Having an RV is an adventure in more ways than one. We bought or RV new and love it although there are always something that needs addressing down the road you might say. Our RV only had a few problems so we feel lucky for that. The TV went out first thing and had to, per the manufacturer go through the supplier which was not to bad, but taking it to have it fixed was something else. So I call an RV dealer that I was told could take care of the TV and was given the run around by them but finally resolved with fortitude and driving back and forth to the dealer down in Nipomo. Should of bought a new better TV! So when the heater didn't work basically from the day I bought it, same thing, fortitude! Run around from the Manufacturer, told to take the RV to Sky Rivers and was told yea, since you didn't buy the RV here we can look at it in Nov.!? So hoping for the best I called Delta Liquid Energy and to my surprise they treated me with respect and no run around. Got my RV right in with an appointment, they detected the problem, contacted the manufacturer, repaired the problem and explained to me what had been wrong with the unit and got me back on the road with minor costs! I replaced my supplier with delta energy once my previous tank ran out. The sales tech worked with me on this and was patient as the gas was not running out as fast as I had anticipated. On the day of delivery, the two techs showed up and were extremely professional. They first looked at the site and determined the best approach to remove the old tank and install the new one. They hooked up the tank and checked every piece in the house to make certain it was operating properly after checking the pressures. We've used Delta for over 10 years. Why? Well, the former owners of our property used them and we didn't see a reason to change. However, you never know how really good a company and their people are, until they are tested, and wow, were they up to the job on Christmas Eve. Yes, their driver, new to our property got stuck in some heavy mud, but between the driver's logical solutions for future deliveries and Mack, his supervisor's quick response and cooperation with West Coast Towing (the best) they turned this very difficult afternoon into a textbook teamwork "get 'er done." I purchased a new stand by generator that runs on LPG. I called the office, they had Rob Greene make contact. He came out & did a site visit with me & listened to my concerns. A COD customer, we requested gas when the tank became empty. The supply that usually lasts 2 mo., ran out after 3 weeks. Upon requesting delivery offering payment upfront for it, Delta refused saying: (we) "should have known before it emptied" & attempted to charge a $90 fee to deliver a week later, leaving us without heat and hot water for 7 days. The company's voicemail says, "we are committed to the highest quality service & even provide 24/7 emergency fuel delivery," but our experience could not be more diametrically opposed. One admin in the office, requested a form with our credit card and promised to make sure gas was delivered the next day. We complied and returned the form. Expecting a truck delivery time, instead we received an email from Greg Schultz, sales,with "new terms" for a contract on an iPhone. 100% out of gas, we agreed to the terms via email, requested scheduling again & asked about the new terms and why the contract was changing. We phoned the owner of the company Robert Jacobs, for help to schedule delivery. The receptionist told us, "he will not talk to you." When calling the sales person back, he refused to deliver or say why and hung up on us. We are still out of gas. Have no hot water or heat and the temperatures at 40 degrees. We have no option to run our energy, as our property runs on propane. A family run company, the management of this company seems to have some kind of personal or family dysfunction issues that have badly affected their ability to relate with their customers - at all. We have a contract with them, their tank is on our property, we want to pay them, but they just cannot seem to get past an odd internal dysfunction to provide service. read more

Our experience with Delta RV could not be better. We were having a tough time finding anyone to do electrical work on our complex systems on our 2004 RV. Seemed few and far between in our area in SLO County. We heard good things about Delta from locals. We had to wait 6 weeks to schedule it in. Finally we were able to get it in. Matt (the mechanic/technician) was willing to check it out. After a week into it he called to say he had it figured out. We picked it up and Matt went over everything he had done thoroughly. He never treated us like we were RV idiots...listened to us, and was patient to listen and respond to all our requests. Matt is a really top drawer mechanic. He was like a Physician and Surgeon with our Rig. And the best news is he didn't waste a bunch of time charging us for his diagnosis. He knew right where to go. He's also a really fun guy and has a great personality. !!!!!! Definitely recommend Delta RV in Paso. Nice bunch of people in the office too! read more

