Death by Pizza does it again! We ordered Uber Eats. The chicken tenders were a hit as usual. This was our first time ordering the veggie pizza and it won't be our last - phenomenal! The breadsticks with the dip trio is to die for, especially the pesto and the vodka sauce. Fast delivery and arrived hot. So so good!

Chicago style deep dish pizza, we ordered one type with a salad which was good to satisfy a part of three! Sometimes with deep dish pizza i feel overly heavy afterwards, granted what would i expect from something called "deep dish," but i was pleasantly surprised feeling not weighed down after this meal! pizza tasted fresh and staff was attentive- we did go early evening so it wasn't busy so i can't speak to when it is. Would go again if i was in the area!

I am a weekly customer of the DBP East location but this was my first time at the West location! It was crowded but there was a lot of seating available, indoor and outdoor! The staff was excellent! The pizza was amazing as always, very happy to see they have the same quality control in both locations! The owners were on-site as well and made sure we had a great experience! Will definitely be back!

Had a great experience here! We went due to a res commendation and it did not disappoint. There is indoor and outdoor seating but we were forced to sit inside due to the rain. We were sat right away and waited on promptly. We started with the jumbo mozz sticks which was amazing. We the each did the slice combo which was 2 slices and a soda. This allowed us to try a few flavors. We got the Mr. White as it was highly recommended to us and definitely worth the hype. I also got the enemy and my fiancé got the redrum. Everything was great and we're excited to go back.

Death by Pizza -- Or as I call it, Death by Many Succulent Flavors I went to Death by Pizza today with my fiancé and my father, and while I've been here before, this was the first time I felt compelled to put pen to paper (or thumbs to Yelp). This place is quickly becoming my favorite pizza spot in the entire Delray Beach area. They advertise Detroit-style pies, but honestly, these creations lean more toward artisan pizzas--carefully crafted, flavor-forward, and absolutely nothing like the standard New York-style slice. These are pizzas you experience, not just eat. My all-time favorite here is the Meatball Burrata: sweet, tender meatballs paired with ricotta, mozzarella, and a drizzle of hot honey. Every bite is a burst of layered flavors--rich, savory, creamy, sweet, spicy--all working together in a way that feels almost unfair to every other pizza I've ever had. Today I also tried their French Dip special, topped with shaved steak, mozzarella, pecorino, horseradish aioli, and accompanied by its own bowl of au jus for dipping. It was outstanding. The Meatball Burrata still holds the crown for me, but both were delicious. Service today was fantastic. Our waiter--appropriately named Mario--was attentive, friendly, and took our lighthearted Mario Bros. jokes like a true champ (he says he hears them a few times a day, but he still smiled through it). He kept drinks filled and checked in without hovering. The hostess was equally warm and welcoming, letting us choose our table. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious: music playing but not blasting, a relaxed vibe, and a quaint indoor space. There's also a very nice outdoor seating area; at 80 degrees and breezy today, it would've been perfect, but we opted for indoors. Death by Pizza isn't cheap--but it is absolutely worth it. This is pizza elevated, reinvented, and crafted with real thought. If you haven't tried it yet, you don't know what you're missing. Treat yourself to the Meatball Burrata and prepare for a flavor explosion. Five stars, easily. My favorite pizza place in town.

Death by Pizza is that perfect hole-in-the-wall spot you hit when you're craving a really good pie (they don't do slices) or a solid sandwich. It's not a dine-in place -- you order, pick it up, and take it home... or you end up eating it right on the sidewalk because you're too greedy to wait. I've been there. Believe it or not, I still haven't tried their actual pizza yet, but my hubby has -- so that's definitely on the agenda for our next visit. This time, we grabbed the Vodka Parm Fried Chicken à la Vodka Sando (fried chicken Milanese, vodka sauce, mozzarella, and basil on an Italian seeded roll -- $19) and the Chicken Parm Sando (fried chicken Milanese, sweet sauce, mozzarella, and basil on an Italian seeded roll -- also $19). Both were really good. Our only complaint? We wanted more sauce to dip the sandwiches into. We're greedy -- but honestly, that's just how good they were.

Love their pizza so ordered their Super Bowl package and glad I did. Of course the pizza was delicious but those Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls were amazing! Even with all the orders they had that day my order was ready on time! And glad they included reheating instructions because it was like the food was fresh out of their oven.

Death By Pizza made a splash with their downtown Delray "takeout-only" spot when they won the 2024 Palm Beach Post Reader's Choice Award for Best Pizza in Palm Beach County. So, when they opened this more traditional restaurant location people were psyched. They are good operators who clearly know what they're doing. The vibe is very casual, yet high-energy when busy, with a comfortable space indoors and a patio option. Reservations are easy to make on OpenTable. The place is well staffed--both on the floor and in the kitchen--and the menu offers a nice variety of interesting items beyond their centerpiece: Detroit-style pizzas. The pizzas are well conceived with thoughtful combinations, and they're passionate enough about their creations to state, "we kindly decline any modifications or amendments." I respect that. I skipped the salad, though it looked tempting at the next table. Beer selection is limited--bottles only--but enough to please. We ordered the ABAGNALE, topped with Ezzo's pepperoni, sweet onion, torn burrata, mozzarella, sweet sauce, basil, and hot honey. It was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked, with a lightly caramelized crust. Even though Detroit style isn't my first choice (I lean toward a thin-crust NY slice), this was pizza done on the highest level. We went on the early side and the place quickly filled up--everyone seemed to be having a great time. Service was excellent, thanks to our server Mario. If you want an introduction to their pizza, they do slices at lunchtime. Also, don't overlook their fantastic hot sandwiches (sandos) available at lunchtime as well... and on Mondays they run a $5 off Sandos promo at both locations... so there's no excuse not to give them a try. Best to sign up on their website to receive emails, and they will alert you to the specials, give you the right code to get the deals, etc. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My husband is obsessed with pizza, so he bookmarked this spot, we drove 50+ minutes, and waited 45 minutes for a table (true commitment). Even take out was a 35 minutes wait! The wings and pizza were great, one of the best pizzas I have had in the palm beach county area. The place was slammed with people! We ended up sitting outside, which was fine, but so many hungry bugs! Luckily they gave us a table fan to help ward them off! For drinks, they offer a few select wines by the glass and bottle. Husband loved it. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. I wish they had a bar to sit and wait but I get that it's not that kind of place! Great for families!

