From the minute Fernando answered the call, to the moment the window was replaced this was an excellent experience! They accommodated me with a special request to remove the window on one day (allowing me to repair my dashboard that was damaged by the sun over the last few years) and returning on a different day to replace the window without charging me any extra for the multiple trips. Fernando even removed additional pieces of trim that he knew would be needed in my planned dashboard repair. I hadn't thought of removing these pieces of trim and would have damaged them whilst making my repairs. He then replaced them on his return visit again without charging me any extra charge! I have been having Fernando repair rock chips on my cars for years and does great work. I had a rock chip on my new car that turned into a long crack after a couple days of hot and cold weather. Fernando stopped by my house to take a look and said that the windshield would need to be replaced for the crack was too long. He asked if I had insurance, I told him that I did. He told me that honestly it would be better for me to go through insurance I would just have to pay for the deductible which was a lot less than the cost of glass. Watch out for these guys on the road. They tailgated me in heavy traffic, tried to pass me but didn't because (surprise) there wasn't any space. When I finally did let them pass they didn't speed up at all. Then I watched them tailgate someone else within literally 6 ft at 80+ mph. They had multiple windshields in their truck so I suspect their quality is lacking. If they drive dangerously while advertising their business, they probably treat their customers similarly. read more

I needed to replace the windshield on my 2019 Subaru Outback. I reached out to Safelite, 50/50 Extreme, and Subaru. They quoted me prices ranging from $800 to $1,300. Each offered new glass, complete installation, and recalibration of the "smart glass". Fernando at Auto Glass Specialists quoted $300 for the same product & services. I was skeptical but I made an appointment to replace the windshield. Fernando met me at my office parking lot. He pointed out that 2019 Subaru's have front facing cameras just behind the rearview mirrors. These cameras don't need recalibration with a new windshield. Recalibration is only necessary with newer Subaru models. No one else explained that to me. Fernando did excellent work and I saved $500 - $800. Highly recommend this service. read more

Dump truck cracked my windshield, I called 2 places and got quotes that were a little more then I was hoping. I talked to my dad and he recommended this company after using them for 2 of his vehicles with no problems, and the best price. Had my passenger side window smashed in Berkeley recently. I called a total of 6 auto glass places and this place offered the best price. They were able to schedule me in same day. Fernando came to my house and worked on it in my driveway. He was quick and did a really fantastic job. He was extremely thorough with the glass clean up/vacuuming and he also went the extra mile and cleaned up some trash I had under my seat which he did not at all need to do, I was surprised by how clean it looked when he finished! Woke up today got ready for work. Get outside to my car and my driver side window was broken. Glass everywhere. I called a place in town and it was $145 to fix not a bad price... but my driver seat and the arm rest of my door filled with glass. I didn't know where to even begin to start cleaning it up. I do an online quote and it was $300-$350 for Safelite auto glass. I googled more mobile glass repair shops and found this one. I called and gave my year make and model of my car. They said it would be about $145. That's if you pay cash. If you pay card they charge tax. I couldn't get to the bank so I ended up paying $162.55. The man that quoted me said they could have some one out between 3:00 to 5:00. He told me about the card tax on the phone which was nice because most people might try to hide that and overcharge later. Chris called around 1:30 and said he would be there in 30 minutes. (An hour earlier than I expected which was great because I was late for work already) he showed up about 30 minutes later. I gave my keys it took about an hour. He texted when he was done. When I got outside the car was cleaned of all glass on the seat and floor and on the ground. Totally exceeded my expectations. Paid with my card and was on my way to work. Made an overwhelming terrible experience less difficult. Chris did a great job would definitely recommend this company. Thank you Chris for your excellent service! read more

I called on Saturday to get a replacement windshield. They set me up with the first appointment on Monday morning. Chris arrived at 9:15 and the job was completed by 10:30. They are offering a 25% off promotion this month so my bill was only $180 with the glass and labor included. I had checked other places and Safelite wanted $400 plus tax.