Are you kidding ??? ATTENTION SANTA MARGARITA-NORTH SLO COUNTY residents: Our current property has had a DELTA LIQUID ENERGY PROPANE TANK and Delta Liquid Energy residential-account...for more than 25 years. Clearly CUSTOMER LOYALTY, earning, or maintaining their clients business.... is something they don't care about...and clearly " a thing of the past." Our last and most recent PROPANE bill from DELTA...was $.86 MORE per gallon than their nearest competitor's regular-everyday propane-price-per-gallon......so as one-might imagine, I called to inquire as to WHY? During my telephone dialog... I offered DELTA an opportunity to respond, possibly re-negotiate and even-more-concerning an opportunity to "save a customer-account" that was at-risk of going elsewhere. While on-the-phone with DELTA I asked the Manager.. If sitting at an intersection in his own vehicle, and gasoline was $.86 more per gallon at the X-gas Station to his left...than it was at Y-gas Station to his right....why would ANYONE go to X-Gas station and pay $.86 cents more per gallon for fuel? As such, I candidly asked DELTA if they'd be willing to renegotiate our current terms, conditions and pricing per gallon for Propane. THE ANSWER WAS SHOCKING. They simply said they didn't CARE what their competitors were charging...and they had ZERO interest in reducing, matching or compromising on price in any way. The manager clearly stated..."Why should we cut-into our profits because someone else is selling for less, followed by his answer to my inquiry..."THERE IS ZERO CHANCE we're going to reduce our rates for ANY reason, TAKE IT..or go somewhere else !!" GUESS WHAT !! We WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. WE LEFT DELTA within 72 hours and changed providers to WESTERN. I'd highly recommend others do-the-same. Yes, we paid our current DELTA due-bill...in full prior to starting service with WESTERN... and once paid-in-full..the gas remaining in Delta's tank now belonged to us and since it was paid-for-in-full....we had Western transfer that gas from the old-Delta tank into our new Western tank... which we'd learned prior to, was absolutely LEGAL to do-so. We called Delta 24 hours later and closed our Account...and requested they come and pick-up their 25 yr old propane tank ASAP. Amazing, I was forced to call DELTA repeatedly to removal their old tank over-and-over again. !! They finally "came and picked up their 25 yr old tank 4 weeks later HOWEVER...TODAY WE GET an EXTORTION bill from DELTA...for an ADDITIONAL sum of $300 (with no explanation), only the total sum immediately due along with an attached, yellow-highlighted-small-print page..from a previously signed contact. Apparently what we had done constituted "a breach of contract terms and conditions." Talk about GET'n all BUTT HURT? I'm always amazed with people (or companies)..whom have more-EGO than good-business sense !! I can't imagine what THEIR LEGAL-Attorney fees and wasted time will end up costing them in-the-long run, but if they fail to disregard this ludicrous amount they claim we owe...we'll file a Counter-Suit. Can't imagine what it will cost them in time, legal fee's, Attorney representation or other...in defending their position in a court-of-law...but trust me, if for NO OTHER REASON than PRINCIPAL..WE ARE MORE THAN WILLING to spend 10x that amount (more if necessary)..to KICK THEIR ASS in COURT over "principal" and give them the wake-up call they deserve. !! WARNING: When it comes down to ethics, earning and maintaining a positive relationship with your client-customers or HOW ANY COMPANY is-to-be viewed by it's audience.....DELTA LIQUID ENERGY is the WORST ! WARNING: READ Delta's sneaky small PRINT on their contract...but MORE IMPORTANTLY....WHY would ANY rural property owner or tenant ...DO business with DELTA.....or continue doing business with Delta.....when they have an OPTION. TRUST ME.... WESTERN PROPANE services Santa Margarita..and most-all of SLO's North Rural County...and offers far better service and customer service...charges a lesser-per-gallon price for Propane than Delta..and has a proven track-record of responsible-intelligent Business-ETHICS, PRINCIPALS, VALUES and practices. What EVER happened to "earning your customers business, least of all maintaining it?" Never-Ever AGAIN will I do ANY business of ANY kind with Delta !!! I recently changed propane providers as my former propane company outgrew the hometown customer service that is important to me. I switched to Delta Liquid Energy after reading up on various propane companies that service the Central Coast. The service that they provided me during the transition was phenomenal. During this incredible challenging time, I was provided customer service beyond my expectation. I sent an email inquiry and without delay I heard from Rob Greene, District Sales Manager. He was very knowledgeable and helped me through the process of switching companies which led to more savings for me. My husband was so impressed with the removal and installation of the new tank. The installer was efficient and also very courteous. Jesus, who delivered the propane was also friendly and was happy to be of service. When I see him delivering to others on my street, he always has a friendly wave. I had occasion to call the office, and again, I received professional and courteous customer service. Customer Service is incredibly important to me and I received it from all I dealt with. So I am incredibly happy with the hometown customer service and I also saved a lot of money. I have been a long time customer, over eight years in Paso Robles and Sylmar. When I took a Job in Pasadena and moved my trailer to Sunland, I was happy to be able to use a local business from home. However I am less than pleased with your new management at the Sylmar location. I went there last Friday to fill my tank before heading home to Paso Robles. Upon arriving I was told that the lot person had stepped away and would be back in five minutes. I waited for ten minutes and then went in to the office to inquire if anyone else there could fill a tank. I was again told he would be back in five minutes, well I certainly did not believed that. I asked can anyone else fill a tank here and was told no. I was a little shocked, is that not what your business is? Filling tanks? It was lunch time so I am assuming that the Lot person went to lunch. Having been a Manager more than once in my career I can assure you that I would have known how to back up a position, or I would have volunteered to go and buy lunch if my employee would stay if I had no back up. Needless to say after all of this and the time that I went to the office etc. he was still not back and I went elsewhere to fill my Propane. Now by the time I got on the freeway in LA instead of my three hour commute I had a five hour commute. Thanks Delta, but from now on I will go elsewhere for my propane. read more