This was my first time at Death by Pizza. We met friends for an early dinner, around 5:30. There were plenty of open tables inside, but they were all reserved. One of the hostesses was not particularly friendly, but I guess we all have bad days. We had to sit outside, and it was pretty hot. There are rotating fans that help, but until the sun goes down it's uncomfortable. They also have bug fans for flies. Maia was our server. She knew the menu backwards and forwards. She was nice and pretty attentive. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls as an appetizer. There were two egg rolls cut in half, so we were each able to try them. They were pretty good. My husband ordered the Kobra style wings. He said they were flavorful. He would try the Liquid Gold next time. Two of us ordered the smaller portion of the Short Rib Pappardelle. It was delicious, but very small. The wings were reasonably priced, however, the starter and pasta dishes were overpriced for the portion sizes. The pizza is Detroit style. There are no modifications to the pizzas, which was fine. We tried the Vodka Roni pizza. The crust was delicious, but we weren't crazy about the vodka sauce. The bathrooms were gender neutral and single stall and were clean.

Ambiance is open space with open an open kitchen. Not a huge restaurant so o highly recommend making a reservation. They have both inside and outside seating. Now to service, they have plenty of staff, the kitchen has numerous people working and keeping up a very healthy pace. The kitchen from what I was able to see is very clean. Now to the food. Im a New Yorker and one who loves pizza. This was amazing. This is a Detroit style pizza so not thin or thick crust but a nice in-between. The dough is cooked to perfection with a golden edge of cheese and nice crisp. We had the Ultimate Salad to start which was a beautiful size and filled with salami, provolone, roasted peppers and heirloom tomatoes with a italian vinaigrette dressing. The dressing was notnover powering and complemented the freshness of the salad. In addition to the salad we had the Roni Jabroni and the Vodka Roni pizza, both were packed with flavor and pepperoni, when I say packed every inch was covered.

First with the name like death by pizza you must try it just because of the name and I must say it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time quality vegetables on top of my vegetarian pizza. The crust was delicious. We had a DBP Salad which was delicious. We shared it by four people. Everything is large portions the vegetarian Detroit style pizza was outstanding. I said that again we also had the spaghetti and meatballs delicious and it was a birthday and they gave us a complementary chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream OMG worth it just to celebrate your birthday there the waitress Daniela was excellent she was friendly. She was helpful. She was accommodating even when we went in the front door reservations Yes, they do have reservations. This people at the welcoming desk was really welcoming. Very happy to accommodate us. We ate outside because it was loud inside. Parking no problem Make sure you make reservations. This place is going to be so crowded. The more with word-of-mouth, they do have takeout if you live in the area.

We had a good lunch here -- although it took over a half an hour to get any of our food. The restaurant is in an unusual location off 441 in an area with not much around it except a Wawa gas station. But we'd been here before when this spot was a different pizza place. This one is way better. The restaurant was full when we were there and there was a large group of women at a long table. We took the only open table. Because it was so busy, it took a while to order and the server and kitchen were overwhelmed. When we finally got our ultimate salad, it was wonderful. Chock full of tasty bits: iceberg lettuce, salami, provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, and tomatoes in an Italian vinaigrette dressing. We left off the onions. We both loved the salad. We took a portion of it home. After sharing the salad, we shared a meatball sub. The meatballs were tender and delicious and topped with cheese. The tomato sauce was non-acidic. And the roll was crisped in the oven. The only downside was that the bottom bread got quite soggy from the sauce, so there was no way to eat it but with a knife and fork. We didn't get their pizza although the couple seated next to us enjoyed it. And told us so. They have a number of different kinds by the slice (square?). I'm not a fan of Midwest pizza, but even so, there are plenty other appealing items on their menu. Even the wings looked great. It's a little far from our usual frequented spots, but we'd definitely try them again if in the area or just passing by...

The vegetables were delicious - we had sides of sautéed spinach ($9) and charred Brussels sprouts (listed as an app at $14). A meatballs starter ($16) was also enjoyed - with a dollop of whipped ricotta in the center. Two of us had pasta entrees. The spaghetti could best be described as "industrial" or "so so" (as one dining companion said). The chicken in the chicken Marsala was "very good". The butterflied shrimp in the parmigiana was so thickly encrusted with fried breading, that the shrimp was completely overwhelmed by mouthfuls of crusty batter that adhered to the shrimp. It was hard to appreciate the shrimp at all in there. They were huge (in fact, they looked like small breaded chicken filets). But the excess of breading and batter overwhelmed the shrimp. Also, stomach not feeling so great later. I write this from the throne. The server had the manager come over to speak to us, and he insisted that's just how it's made and that was that. (He offered to have a few more shrimp cooked up but the meal was done at that point). $32 was a lot to pay for mediocre pasta and breading with shrimp. On the fair side, when asked about the shrimp parmigiana vs another dish, the server said that she would recommend the shrimp because there would be more to take home after - which was not our goal for dinner. For my meal I would give it no more than 2 stars but my companions enjoyed theirs more (despite the "so so" spaghetti), so I upped to 3. Will not be eating here again.
