We started with a special, Fiocchetti stuffed with pear & cheese in a sage butter sauce. Interesting dish, a purse shaped pasta. It was just warm with a little sauce. OK. We decided to try Bella Amici because if it's high ratings, to see for ourselves! We were immediately greeted by Rob with hospitality and a cheerful disposition. For an appetizer, Rob recommended the Fiocchetti stuffed pear and cheese. It was a generous portion of the cutest pillows of pasta filled with sweetness in a light sauce. We ordered veal francese and snapper francese. I had the snapper and it was perfectly prepared. There was so much food, I look forward to eating the leftovers! We're looking all over the place where to get a great slice of pizza and a few other things to eat, we end up coming to Bella Amici pizzeria. To begin with, they grade their own cheese, make their own dough, also a nice surprise was they make their own sausage for the sandwich. The pizza slice was nice and crunchy, and the flavor of the sauce or gravy was delicious, the sandwich was probably one of the best ones that I have eaten in a long time, the sausage was outstanding, he had a great Sauce, and great texture on the peppers and onions. I read so many great reviews about the pizza at Bella Amici that i finally had to try it. I ordered a 18 inch cheese pie with meatballs and sausage to be delivered to my home. This has to be one of the best lasagnas I have ever tried of not the best. The sauce was delicious! Every layer was perfectly done not too much meat sauce, not too much ricotta, not too much cheese. We were bummed to find our favorite pizza shop was closed on Tuesday night when we went online to order. We were pleasantly surprised to find Bella Amici had great reviews and reasonable prices. We ordered a 20" Margarita pizza and 20" Supreme pizza. For the Margarita, you can order it with sauce and without. We added the sauce. Good choice! Family is not a mushroom fan so for the Supreme, we asked if we could sub garlic instead. They did it with no problem and no extra charge. I'll reiterate again the prices. Their prices for 20" pizzas were only slightly higher than prices at other shops for 16" pizzas. The place was a small, quaint shops with a few people there. We asked the lady at the counter for some red pepper and Parmesan. They didn't have the cheese but the owner or man running the store made a point to find some for us. We didn't push, he just went out of his way to try and accommodate our request. We got the pizza home and my family tore through it like a tornado. These were huge slices since it was a 20" pizza yet my son ate four slices and my petite daughter ate three. It was a wonderful NY style pizza. Very thin crust yet very crispy. Not soggy at all. Great toppings and cheese. My only negative is not knowing where to go for pizza next time as this may have topped our favorite. Great pizza and great job guys! read more

Hidden gem!! We stumbled across this spot by chance because it's close to home, and we're so glad we did! It's a casual, mom-and-pop-style Italian place with seriously amazing food. They serve beer and wine, which is always a nice bonus at a pizza spot. We ordered the steak and pasta special, which came with a fresh salad and garlic knots. The red sauce on the pasta was incredible. It was so flavorful and clearly made fresh to order. We also shared a pizza, and the crust was perfect: thin, crispy, and a nice flavor. Couldn't resist trying the meatballs too, and they did not disappoint. The marinara sauce they use is some of the best I've had. We finished off with gelato, and every flavor we tried was delicious but the strawberry cheesecake was our favorite! They also had a whole fridge full of fresh cheesecakes. For the amount of food and drinks we had, the price was very affordable as well!! The guys working there were super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their food and customers. We had such a great time and will definitely be back, both to dine in and grab takeout. This is a nice local area spot that seemingly has a lot of regulars. When we went for dinner everyone else knew the waiter, the owner... a place where everyone knows your name. I came for the pizza, but I'd say it's more of an Italian restaurant that also has pizza. The pizza is good, but not on the same level as the great pies I've been sampling recently. A lot of camaraderie here with the patrons. The owner Mike is totally dedicated to his task at hand, diligently making pizza after pizza... you see him hard at work as you dine. So we came here before our Rob Thomas concert. I researched best Italian in Boca as I didn't want to waste time or money. So I ended up finding this place based off the Yelp reviews at a 4.8 and Google at a 4.6 which was pretty consistent. I told my wife why not. When we walked up, you can immediately tell it's a hole in the wall place. Which is not really a hole as this is Boca Raton. lol. We walked in and met our waiter I believe his name was Rob. Older man, from Long Island. We sat down and he recommended a few things as he stated Everything is home made in restaurant except the gelato. We ended up ordering the wedding soup and my buddy ordered the cheese stick. I'm going to be honest, the soup was ok. Not the best I've had, not the worst. It was just ok. All meat, no pasta balls, or whatever they're called. It was just a little under seasoned. My buddy destroyed his cheese sticks before I could try it for this review. The garlic bread that came with our order was very good as well. They were thick, not airy and dense. But very very good. I then ordered the chicken Parmesan, as my wife ordered the cheese steak. My buddy ordered stuffed shells and his wife meat balls. You can tell a lot by an Italian restaurant based off their chicken Parmesan. The chicken was thing, very crisped. You can tell that bad boy was placed or at least finished off in a pizza oven. The bread crumbs were thick, and seasoned well. It wasn't dry. The pasta that came with, was good. The marinara sauce was good. My wife cheese steak was very good as well. The bread was buttered well, and the steak was not dry. I thought it to be very good. My buddy's wife had the meatballs which made the palm beach post. I thought it was good. We then for dessert had a multitude of desserts which was a mistake lol. We ended up getting tiramisu as if you read my reviews that's my wife's favorite, along with a cannoli which again this is an Italian restaurant. We also got a cheese