I love Bingo! This is the place to go and it is no joke. Delta Bingo is a place for hard core, serious bingo players who carry several different colored daubers in their specifically designed dauber bag. Oh yes, a bag for daubers. It was my first time at Delta Bingo and boy was it a dramatic night. Ages ranged from 18-80+ with people yelling obscenities at the caller...he was definitely having an off night. They grumble when people get close to getting Bingo or worse, when someone calls Bingo by mistake. Guilty as charged, I made a rookie mistake and called Bingo! Quickly realizing I did not have Bingo I had to duck so trash wouldn't be pelted at me. I think I just got the evil stinkeye. There's early bird, regular, bonus and jackpot rounds. Each game has different patterns such as regular/4 corners, 2 lines, picnic table, double postage or my personal favorite crazy "X". Numbers are called fairy quickly, so you need to have your dauber in hand and ready to go. If you've got the munchies you can go to their snack bar or bring bags of snacks like our table did and cram your face with potato chips, candy, cookies and caffeine as you frantically daub away the numbers in your board. Cash only, but approximately $20 will give you three hours of fun and definitely some entertainment. Oh and occasionally people will yell, "Balls!" It's another side game, but I have yet to figure it out. Perhaps they just like saying balls. read more

I'm not a judge of good bingo halls since this is the first I've been to, but for a gaming venue this is by far all sorts of amazing. No prentention, no frills yet complete bingo hall with rows upon rows of tables with chairs lining either end for all players. And if that wasn't enough, the tables are circled by a line of video poker machines for additional gaming pleasures. The games themselves are well-organized (be sure to pick up the schedule for that night's line-up) as well as FAST. Be careful about too much socializing as they call out the numbers fast. At least they display the balls on the video monitors before they call them out in addition to the target pattern of the game. They sell food and drinks at the concession stands though you can bring your own food and drink if you please. They also sell bingo dobbers for newbies like me who didn't know better to buy it cheaper elsewhere (though $2-3 for a dobber that lasts forever isn't too bad). Though I'm not sure why some veteran players would want a rainbow collection of dobbers for their games.... Can get kind of intimidating, but once you get used to the atmosphere and the game you can't help but get addicted to the game and overall have a great time. read more

Bingo is fun, great for people watching. We went for midnight bingo, got there for early bird games which start at 11p. For $20 you get to play from 11p til' ~230a. Get a chuckle when someone yells "BALLS" and the caller says "BALLS ON 22". Get a giggle when the people walk around selling bonus games "Quickie, Bed Bugs, Balls". Feel disgusted in society when you see someone win a $250 game and they don't get excited because they spent double that on cards. Tip: No Alcohol allowed inside, get an ice chest, fill with beer, drink in the parking lot. Watch out for the man though. read more

I went to Delta Bingo for the first time this past weekend and I had an awesome time! Granted, I had never played bingo in a Bingo hall before, so I can't compare to anywhere else, although I'm not sure if there's anywhere else to play Bingo in the DC area (except my kids' school and at churches). Anyways, $25 got me 3.5 hours of Bingo, which seemed to me a really good deal. I went on a Sunday for the 1pm early bird special and the 2pm regular games. The place was full but we had no problem reserving a spot for the 6 of us. Most of the games are not straight-line Bingo, but there are boards all over which show the winning combinations and also the numbers called. There are also TV screens so you can see the next number about to be called, so it's easy to keep up. What else...oh yeah, BALLS! There are employees who walk around with bonus bingo cards for sale and the names include "balls", "monkey in the middle" and "double donkey down". It brought out our inner 12-year-old sense of humor. No alcohol on the premises, but they serve lots of snacks including sodas, chips, wings and chili dogs. You can bring food in as well. I loved this place! The hall is huge and lots of room to spread out. Good selection of food and drinks, too. I liked that they had slot machines! Went for date night and we thought we'd get to play soon after we arrived, but we didn't realize we had bought boards for games two hours from arrival. So we did have to kind of wait around a lot, which I didn't mind. But my husband was not a fan and thought they should have told us more clearly what to expect. read more

Have been coming to this establishment for 25 plus years. Was there a week ago and was so disappointed. Evening session games only paying $100 really. I was royally ticked was not expecting that, had a nice crowd sold like 6 or 7 boxes of the $1000 pull tabs amazing. Then I join the live bingo that we Marylanders can play for free if we filled out the form. But of course this wasn't a free game this game had 2 parts and paid out $40,000 unbelievable. So I've gone to this place 3 times before writing a review. Dragged some friends out on a Wednesday night after happy hour. I will say in advanced, do not get turnt or you will not be able to keep up! This place is located off of 198 just before you get to the Walmart area. If you aren't paying attention, it is easy to miss it. I had no clue what to expect when I walked in but geez... this is indeed a BINGO hall! Since we went to the BINGO session at 8pm ( For newbies, I would recommend getting there 45 mins in advance), the cost to play is $22. This included the regular bingo boards and specialty bingo boards. Each pack has between 10-12 games and 9 boards each. So 9 chances to win each game! Honestly I cant play more than that at once but I see people with their entire space covered with boards. My brain is too slow. lol Each session last about 2.5 hours. There is a snack bar with cheap bites. Beware.. the lady (on Wednesdays) behind the counter can be a lil aggressive. :-/ Either way, this is a fun spot to be. I wont say how much, but myself and 2 other friends have won! I will be back! read more

