I have had written down that we are staying at the Delta Queen for one day, for a friend's show in a neighboring hotel. Since I use a service animal, I wanted to confirm that we would be accommodated. I couldn't find a confirmation in my emails, so I called the hotel. I was met with an AI "assistant" with no way to speak to a human. I tried for over a week to confirm our reservation through phone calls, email, and the contact form on their website, I kept being told that I would hear back in one business day if I had a reservation. Since I never heard, I assumed I had made a mistake, gave up, and booked a new room. Lo and behold I get a confirmation text from "Possibly Spam," and it's the confirmation from the Delta Queen for both my initial reservation AND the new one I had just made. If someone had just picked up the phone or responded to any of the emails, I would still have the $150 I am now out because I tried to do my due diligence. Because of how close it is to the date we need to be up there, we will still be staying. I hope that when we do check in we get to talk to an actual human, and I can plead my case for a refund. read more

We just love staying here at the Queen! The staff is amazing and friendly You really couldn't ask for a better location for this little gem of the Delta Each room has its own charm as well as character and the ambiance of this hotel is so welcoming! They are always more than happy to cater to our needs like and extra towel or pillow or just some friendly conversation! The town of Isleton is very unique and everyone is so friendly here! The locals here are really good folks and always wave back! Do NOT stay here! This place is terrible. We stayed here last night and I honestly can't wait to get the heck out of here. Our room is disgusting and wasn't cleaned right. There were poop smears left in the toilet from the previous guest. Luckily there was at least a toilet brush for me to scrub them off, but it was completely ridiculous and unacceptable that I had to do so. The carpet is also so dirty it's actually sticky under our bare feet - like so sticky that when we go to the bathroom our feet are sticking slightly to the linoleum! I have never stayed somewhere so filthy in my entire life! Then there's the bed, which is more like a medieval torture device than anything else. There's absolutely no cushion to it. It's just thin fabric over springs, which you can hear creaking anytime you slightly move. My husband and I are in so much pain right now and barely slept last night. Our shoulders and back are absolutely killing us! The plan was to eat breakfast at the restaurant here, but now we're not going to because there's no way the food is decent or sanitary if they think it's acceptable to rent rooms with poop smeared toilets and sticky carpets out to people. I'm not willing to risk food poisoning, thanks. I'm going to shower and then we're going to get the heck out of this dump ASAP. Edit: After my shower I went to blow dry my hair and their hair dryer was covered in some kind of dried crud (visibly dirty) so I just let my hair air dry. On the way out we saw trash floating in their very green pool - something we didn't see upon arrival because it was dark when we got there last night. I seriously don't understand how the owners can justify operating a business like this. read more

Nice little town right on the river. The Delta Queen is a laid back and serene place to get away for a few days. Grab a drink in the bar and enjoy some karaoke or any of the many other games they have. I enjoy the vibe and JP and Priscilla make you feel very welcome. read more

The Queen is a gem being polished by its Owners and very attentive hosts JP and Priscilla. Lots of amenities including hot tub (jacuzzi), pool, and bar with a karaoke night. If you're in the Delta, stay a night or two and see for yourself. read more

The service with our waitress, Shelby was excellent! She was very attentive and kept checking to make sure everything was up to standard. My husband had the catfish with garlic spicy sriracha sauce. It was spiced to perfection and he had plenty for leftovers the next day. I had my usual favorite, the French dip! Both of these dinners were paired with delicious French fries. Instead of dessert I had a delicious a "lemon drop" which was perfect. Overall we had a great experience here and will definately be back! read more

We spent $30 for parking at the Crawfish Festival and received a flyer to go to the restaurant to redeem $30, or something along those lines. Upon entering, it was a cute little place. I did notice seating in the restaurant area. My friend and I were trying to figure out if we needed to be seated or if it was open seating. My friend stood at the bar and waited for a bartender to come by and I went on the hunt for a staff member. I found a waitress and we made eye contact so I asked her how getting seated would work. She looked at me and then turned around and continued to talk to her co-worker completely ignoring me. We just left. read more