cake and my buddy got the gelato and his wife a Oreo cheese cake. The tiramisu was very good. Not too sweet nor bitter from the coffee. Very smooth as it was made after I guess the Italians way of making it. The cannoli also was very good. The shell we were told were made in Brooklyn. The cream was very good not too sweet. The cheese cake was good. Not too sweet and very dense. That was a brick. The Oreo cheese cake was also a solid brick and was not sweet either. Everything was very good. What I found awesome is the owner comes out to me and said he never heard someone say to waiter what would you recommend if your tip depended on it which is something I commonly will say. He thought that was cool. Then we started chatting and he told me his food was not Italian food from Italy and he's going to Port St. Lucie to go to another restaurant for a real Italian meal. I thought that was so humble of the guy to say that. Anyway, overall, I think the 4.8 is a very good resemblance of the score I'd give. Sunday afternoon, the owner was working the whole restaurant at the lunch hour and he was working hard, but was warm and able to talk with people. He knew all about pizza and was interesting to talk with. We ordered a large regular cheese pizza (New York style) and were happy that two soft drinks with free refills were included with the large pizza. He had other deals similar to that for lunch orders. The pizza came to our table very hot. It was too hot to touch with my fingers. After our taste of the pizza, we knew why this place has a phenominal average of 4..8 with over 500 reviews. Almost all five star ratings. It is as good as pizza can get. As good as the best anywhere, including NYC. Too bad that we do not live nearby in South Florida, to be able to go there any time. The pizza crust had good char and the crust had good taste. Thickness was about right. Ratio of cheese and tomato sauce was right. The last bite of the pizza that I had was as good as the first. We read so many good reviews on Yelp we decided to try this local pizzeria. Parking was in the lot so it was easy. We were greeted immediately and could sit anywhere. There was Italian music playing and a pizza maker behind the counter. Our server was quick to bring our drinks and take our order. It was a full menu along with an impressive and interesting variety of pizza selections, pastas, Italian entrees, hot sandwiches etc. We got the supreme pizza but substituted red for green peppers. It was quiet when we arrived early evening but the restaurant got busier as the night went on. Our pizza came out in good time and we really enjoyed it. I also ordered spumoni gelato and it was very good. They had a lot of good gelato choices as well as many other homemade cakes and desserts. We thought the prices were fair. Was in the mood for chicken parm takeout so thanks to Yelp, this restaurant came right up as highly rated. Did an online order and it was ready before the estimated time. The staff was friendly and the food was hot. The chicken parm was a robust portion with a ton of angel hair, however there could've been a lot more of the marinara sauce on the dish, because nearing the end the meal, the pasta was dry. I appreciated the garlic roll and Caesar salad which was included. Salad was small, but it complemented the meal as I was stuffed after finishing. Exterior just says PIZZA in the shopping center. It's a small very casual restaurant with good quality food. My dad got the lasagna Bolognese which he really enjoyed and a big portion. We ordered a 16" Pizza w/half meatball & spinach, half pepperoni. The meatballs were sliced way too thin (looked like pepperoni, see pic) but I think that's unusual. Pizza is my favorite food and Bella Amici is as good as any top pizza shops in the northeast. Had the pizza with Chicago Sausage which exceeded expectations. Salad was excellent paired with awesome store made dressing. Gelato, all flavors were great. Cannolis- as good as any bakeries in Boston or Providence Store made garlic knots delicious Desserts, especially the strawberry cheesecake all looked great. Can't wait to comeback. My wife and I had calamari, garlic toast, and an 18" Philly cheesesteak pizza. Every item ordered was a 5/5, 10/10, Perfect/Perfect rating. The calamari was fried to perfection, the garlic bread was exactly how it should be...garlicky, and the pizza was full of flavor. The crust was superb, the sauce and veggies used were full of savor and spread evenly throughout. The service was equally as superb as the owner came and explained to us what had to include Italian gelato and homemade cheesecakes. This restaurant was recently named the top restaurant in Palm Beach County on a Yelp list. I'm always a bit skeptical of lists and places that have five-star reviews especially from folks with no/few pictures and no/few friends. So, we just had to come and check it out for ourselves. It's a very casual, small restaurant located in a line of stores at a shopping center. The sign on the marquee says Pizza. The customer service alone would be worth five stars. We were greeted on entry. After we'd ordered we were told it would be a short while until we got our food. We were checked on periodically. And the owner even came by our table to make sure we liked everything and to find out how we'd learned about the restaurant. He told us they'd opened during covid, about three years ago, and that yelp readers had been very supportive of them during their beginnings. And in addition, we were given a taste of their gelato -- our choice of flavors (we tried the coconut almond) -- for being first time customers. And when leaving, we were thanked for visiting. Since they specialize in pizza, that's what we decided to order. We'd had a big and late breakfast, so we weren't that hungry. We chose their Little Italy pizza -- something different from the regular margherita. They have quite a few options with different toppings on their menu. We went with the small 14' pizza and still had leftovers (for my breakfast the next morning!). This Little Italy pizza had dollops of ricotta cheese on it with just a "swirl" of tomato sauce. It was quite creamy. The sliced meatballs were flavorful. The pizza crust was nice and chewy. We liked it. Next time, however, we'd go more with a more traditional base. They have more than just pizza -- salads and all the favorite Italian specialties and dinners. And besides the yummy gelato, there are other dessert options. I'm very glad we tried this place.