We came here for two friends birthday. What can you say when the only bingo you ever played in your life before the delta daily double bingo was in elementary school? It was more than interesting :P These people are serious! We first pulled up to this place on a Saturday night and the parking lot was PACKED! I thought there wouldnt be much ppl spending their Saturday night playing bingo. I was wrong. We circle this lot for like a good 10 min before we found someone leaving. Than we came in to pay for our game. I remember it was cash only place. Then we had to walk around the bingo hall over and over until we found a chair to sit together we couldnt even sit with our group cause the place was crowded lol. So I advise anyone going to come earlyyyy! Also watch the bingo board if you get lost...I got lost playing bingo a few times. All I have to say it's not elementary school bingo =) read more

I had the worst experience at delta bingo in laurel Maryland . The night manager is very rude and distrustful .Spent thousands of dollars and when I won bingo she redused to pay me even though her staff told her I won.Will find some place else to spend my money. Today a player yelled Bingo and the caller didn't hear it. They announce before each session that the caller has to hear you and if they don't and they go on, you won't be paid. So the manager came out and ruled the players would share the prize. Excuse me, but if you're going to make and announce rules, the manager should enforce them. To make matters worse, the manager reprimanded the caller in front of players so everyone could hear. Totally unprofessional! You make a bad decision as a manager and then compound it by reprimanding an employee within earshot of customers? That sucks! And he's not the only caller to do this. It is very hard for the callers to hear with the machine running. The management needs to enforce the rules AND not reprimand employees within public earshot. Also, to be fair, Steve misses more Bingos than anyone! He's still there. read more

I've frequented this bingo hall since 1984 and find it to be one of the most honest halls around. For the price you can win alot of money (that is if your lucky) The pull tabs they sell on the floor are sooooooo addictive but can also be very profitable. One thing is please don't forget to TIP your table clerks, they work hard keeping up with their customers and the TAB sellers (most of them) definately work hard and put up with alot of (shall I say........STUFF) from customers. I have been at Delta Bingo and gaming for 30 years and they have gotten outrageous with their food prices. It's not the best in town, but it will do if you are too hungry or don't have a car to go get something. With Wawa and Royal Farms coming soon, seems like they would charge less for food. They have lost so much business because customers refuse to purchase the food. They charge $5.00 for a hot dog, this doesn't even include chips or soda. A cup of popcorn cost $3.00. They are worse than movie prices. A bar of candy $2.00? So now, people walk to the service station and get drinks and food. They might as well close the snack bar down. The people who are making the prices don't live here, so they don't know. Somebody needs to hip them quick before people stop purchasing anything. The snack bar used to be over flowing, now you might get 10 people a day out of three sessions. Sad, but true. read more

I had my first experience playing bingo here the other night and it was a-ok overall. The worst part of my experience here was ordering food in their small restaurant. We waited a good 25 minutes for 2 hamburgers, fries, and a grilled cheese sandwich. Our food sat on their back counter by the fry cooker while the cook was nowhere to be seen in the back of the kitchen. While the line started at one end and worked its way toward the cashier we were then sent back to start of the line to wait for food and no one could tell where the line started and ended.. you would've thought the line ended where the condiments were by the cashier but that just wasn't the case. We got into the restaurant before there was even a line and people after us were somehow getting their food before us. It was as if the cook could only cook one order at a time. Once we finally got our food they had run out of burgers. Overall though the food was decent. Also if you want a free dabber they do have a discount coupon on this app when you check-in. The guy announcing the bingo numbers wasn't nearly loud enough for anyone to hear and people who had more experience playing bingo didn't like this either. It was a little tricky for me to figure out how to play bingo overall but thanks to people who knew what they were doing at my table I was able to figure out. read more

Came here last Saturday and had the best time. My husband and I were looking for something different to do and decided to go old school with some Bingo. We told the cashier this was our first experience and she was very kind. She explained how the games work, the pricing, the payouts, and the times everything started. We spent 20 bucks a piece and made our way into the huge playing area. We sat in the front near one of the televisions that broadcast the balls being pulled and by the time the game started, there had to be 300 people inside. The games were quick and exciting and my husband and I kept on saying how we couldn't believe how much fun we were having. You play 9 cards at once per game so by the end of the night, you're tired! It's hard to be focused for so long (we played from 7-10:15). Early bird payouts are $100 per game and regular games (starting at 8 are all at least $300 and vary up to $10k!) It was so much fun, we're already talking about going back. I think we have a new hobby! PS- You can bring in food/drink, but no alcohol. My wife and I were going to the DMV area to a football game and because she doesn't like football I asked her what would she like to do while we are there. She said 'BINGO". Now mind you me or my wife have NEVER played bingo other than in elementary school. To make her happy I agreed and immediately started searching online for a spot. Delta Bingo was about a 50 minute drive in horrible traffic from our Springfield hotel and I thought about turning around numerous times because of the traffic. Anyway once there everything was worth the drive. The employees and the regulars that were sitting close to us were helpful. Lucky I read the review with the rules and they were dead on and extremely helpful LOL. We had a great time. We went on a Thursday night and got there about 10 minutes before the 8:00 game started. Still enough time to buy our cards, daubers, find some seats and put in an order for some onion rings. Oh yeah.... my wife said that they were the best onion rings she has ever had in her 24 years of life!! (add another 20 to that). read more