Disappointing. My wife, my daughter, and I went to the Iselton Crawdad festival and decided to try Delta Queen Lodge. We got a half pound of alligator and fries and it cost 27 dollars. We were thoroughly disappointed when it took over an hour. Not only this, but we asked multiple times to check on our food and were only met with, "it's next", it was in fact not next. We then asked for a manager who was not there at the time, seems strange considering this is a very busy weekend. When we finally ate our food we were completely dissatisfied. Too salty. It was unfortunate I could not access the reviews before I booked this place, why, I do not know! ANYWAY, DO NOT STAY HERE FOR ANY REASON! DRIVE TO THE NEXT TOWN!! The pictures they show are sooooo misleading! There is NO restaurant, there is NO bar. (They have both been closed for well over a year, probably more). There is NO lobby, there is NO staff, they do not answer the contact number or return voicemail messages. Access to the rooms is up a back staircase off the main street that feels Shakey at best, via access codes, same as the rooms. The pool looks like something out of a horror film! The room we were given had excrement (Shite) still in the toilet, Sieman stains under the quilt, Woman's long hairs and what looked like body lint still in the sheets. We did manage to get another room, but only by responding the text messages after getting the access code texts. And the replacement room was only better in that it DIDN"T have what the previous room did as mentioned earlier! Sadly, no washcloth, 1-hand towel, 1-bath towel for two people. We did not use the shower as it looked filthy, and we just wanted to leave as early as we could! The bed had no cushion at all. (felt like a wooden box with springs, and you felt EVERY spring!) And all this for WAY too much money per night! My cancelation time was 24 hours prior to check in, so I was screwed! Yes, we stayed in the replacement room, because losing the amount of money I paid for this place just doesn't sit well with me!! I paid A LOT LESS for A LOT BETTER! Sleeping in my car for the night would have been a better deal... LET ME REPEAT. DO NOT STAY HERE! DRIVE TO THE NEXT TOWN, YOU WILL BE MUCH HAPPIER!!! read more

I have never felt so unwelcome at any venue I've ever been to on The Delta. I attempted to book 2 rooms at the old Rogelio's on Main Street. My family has enjoyed the site for decades. But, it seems the new owners have a different target market they wish to serve. While I explained to the new "Hostess" I have been unable to book rooms through their website nor that of Air B&B, I was CONFRONTED with questions about why I couldn't book through either site. I suggested that is their problem not mine. I was than challenged to explain myself. I advised this very unpleasant woman, seemingly devoid of any professionalism, I had been a client with the previous owners for 3 decades. She clearly wasn't impressed. I will NEVER set foot in that place again. And .. I will warn all other former patrons to stay away. They should never experience the inhospitable treatment I received. read more

Ate there before the polar express train ride. when I made the reservation for 4pm on a Saturday I didn't realize that we'd have order off the lunch menu, my bad. but the food overall was awful. we had chicken sandwich, burgers and a French dip none of which were edible. the service was slow, it took us over an hour to get our 'food' and when we did it was cold. We made reservations for this place about a month ago for a wedding of one of my best friends. Upon arrival, we did not find anywhere to check in. We eventually made contact with the receptionist at the bar downstairs who gave us the number for the manager. The first two calls went unanswered. Eventually after 20 minutes waiting, we made contact with the manager who apparently sent a confirmation text to a wrong number so we never received instructions on how to enter the property and get to our room. She was also very rude to my fiancé after she pronounced her name incorrectly. After waiting another 20 minutes for the code to get in the room we decided to go to another hotel that we could actually get access to. Would not recommend staying here if you have an event to go to seeing as this circus almost resulted in us being late to the wedding. There are much better hotels in Elk Grove for about the same price. Hopefully, the manager will do the right thing and refund us the money that we are owed for a room we did not use. Follow up with the manager, they will not be dropping the charge. They failed to confirm that we received instruction to get in and did not send us the entry code in a timely manner. Do not recommend this place to your friends. read more

