Extremely rude and inconsiderate manager and ok food. I have gotten takeout twice from Bambini's. The first was delivery from Doordash wherein an item from my order (mozzarella sticks) was forgotten by the driver who picked up the order. Not the restaurant's fault of course, but when I called Bambini's to ask if they'd been left, the woman on the phone told me they'd simply credit me the mozzarella sticks on my next order and wrote down my name. Exactly a week later, I ordered from Bambini's again and this time went to pick it up myself. I asked if I could get the mozzarella sticks credited as I had been told the previous week. I had to wait about 15 minutes for the manager to get off the phone, and then to rudely come up and tell me that he's the only manager here, he has never seen my name and that I need to contact Doordash. Contacting Doordash would have been the correct thing to do on my end initially, but the woman I had spoken to from Bambini's assured me that they could take care of it on their end. Regardless, the manager was very rude, not empathetic at all, and did indeed make me pay for the mozzarella sticks. Given this experience I'll never go back to this restaurant. The food was ok, nothing spectacular you can't get somewhere else. Plenty of other good pizza places in the area. read more

Our pizza was missing a piece of crust, and I am a little surprised they sent it out this way. It was also undercooked which was a letdown. The mozzarella sticks (7 to an order) were loaded with salt, but the sauce was good. Overall a disappointing experience. read more

The pizzas are all made fresh each day. When you come in, you can just choose your slices and they'll keep them out for you or you can order to take away.. today we had a lunch special which was $6.95 for two slices of cheese pizza and one soda (they let us substitute a kids apple juice in place of the soda!). When the woman was taking my order at the till she asked if we wanted one of the slices cut up for the little one. This was perfect and took all of the work which I would've had to do at the table away. If I could give zeros stars I would. I found this restaurant from a food reviewer on instagram so I was really excited trying this place out. I placed my order and the lady up front told me 10 mins. 20 mins passed by and I started to notice that people who order after me was getting there food beforehand. I stayed patient because I understand how dinner rushes works. I waited another 10 mins then ask about my order. The employee told me that my order wasn't even made yet. He blamed his printer saying that my order never got printed out so they never made it. At that point I lost my appetite and didn't even want to eat anymore. The pizza in this place looked really good. They had a lot of options. Unfortunately, me and my family were just about to order and then I seen that the case that they hold the pizza in for display and to choose is completely open without a cover in the back of it. And flies were coming in from the back of the case, landing on the pizza slices and once we seen that we decided to not buy pizza from there. It's very unfortunate because all they need is maybe some electric zapper nearby and mesh or something to keep flies from flying into the case. I wish I would have gotten to try it. read more

I was picking up a cake from Gramma's Bakery next door, and when I saw that there was a pizza joint next door, I realized how hungry I was. The counter wasn't that busy, so I was able to order fairly quickly. The person at the cash register made some delicious suggestions, including new pizzas they were serving. I chose the Staten Island slice and the hot honey pepperoni slice. The Staten Island slice had a large piece of eggplant on top - it melted in my mouth and was perfectly paired with the rest of the pizza. The hot honey pepperoni slice was meaty and I just loved the juxtoposition of sweet and savory. The crust was also really tasty, which is sometimes lost amongst the sauce, the cheese, and the toppings. Sitting in a booth in the dining room, looking at all of the memorabilia around me, and enjoying a couple of slices really brought me back. I loved the food and the experience. read more

A Complete Failure of Service: One Hour Wasted, No Pizza, and a Hungry 4-Year-Old I am compelled to write this review to document the absolute worst and most disrespectful customer service I have ever encountered. What should have been a simple weeknight pizza dinner turned into an infuriating hour-long ordeal that ended with us leaving empty-handed. I placed my order for a pepperoni pizza at 6:00 PM. My order number was 1991, placed under the name Claudio, with a scheduled pickup time of 6:20 PM. I arrived exactly on time at 6:20 PM. I let the gentleman at the counter know I was there for my pickup. He told me it would be "6 minutes" and then turned away. I patiently waited. Those six minutes turned into twenty. As I waited, I could clearly see that same employee now sitting in the back area, scrolling on his phone, having completely forgotten about my inquiry. At this point, I approached a female employee for help. I explained I had been waiting for twenty minutes for an order that was supposed to be ready. She went to the kitchen area, came back, and told me the pizza was "in the oven." This gave me a brief bit of hope that it would be out soon. Another fifteen minutes passed with no pizza and no update. My 4-year-old son was getting restless and repeatedly telling me he was hungry. I had to ask the same woman again for the status. Without checking this time, she just said they were "working on it" and then busied herself with a tablet, effectively ending the conversation. Finally, after what was now nearly an hour of waiting, a third employee, another man, came to the front. I explained the entire situation to him from the beginning, letting him know how long I had been waiting with my young son. He began looking on top of the ovens, in the heated holding area where they keep the finished to-go pizzas waiting for pickup. He scanned the entire rack, but my order wasn't there. He then looked inside the actual ovens. Nothing. He came back to the counter and confirmed that my pizza was nowhere to be found. It had never been made. After an hour of being lied to, ignored, and given false updates, there was no pizza. The most appalling part was the staff's attitude. There was no apology for the immense delay, no offer to rush the order, and absolutely zero empathy for the fact that they had a customer with a hungry child waiting for an hour because of their incompetence. It felt like we were an inconvenience they wished would just disappear. We left with no food. It was a humiliating and frustrating experience. We will never return to Bambini's. read more

It's Saturday and we're in for the night and both of us are craving pizza. This happens every so often because well, being that we both grew up in "the boroughs", that's NYC (Brooklyn and Queens) to everyone reading, we get 'cravings'!! WOW just WOW!! I was in the mood for pizza and searched on Apple Maps and came across Bambini's Garden Pizzeria, my boyfriend and I weren't in the mood to sit somewhere so we decided to order for takeout. When we entered we would never imagine what came next, we ordered our pizza (we got the garden pizza with half plain cheese) and were told to give them about 20 mins for the pie to be ready. Not only is the pizza good but their prices are better! I would say cheaper than Papa John's etc. We decided to take a look around since they are directly connected to The Girls Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor. And it gets even better than this, the lady at the ice cream parlor gave us a short little tour of the back. What's in the back? More seating and a petting farm/exotic birds, we didn't get to go all the way to the back as they were closing soon, but she gave use a small run down of all the animals they have. We will definitely be back during the day time to get the full experience and because their pizza was amazing!
