Once we showed up the tire was confirmed and then the shop put a different tire on the car and never mentioned anything to anyone. A day later we see it's a different tire and call in to ask for help. Greg answered the phone this time and is rude right from the start, finally agrees there was a mistake and they'll make it right, asks us to bring the car in the next morning. Now roughly 48hrs after their mistake the store manager, Norman, can not figure out how this happened, will only talk over you and tell you that you're in the wrong. Extremely unprofessional and condescending knowing you've already paid for the tire and service. Firestone has always been one of those places needed out of necessity, if you have the option use any other service in town. These guys are arrogant and rude once you hand the keys over. read more

I came in to get a new battery on a Sunday because they were one of the only places open to do so, when they brought my car into the shop to put it on the lift they completely bent my rim and slashed one of my tires. Completely incompetent and unacceptable doesn't even begin to describe the service here. I brought my daughters car in which is a 2014 Mustang because the air conditioning was not getting cold. They charged me $32 for diagnosis and it took them three hours and they gave me an estimate of $6000 to fix the car. They told me the water pump was leaking and I brought it to another mechanic and it was not leaking. They also told me I needed a air-conditioning compressor and a condenser, which was totally false because all I did was add a little bit of Freon and cleaned out the condenser with a hose and the AC is cold as can be. They also said I needed a serpentine belt which my mechanic said was fine and also told me I had bad valve cover gaskets. No oil was visible leaking. They should be brought up on criminal charges for this bullshit because it cost me $11 to fix my car. Actually it was $43 because 32 of it was for them to misdiagnose my car. I am going to do everything to take them down because they are robbers and I would not send my worst enemy to them, oh, maybe I would!! But took longer because they didn't keep us update that 1 tire wasn't in the store, so we stay out of necessity but now we REGRET that decision. - I WAS YELLED BY THE MECHANIC GEORGES, I told him that I asked Brian that I wanted to take pictures underneath my car that he said yes, the mechanic didn't respond but when I tried to walk towards the car, he start yelling at me very nasty and disrespectfully. I was in here today for an appointment made yesterday and I was in and out pretty quick considering all the work I needed done. I needed new brakes and rotors on the front and rear, new serpentine belt, replace engine filter, replace cabin air filter, and an oil change to top it all off, so really a quick job but they made it feel like one how prompt and timely they were. They took me in as soon as I got there for my appointment, gave me an estimate of what everything would be, and the final bill was exactly that, plus a few small things I needed done like replacing my windshield washer pump that went out. They kept me updated on the progress of the car (my Nissan Titan so truck really haha), explained everything I didn't fully understand, and even gave recommendations on what to do now and in the future, and how certain components of the car work together for the more technical stuff I wasn't so knowledgeable on. Women: stay away from this place. I've had nothing but bad experiences here. I've been here three times and I'm done after them urging me to get $3600.00 in repairs! First visit: all four tires and wheel alignment. At this appointment, one of the mechanics broke something while working in my car, which made the appointment last for four hours, as I had to wait for the part to get there. Second was an oil change that was three months ago and no recommendations. Last week: oil change, tire rotation, and check ac because of warm air. I was given a quote of $3576.56 of things they said I need. That seemed odd, as three months ago, no recommendations were given. I immediately took my car to the Nissan dealership and long time family mechanic for second/third opinions. Both places were shocked by what was recommended. I do need work but both places recommended around $1000.00 and did not agree with all of the things that were recommended by this Firestone. A couple hundred dollars wouldn't be such an issue but thousands is just awful. Shame on you Firestone for trying to swindle me and get my money!!! About a week ago I woke up to a flat tire! Completely flat to the point I couldn't drive it. then had to put the spare on however couldn't locate a jack. I walked to the nearest Firestone (located on the corner of se second and ne sixth federal hwy/ east Delray Beach). I got there and a employee named Brian with a man bun was nice enough to loan me his personal jack. I walked back(luckily wasn't too far and managed to put on the spare tire). Drove back to Firestone, gave Brian back his jack and offered him cash, which he profusely refused. They found the nail on the tire and patched it all for less than $30 out the door.! When I question Brian why he refused to accept extra money for the favor he said to me that "it wasn't about money it's just what you do when someone is in need and that he was just simply doing his job." On an awful hot summer day in florida with light rain I'm blessed to have a Firestone close by with guys like Brian around. A real stand up guy! I have never had an issue with this place. My Husband and I have been coming here for years since we live is close. That was until yesterday. I dropped my car off in the evening after work so they could have it first thing in the morning. The issue is an unknown one- at least for me, so they offered me to get an engine diagnosis or just take it to the dealership (the one nice guy at the front seat Brian did tell me he figured it had something to do with reprogramming some computer thing which would need to be done at the dealership, and to be clear, I'm not complaining about him). I decided to just pay the money to get an engine diagnosis just in case it was something they could fix. Well, I called around 11:30 to ask about my car because no one had called me to update me yet, and the guy told me they were still looking at it and they would call me In an hour. Well, I was working so I got sidetracked and realized at around 3:30 that I hadn't heard from them. So I called and my car was ready and had been ready but no one called me. The worst part is that they still had no idea what was wrong with My car!! If they had told Me Earlier in the day I would have had time to take it the dealership. Now I'm heading out of town for Work and will not have time to take it to the dealership. All in all I am just frustrated with the fact that it was a literal waste of a day. Also, when I went to pick up the car, no one had a mask on, the guys were all on their phones and drinking coffee like it was a hang out. The only person who had a mask on was Brian. It's 5 stars for the service advisor Mike R. who helped me solve a flat tires late Friday afternoon. The technicians servicing the vehicle dragged down the rating due to the lack of detail and quality. The new tires were sent out without wiping all the lube from the sidewalls that dried into a white mess (on the black sidewalls). The tire pressures were not set to spec (easily found on the driver's door sticker). I needed to change out my rear tires (put a giant hole in one - thanks I-95) so changing out 2 for safety #yolo. Anyway, after searching reviews and needing tires in a hurry I settled on this place. 100% recommend getting a quote online, PRINT IT OUT(or save to your phone if you're so inclined), and hand it to them the minute you walk in the door. Otherwise they will add things like "road hazard protection" without asking first. They also said things like "do you want a one time alignment or a lifetime alignment" leaving out the option for no alignment. It felt like a fight to keep them from charging for things I didn't need. Anyway, they are super nice while trying to get the most money out of you possible. Very polite and tried to work with me when I didn't have my online quote to make it match. (Which is why this review isn't a 1 Star). And their tire prices were not bad compared to what I found online. And they will price match - the tires I picked online were discontinued so they gave me the closest for the same price (usually $10 more per tire). My appointment was at 8am, I got there about 7mins early and by the time we had the price figured out it was about 8:15am. They didn't take my car back for another 20mins. I left around 9:40am with my car and two new tires. I am mostly disappointed at the lack of advisement. I feel like I had to do a lot of research about tires and safety (ie is it safe to replace just one, etc) before coming here. If you're a tire place, you should be experts in tires. They didn't even check the tread on my front tires to see if they needed to be replaced. All they recommended was an alignment and road hazard protection which was automatically added when they set up with service. read more