We stayed at the Lodge and found our room spacious and clean with a fridge, coffee/tea, microwave etc. The keyless entry process worked well; we had a little glitch but it was easily solved via text. The only negatives were the lack of spare toilet paper in the room, old, flat pillows, and no information about how to access the pool, which needed vaccuuming pretty badly, so no real loss there. We visited the bar Saturday night and were treated very well with good drinks at reasonable prices. I do wish that we had gotten a confirmation that our message regarding checking out of the room had been answered. BTW checkout time is a very reasonable 11:00am. read more

My sister and I had breakfast at Deleta Queen Lodge last Saturday. We were very pleased with the food and service and prices. The staff was very welcoming and attentive, especially our waiter Reilly. I had the Denver Omelet with country potatoes and a fresh homemade biscuit. My sister had a pancake. We both loved the food. I am looking forward to having lunch and dinner there in the future. We had dinner this evening. Because I saw the Special...2 tacos and a beer or Margarita for $10. Can you beat that? I ordered beef tacos...tri tip very well seasoned with sauteed onions and peppers. So good. My hubby ordered fish and chips and I swear there was a 12 inch piece of fish on his plate. The fish was breaded and cooked perfectly. No fish flavor. My husband and I attended the Christmas party at Delta Queen Lodge and restaurant, we had such a fantastic time! We were served drinks and appetizers while singing karaoke. It was so much fun! The deep fried mushrooms and zucchini were perfect with my whiskey sour! I can't say enough about the atmosphere, from the minute we walked in the door, Melissa (the bartender) was warm and inviting and remembered us from our one other visit! We spent the evening playing darts and singing karaoke, making many new friends! We ended the night by heading upstairs to our cozy warm room. This is the 5th time I've eaten here and each time the food has been really good. Today I had the Delta Burger which had a maple bbq sauce smothered over the beef with bacon. My side was French fries that were the best, crispy, and salted to perfection. Prices are in line with other restaurants I've eaten at. My wife and I finally tried the Delta Queen for dinner tonite. It's a new place in the old Rogelios Card Room & Restaurant. We were surprised that no one was in the dining area, and a handful of people in the bar. But we were pleasantly greeted and had prompt service. I don't remember our waitresses name but she was very nice and helpful and our meal was served to us right away. We both ordered burgers and fries and it was perfect ! Nice big burger and pile of fries, and fresh lettuce,tomato,onion,and pickle on the side. Again, our service was excellent, food was good, and the cooks came out to get our feedback on our dinner etc. which was nice especially as a new place trying to make it work. The only things missing were all of you haha. So it was our first trip but I gave it 4 stars. Everything was good and it's obvious that they are really trying hard and I can't help but encourage anyone around Isleton that's looking for a good meal to give the Delta Queen a try. Tonight was first time we have eaten at this establishment. Beverly was our amazing waitperson and she was absolutely awesome. Several of us enjoyed the great fish and chips. As a Scottish lady, I am very particular in choosing fish and chips. Our dinner tonight did not disappoint. The fish batter was very hot and crispy and fish perfectly cooked. My husband and I spent the night at the Delta Queen Lodge for my birthday and we had a wonderful time. The fish and chips were amazing!! The best ever! We spent the evening listening to music and playing darts in the lounge and had a few beverages that were excellent! The bartender Melissa is fabulous! I visited the Delta Queen Lodge in Iselton a couple weekends ago. I stayed the night in one of their rooms. It was clean and cozy. The location on Main Street is ideal. There are a half dozen unique little shops with gifts and more to buy. I especially liked the stained-glass shop down the street. Their restaurant menu had a variety of good meals to offer, definetly something for everyone. The bar had a well stocked supply of all your desired liquors and ocal wines. The staff was super friendly and the couple running the karoke rocked. Definitely plan on returning soon. read more

I've been to this lodge a few times. I loved the rooms. Karaoke was awesome. The food and drinks were delicious. The wine flight had local wineries, the chicken wings were perfectly cooked, the cajun pasta had the right spices and the chili cheese fries with black beans were amazing. read more
