All, I had a really bad experience today. Let me explain: I arrived at DN&S at 915am. I knew this wasn't going to be good because the owner/manager (lady pictured on yelp pictures) remained on the phone while attempting to give me marginal attention. Then 3 other patrons arrived and two nail technicians. All seemed ok until a 4th and a 5th patron arrived. I requested the Deluxe Pedicure. By the time the water ran and I was finished, 25 minutes elapsed. It was the worst pedicure experience ever. It was the most hurried experience ever, and my pedicure wasn't done well. I must have it done again properly (elsewhere) tomorrow. I advise strongly to stay away from this place. The pricing structure does not allow adequate attention to detail or appreciation of this art. The technician wanted so much to take on the other two patrons that she has lost 4 (my wife, my 2 daughters and me). See pictures. Again - a really bad experience. Tim read more

Went for a fill and they turned out disgusting . Charged me for more than what he told me it was . Argued with me & told me I was supposed to know by how my nails look ? He also cut my cuticles too much that when I asked him to clean them because they burned he ignored me? Not sure what his name was but he sits on the second to last chair on the left hand wall . He is horrible . Don't not recommend this place at all. Hope this nail salon can hire better employees . Don't waste your time going , there are two other nail salons nearby. read more

I went here today for the first & last time. My usual nail place was closed today so I decided to try DN&S. I came in with a 3 week Nexgen on my nails. It wasn't until I sat down & the women started drilling the polish off when she told me there was a $15.00 charge just to take off the nail polish. Never was I charged this as what is normally done is the nails are wrapped in cotton balls and soaked in acetone & wrapped in aluminum foil for about 20 minutes. I told this to the woman but she insisted it was a "labor charge". It would have been more professional if she told me this prior to sitting down. Shady & poor business especially for a first time client. Not to mention the place was not clean with nail clippings & dirty towels. Never again. read more

I always get the best service when I come. The owners are very friendly. My pedicures are great and I always get the cutest designs on my toes. I started getting my waxing done here a few years ago and refuse to go anywhere else! I've tried other waxing services before coming to Delray Nail and Spa and was highly disappointed. This place is disgusting and has terrible service. I went to get my eyebrows there and the lady over waxed one brow and didn't finish the other. When I looked in the mirror and said she needs to make them even, she told me to leave and walked out of the room. Then i went up to a gentleman that was working there and told him my issue and he just ignores me. Then she came up to me again, and I asked for someone to fix them and she told me to get out. I never raised my voice. Never go there. At some point you'll see what I'm talking about. I've been on the hunt for an amazing manicure since I moved to delray almost 3 years ago. I finally stumbled in here by accident and figured what could it hurt to try another random place as I hadn't been happy anywhere before. Lee has consistently given me amazing manicures. I've waited to review because I wanted to make sure it wasn't a one-off and well for a couple months now they have gone above and beyond to make me happy. My nails look amazing and are healthier than ever. Also, she even came in early one day to get me in because I had to leave town. I won't go anywhere else. Totally recommend them! Bad customer service. Not very clean. Used the same gloves on my feet for a another customers hands. I scheduled an appointment for a pedicure an acrylic toes when they first opened and then I was told a specific price and then when I went in and the lady had me wait about 30 mins for my appointment and then they had me sit in water for 40 mins and she starts trying to just paint my toes I ask if she was going to do the pedicure she said no it was $35 more than what she had already said from the beginning and said that she didn't have enough time for a pedicure too even though i made an appointment. Therefore I'm not paying over $100 all together if I cannot get what I was coming here for i could have went to V &V nails instead and got cheaper. Ended up paying for my nails full price and I hated them I will have to get them redone somewhere else. Also atmosphere was very racist. read more

I typically make an appointment that suits my schedule. The owner (Lee) recommended I get NexGen nails. I did and they last for three weeks. The manicurists and pedicurists are very gentle. I do not know why my first review went missing ? Buyer Beware : I very rarely complain however, needed to vent my frustrations. I received the worst acrylic nails in my 60 years of life from this place. The very next day 2 nails fell off and . I had the 2 "fixed" however, the 3rd nail just popped off the very next day. REALLY ! There is no excuse for shoddy workmanship and even the other manicurists asked who performed my manicure. They both "knew " exactly who the culprit was and gave "The Look" to each other as knowingly, " he messed up AGAIN". It's now been nearly one week later and ALL of my nails are chipping ! They quoted me one price and when it came time to pay,......the price nearly doubled ? WTF ! They used the excuse I needed to also have "this & that done" which raised the price? REALLY ??? What a SCAM ! These acrylics which I paid over $60.00 for,.... are worthless. I even took the time to return for a 3rd time to have them fixed, however "they" were too busy to attend to me. Clean, professional, reasonably priced, and they do a fantastic job on all their services...they are perfectionists! I go to Tommy for my fill-ins, and to whoever is available for my pedicure. I've been here twice and had bad experiences both times. The first time I went they were very pushy and wouldn't let me sit with the other two people I came with when my nails were drying. The second time the were also pushy and asked me about four times if I wanted gel nails (and every single time I said no). Long story short: they're way too pushy. They're also way too expensive, I went yesterday and my nails are already chipping. In NY so many places only cost $25 or less for mani/pedis and they last so much longer. They're always suggesting things that are more expensive, they kept telling my friend that she should get a French manicure (which is more expensive than getting a color) when she kept saying no. read more

I had my nails done with the gel manicure on Thurs May 26th..... fast foward to today, Sunday May 29th, I have THREE nails with chipped and or lifted polish, my oh my, I go back to the nail salon to show the "less than perfect work"..... at the end of the appt, I was out an additional $35 dollars because "I choose to change from the gel to the NexGen"......there was absolutely NO apology or compensation for their "screw up", according to Ms Lee (not sure if this is the correct spelling of her name) needless to say " they got me" minus a tip!!! Cracked nails that eventually developed a bacterial infection!!! Do not go here!! I went here for a simple fill based on the Google reviews - what a mistake. First complaint: my technician didn't even try to fully remove the nail polish from the previous manicure. I thought that was really sloppy work, but I assumed she knew what she was doing so I let her continue without saying anything. (BTW, my previous nail polish color was dark navy and my new polish color was a light pink. The old color showed through from the underside of every nail and from many of the nail edges - making my nails look like they were always dirty). Second complaint (and most important!): she over filed every single one of my nails so that I had cracked raw spots on each nail. Two of these cracked nails have become infected and very painful. I cannot believe someone so completely inept at a relatively simple job is allowed to work anywhere! This place should be shut down!!! Stay away!!! read more

Worst manicure I have ever received! The color selection was very poor and the application was awful. This was a gel manicure and there is polish all around my nails on my skin. My pinkies are halfway painted and he manicurist did not go all the way to the edge of the nails. Needless to say...I would not recommend this place or go back here. read more

After moving here from Miami Beach and having to find a new nail salon, I was excited to find Delray Nails and Spa! Not only is the location perfect (right behind Panera Bread) but it is CLEAN and everything is modern and new. Massage chairs with headphones to listen to your music, a large TV and all the newest magazines. After going here for a year now, the service is still a 10 and the owners know all of their customers by name. I would recommend this place for sure. No appointment needed! read more

Don't go! They do a horrible job! I've never wrote a bad review on here, but I had to this time. I got a pedi and the woman painted on the skin around the toes and cut my toenails different lengths. When I asked her to remove the paint from the skin and file all nails the same length she got angry and said that is how it's supposed to be. read more
