Loved my experience at Delray Pizza. Although I didn't go crazy over the cheesesteak the drunken grandma slice I had was some of the best pizza of that style I've ever had. Can't wait to try their other stuff but WOW that drunken grandma was 10/10. Will be back 100%. Also something worth noting, I haven't tried a lot of their menu yet but it appears they make most everything in house. The streets have been buzzing about Delray Pizza for quite some time now. I've long heard tales about an inconspicuous pizza shop buried in a shopping plaza on federal, dishing out the best NY pizza in south Florida. After just one visit, I can confirm the rumors are in fact true... Delray pizza is the real deal! The drunken grandma is even better than advertised. Mozzarella, vodka sauce, and cup n char pepperoni. A beautiful marriage of ingredients, perfectly executed. The vodka sauce and the cup char are the stars of this show. My entire family tore it up! Even my wife, who is not a lover of pizza, had to submit to its legitimacy. Perhaps I should wait to try a few different slices or a few more visits before singing Delray Pizza's praises, especially a traditional NY style. 5 stars for now, we'll figure out the rest later! This evening we ordered a Alla vodka pizza + mushroom topping. It was ready to collect within 20 minutes and we picked up around 6:45 PM. When we got home, it was still nice and hot. Crunchy crust melted cheese and perfectly cooked mushrooms. Pick up this evening was very easy and quick. There was no line. The cashier took my payment and immediately my pizza was handed over to me. Their pizza is closer to Brooklyn style and always a delicious treat. Parking is slim out front so sometimes you have to walk a little bit through the parking lot to get to the location for pick up but completely worth it. read more

My family has tried many of their other flavors as well and said they are all AMAZING. I wouldn't call myself a wing connoisseur, but I do know my way around good garlic parm wings. Delray Pizza has roasted pork that you can get on pizza- and it's delicious! That with caramelized onions was very good. Personally my favorite even though I couldn't figure out how to order extra pork. My husbands favorite is drunken grandma. The pepperoni (?) is spicy enough that I didn't need to add red pepper flakes. With both delivery orders we ordered one large pizza And one slice of another flavor to try something else. The first slice sample was drunken grandma and it was good but dry & kind of old or over cooked yet tasted really good- so we ordered that the next time we ordered Delray Pizza. The second time was a white with onion "slice" to sample minus the everything seasoning. Man that was delicious for a white pizza! I would order that large except it's not my husband's preferred pizza. In the photo the white slice is smaller than it came, because I cut some off to share with my husband. Texture wise you get pretty thin, crispy chewy crust. Flavors are great. Highly recommend trying Delray pizza. Oh And I don't know if they have a way to control who gets the delivery (uber, or door dash) but we weren't thrilled that our pizza went for a uber ride somewhere south of us first to another delivery location before getting back north to us, cold and almost 25 minutes after leaving Delray Pizza - when they are only 9-10 minutes from the house. Was driving in the area and really wanted pizza by the slice. I'm from Long Island so when I walked in I was happy to see the layout. It wasn't a sit down and order sort of place it was a real pizza place. You walk in to the counter see all the pies order and sit. Amazing, you don't really find that down here in Florida. Next the staff were so kind. They were very friendly and attentive when we walked in. The pizzas all looked amazing I could've eaten all of them. Not sure if you would say it's more NY pizza or NJ but it was good. Definitely will be coming back, my husband and I fell in love with their buffalo slices. Great specials too. You also know I'm an expert at all that's Pizza.... Particularly Upside Down Sicilian Squares. Takeaways: In South Florida, this comes the closest in 33 years to Brooklyn's L&B Spumoni Gardens square slice in South Florida. The sauce is Chunky, a mix of sweet/salty, with the grated cheese with olive oil...and the dough was cooked through and through. Next time, will suggest the thinner Sicilian Grandma Crust (Only to lower my Carb intake). Overall: ....The Owners/Brothers make the Pies, so Quality is "In Check Always". Come for the "Aha" Moment. All the members were shocked and said never heard of this place. One member said the NY cheese with curl pepperoni reminds him of mom & pop in queens where he's from, I told him I had that same pizza when I was in queens on business. I and the members at smoke Inn cigar lounge rate this as top of the pizza mountain in South Florida. They charge 5% card payment fee and 5% for placing the order on the website. This is on their own site. . Card processing fees are 3%. Go ahead and recoup but don't try and make money on it. It was good, but we preferred the Sunday gravy. I'm 100% Italian and grew up in RI. I have never heard of gravy pizza, but I have to admit it was fantastic. (I grew up on Sunday gravy and this pizza nailed it) As a matter of fact before hitting the road we stuffed in a 5th slice our favorite the gravy!!! If the proprietor Josh had been more respectful, they would have gotten at least 4 stars. They have a point system that you earn $1.00 towards food for every $10.00 you spend. At least that's the way it was explained to me. I was there today with my wife and paid $27. adding to the more than $100 we have already spent there. My wife asked for a $4.00 item, 3 cookies, which we had more than earned. Josh vehemently refused and caused an embarrassing scene. I have been ordering from Delray Pizza weekly for the last 6 months but today I spent over $100 for horrible food and directions that were not followed. First we ordered some pizza slices. Meatball and carmalized onions and Chicken Parm Slice with garlic added. First thing we noticed was the lack of cheese. The meatballs were not meatballs at all but smashed. We were looking for the onions. Only half of each slice had some of this meatball mixture. The Chicken Parm Slice again had barely any cheese and we could not find the garlic or onions. We asked them to 'burn' the slices. We felt like our instructions were not followed on any items. The Garlic Bread we asked for extra garlic and oil. Neither happened. The baked ziti we asked for a side of sauce. Never received. Then we ordered a side of meatballs. 3 teeny tiny meatballs for $11. Now I have to rethink whether I go back read more