I used this company for over twenty years. Always paid the bill on time. After retiring I asked if I could pay the bill over the next 3 months since they require that you purchase a minimum of 125 gallons which was about $400。 I was told that I had to pay in two payments. That was the policy. Despite being a loyal customer they would not work with me. I found another local company who is great and has a payment plan that does not deplete my budget and they are cheaper. The driver Dave is great but the customer service is cold. read more

I want to thank Martha and Sabine at Delta Liquid Energy, for always being polite and helpful. I have been a customer for 21 years now and this business if very professional and I love their customer service staff, as well as my driver Jesus. I went in to pay for my propane the other day and Sabine was on the phone with a really aggressive person who I could hear screaming at her over the phone! I was in shock and felt so bad that she has to deal with such jerks! Even after being verbally abused by a Delta Liquid Energy customer she was able to smile and help me pay my bill. She explained to me that people get very angry during the winter time because the run out of propane and are unable to pay on time. Before writing this I saw that a few people have written reviews about their bad experiences. Like I said, 21 years a customer! And the customer service representative have NEVER been rude or unhelpful. The ladies who work there are always so kind and polite and it just baffles me that people would scream at them the way I saw when I was there. No wonder customers get hung up on by the staff. If anyone screamed at me because they didn't pay their bill on time, which is absolutely NOT the staff's fault, I wouldn't just hang up on them I would tell them to take their empty propane tank and shove it up their ass! Much love and respect for the staff at Delta Liquid Energy, and shame on whoever calls them to scream at them because they can't pay your propane bill. read more

We have been dealing with Delta since we moved to Paso Robles in 2012. We decided to go with them because they allowed us the option of checking our own propane tank and calling them when we need a fill-up, rather than a monthly service where they just show up, fill the tank and bill us. This allowed us to be conscious of how much we used (because propane IS more expensive than natural gas, so you'll want to use it wisely). If you have the ability to be vigilant and MONITOR how much you are using, you will never run out -- they will come out within 48 hours of calling to refill your tank, 365 days a year. And if you get below about 25 percent in your tank, it will stink, because the added "gas" scent collects in the bottom of the tank. This makes it hard to miss when you're running a bit low. We also do their "summer buy" program, where you buy in advance at summer prices for delivery during higher-priced winter months. Each summer they look over how much we've used and advise us on how much we should buy for the following year. I should also add that last year we installed a pellet stove and did not use our furnace and our propane bill dropped dramatically. But we still have a gas water heater, so we still need SOME propane. But as I said, it's extremely expensive, so using less is better. But we're super pleased with our service from Delta, and plan on staying with them as long as we live where we do. read more
