Very unprofessional. Very rude. Made some calls around for quotes on a rear window. First he quoted me over the phone for a brand new window. It was too high So i just thanked him and hung up. About an hour later i get a call back and he says i can get you a used window for 150$. So i agreed and he said he would have it in about three hours. Three hours go by i decide to call him since i havent heard back from him because i needed to hurry and get the window fixed due to other appointments that day/week. He said he didnt have it yet and he would for sure call me. I waited and he finally got the window. He told me to come in with the car before they close. I came and he starts to work on the car. He knocks out completely the back window then proceeded to put on the window he got. I went to ask if he was done and he said " it didnt fit " . So i asked ok thats fine what will you do about my window. Really honestly i said that expecting he would say something back about when he will get the correct one. But instead he looks at me and shrugged his shoulders. So then i said " so you knocked out my back window and basically arent going to do anything about it " and he got quiet. So i called my bf over and told him what was said. He basically gave him the same dumb face he gave me. While hes saying he wasn't going to do anything he proceeds to clean the shop as if he was trying to hurry and leave ( which he was ). I guess he thought i was just going to leave but i did not. It wasnt fair i came there with a back window , and he tried to send me off without one. Then goes , you told me the wrong year of the car and tried to blame me. Mind you , i been calling around all morning for a window. Why would i not know what kind of car i own. So i call the police. After i called the police he goes " so do you want me to tell you what i can do to help or not ". " Well yeah because I originally asked that in the first place and you shrugged your shoulders " then he proceeded to tell me he would get a new one for me. But tried to charge me for the brand new window. Which was totally unfair because that wasnt the price that made me want to come to you in the first place. At that if you write a review you get money off so i was really planning on saving some money. i thought i came across a good deal. He stated to me " i dont care what you do i have a lawyer " . Because i told him i would take him to court for this. So before everyone gets there he brought it down to the original price he quoted to get me down there. But then stated i cant use the coupon because he is already taking a money loss but it totally wasnt my fault. He wouldnt have had to go buy a new window and sell it to me for the quoted price if he would have listened to the make and year. And if you misheard or misunderstood me you could have reasked or even double checking yourself before starting. I knew that was the case because he asked how to spell my name like 20 times when the police came and i asked for a written estimate. ( still spelled it wrong after repeating myself several times. ) anyways it comes it picking up the car. I had to be there the next morning to get the car. I go to pick up the car and inspect it. Everything looked good. So i asked him what was the warranty. He told me but it was too fast so i asked him to repeat it. He didnt want to tell me the warranty on it again so i can write it down since he stated they didnt have it on paper. Instead he says " i been doing this 18 years. I know what im doing ". Well i mean if you knew what you were doing you wouldnt be sitting here talking to me now. I stood there until he repeated himself and then i asked his name. He pointed to the wall to where his cards were and said "its on the card" in a rude way. I pay him and as i walk off he goes " yeah and dont come back either " ha ha ha. Believe me i wont. I believe the whole thing was planned in a way because he seen i was young and thought he can get over on me and get more money out of me. Never been treated so rudely in my life. Update : the pictures were added because of what was said. I did come into his shop with a window there. Yes it was shattered but i was still driving the car around like this. The other picture shows what he tried to send me off with before i called the police. I never wanted anything free. I wanted the price that he quoted me over the phone to get me to come down there instead of trying to charge me like $300. This guy is not professional at all. My mom and boyfriend yes was there. Yes the police asked me to leave because everytime he told a lie i jumped in. He even told the police " i guess my data base messed up " trying to blame his "system" for the wrong year. But before he was trying to blame me. I called the police trying to get something done about my window. Because it was not right he started the job and didn't finish. Called for repair of windshield rock chip and was able to go to their shop and have it done right away. Discounted price for cash, friendly and knowledgeable service. The repair itself took about 15 minutes and it was explained while it was being done. I had to wait a little while but given that I didn't have an appointment that was fine. I would definitely go back if I needed another auto glass repair and recommend them to anyone needing one. I had called another place closer to my location but they quoted double the price and couldn't do it right away anyway. read more