They said it was not repairable and put a firestone tire on a car with brand new Michelin's on it. Failed to mention it was firestone tire and would not match the rest. I had you install tires and you recommended an alignment. I listened to you and did the alignment. The car has not driven straight since you did the alignment. I brought it back for an oil change and to have the alignment done so the car would not drift to the right. I get the car back 2 hours later and drive the car off the lot. The car drifts to the right on the first straight away. I call that day and explain. They say bring it in the next day. I come back the next morning. Your adviser says it's probably the tires. You rotate the tires. The same first straight away, the car drifts to the right. The steering wheel is not at zero. Zero is approximately 5o to the left. I'm so frustrated with you that I'm ready to go on Yelp and post this same review. Highly disappointed is an understatement. read more

I brought in my car- they didn't have time to see me. I made an appointment for the next day at 12 and was told my car would be ready by 2 at the latest and they would call. Nobody called and I knew they closed at 7pm. I called, no answer. I drove down and got there at 6:50pm and they were still working on my car. I asked them how long they needed. They said a few hours. I called my husband and asked him to come & pick me up. He drove over & went inside to ask how long until the car would be ready and they said they were done. It took them 10 mins. I was sitting outside and they didn't even let me know my car was done. They ended up totally screwing my car up. Dude was in a rush to leave & parked my car over the concrete block, so when I started it and put in reverse to back up...Yeah, u get the pic.. It took off my fender, front undercarriage & also busted my plate holder. Not cool! Wtf? I purchased tires at this Firestone with lifetime rotation and balance. I brought it back in on appointment for the rotation and balance and they told me would be ready no later than an hour and a half. After an hour and 1/2 they still had not taken the car into the shop. They basically lied about not taking others before me. Clearly they take precedence for new pay clients versus those under service contracts. Avoid this place at all cost. They are terrible! read more
