Dave quoted me a price to fix the mirror on my Honda CRV. About an hour later, after I told him that he was much less than another dealer. About an hour later he told me that the price would be approximately double because of feature he should have known about when we first spoke. Make sure you have Apex confirm the price. I got my car serviced there for some different parts, including a radiator and other issues it ended up being $5000. What they didn't tell me until after I picked it up is they cut out a structural piece of metal from my car in order to fit the parts in. Ever since then my car has been running like crap is out of alignment and is basically falling apart. What they should've said is we cannot put these in without cutting out a structural part of your car that supports the whole integrity of the car! Instead, they said nothing and put it in my trunk until I found it a few days later! Wtf read more

There was a comment added here that they have been "trying to reach me" which is just not true , I spoke to the owner. He sent me a few text messages back and forth and said he could not talk because he was in the hospital. Said he would follow up , but did not. He did ask what he could do to make it right so ill give them that but it was literally just to change the review. They charged me $340 to change a simple oxygen sensor (I supplied the sensors) They did not do any kind of voltage test or anything other than just replace the o2 sensors , yet they charge $150 / hour for service. Its one thing to charge by the book , its another to do half the job and charge by the book , they tried to sell me on the fact that I need new calipers which is just not true. They marked down that my oil was overfilled (by ford) but didnt bother to offer to correct it ( I would have paid them for that) I had also asked them to take a look at an exahust rattle that they said they did , and they did not. Here we are , my Air / fuel ratio is still not right. Exhaust is still rattling and you post this bs comment back that you are "trying to reach me" Id avoid this place at all costs , they are dishonest, the hourly rate is more than steeda / any other speed shop that would actually do the job right instead of employing a bunch of inexperienced kids. read more

Quoted me fairly as I have taken to dealership before and charged a fortune for less than a 5 min job. I was in Delray Beach April 3, and my car broke down (3 hours from home). I went to Apex Automotive on Linton Blvd based on some reviews I read. First of all, David was extremely kind and told me they had a full schedule, but that he would get my car looked at. He could tell how stressed I was. I was at the shop from 7:30am until after 12:30 waiting. They ran diagnostics on my car and informed me that ALL SIX fuel injectors needed to be replaced and there were none available locally, so it would be next Thursday (a week) before it would be done. Also it would cost almost $5000 for parts and labor!! This was on a 2013 Buick Enclave. I called my mechanic at home in Orlando and my husband and decided I would not leave the car for that long and with that high estimate. My mechanic stated that he found it hard to believe all 6 fuel injectors needed to be replaced and he wasn't even convinced that was the problem. I ended up paying $628 to have my car towed back to Orlando and I rented a car to drive home. After having my car today, my mechanic stated the fuel injectors were NOT the problem at all. It was a broken or worn torque converter. They will need to remove the transmission to repair it. Even with that, his estimate is $2000. I am not happy that I paid over $150 for diagnostics that were not even correct. The problem was misdiagnosed. The receipt was supposed to be emailed but I never received it. I will have the exact total on my American Express bill. I actually am requesting a refund of that amount since the diagnosis was incorrect. Again, I can't say enough about how kind David was in helping me. But I sat for 5 hours, and ended up not getting the proper diagnosis on my vehicle which I paid them to do. I am planning to also place this as a Google review. As nice as David was, I cannot give a positive review to a place that charged me to misdiagnose (what they said was) a $5000 repair bill. Apex auto is extremely unreliable and I do not recommend going to them if you have a modified truck. I made a apt with somebody for Thursday I go on explaining the vehicle has oversize rims. He quotes me a price and I say ok. I was a hour late and he couldn't get me in so we rescheduled to the next day upon arriving I explain the situation to the person working how my tires look worn. What I can do and how I can go about replacing them. The guy immediately pulls out a measuring tape and says the vehicle is to big. He just said "have a nice day" when I ask why I drove all the way out there. After that some words were exchanged. I am not sure why they didn't just say from the beginning the vehicle was to large to work on. read more

Received a print out of the results, and Zak did a good job of explaining the results to me. Comfortable waiting area, though a little small. Excellent value for an alignment, and the quality of work seems excellent. Will be taking my wife's car there as well. read more

I found Apex Automotive via Google search when I experienced car trouble on the Turnpike. I am happy it was them vs another automotive repair shop. Everyone was professional, VERY nice/polite, and provided quality work and service. When I left the shop, I experienced another mechanical issue and had to return within a few minutes. Jacob's Gist: I came to Apex to get my car serviced and I couldn't have been happier with the service, prices, and professionalism. ================= I was taking a drive to Tallahassee from Delray Beach and decided (wisely) to get my car serviced before the long haul. Family members recommended Apex in Wellington and said they were the best, but I was closer to their new Delray location so went there instead. I was able to quickly get an appointment and bring my car in to get it serviced the day I wanted to. I ended up getting my car serviced and also got new tires and an alignment. The owner was very helpful and called a few places in order to help me get the best price on the best tires for my specific car. He was also very helpful with transportation to and from my house while I waited for the tires to be delivered and then put on the car- one of the employees drove me back to my house. The prices and service I received were the best and put to rest my uneasiness about mechanics. I really felt like I was given the best price (and a very fair one) and received very good service. read more

Extremely disappointed with my experience. I brought my truck in for service and after about 7 hours received a call asking to approve all of the "necessary" fixes. Upon reviewing the "necessary charges" they quoted me almost $1000 of service charges, which included a replacement of a part my truck did not even have! I confronted the worker about it and he still insisted on replacing this part and it was only until I told him I knew my truck didn't have the part when he said it was an "honest mistake". I suggest driving right past and continuing on to one of the other fine car repair shops Delray Beach has to offer (unless you would like to pay for imaginary parts/charges). read more
