Great place for brunch/ breakfast. Kid and dog friendly, dog was even served water! Outdoor and indoor seating available. This is our second time here and would definitely return!

I'm pretty sure that says it all.

Closed on Friday, 3/13/26. Sign says open in May. Looks nice, standard delta fare. Would give five stars if they were open.

We recently visited the Grand Island Mansion for their Sunday brunch and came away very impressed…read moreoverall. If Yelp allowed half-stars, this would probably land at a 4.5/5 for us. The atmosphere is really the standout feature here. The mansion itself is stunning, elegant without feeling stuffy, with ornate architecture, sweeping staircases, fireplaces, formal dining rooms, outdoor seating areas, and beautifully maintained grounds. It feels somewhere between a historic estate and a wedding venue, which makes brunch feel more like an event than just a meal. There were several seating areas throughout the mansion, and part of the fun was simply walking around and taking in the property. The brunch buffet was genuinely elevated compared to a typical hotel-style brunch. There was a wide variety of offerings and everything we tried was very good. The spread included prime rib, eggs Benedict, roasted vegetables, salads, French toast, assorted side dishes, rolls, scones, and an impressive dessert table with mousses, pastries, chocolate-covered strawberries, and other desserts that looked almost too polished to eat. The buffet struck a nice balance between breakfast and lunch options without feeling repetitive. Service was also strong. Since it's buffet-style, the staff isn't taking entrée orders, but the waitstaff did a very good job keeping drinks filled, bringing silverware, answering questions, and making guests feel comfortable. Mimosas, orange juice, and water were included with the flat brunch price, which helped the experience feel more complete and relaxed rather than transactional. The main reason this stops short of a full 5 stars is that the experience feels slightly more "special occasion venue" than fine dining destination, if that distinction makes sense. But for a Sunday brunch outing, especially with family, celebrations, or out-of-town guests, it's absolutely worth experiencing at least once. A very memorable brunch in a truly unique setting.

2025 update: tday buffet was SUPREME…read more My personal preference ratings so I remember for next year: 1. Prime rib, mashed potatoes, both pumpkin and onion soups 2. Yams (don't go too hard but ya yum, future self), herb biscuits (staff don't read this part - future self, steal one even if ur full), stuffing (go light on this tho, a lot of bread, future self), baked brie, cranberry goat cheese, creme brulee, pudding, cranberry sauce 3. Corn 4. Turkey (tbf I tried the white meat but am actually fond of dark meat), green bean casserole - Prime rib very very good. Huge 360 from last year. - Cranberry sauce so mature in flavor, nicely spiced, maybe my favorite of all cranberry sauces? - Mashed potatoes fluffy and buttery, y'all know what you're doing - Creamy onion soup ugh savory, creamy, not too salty, sumptuous home cooking (tho I waste the bulbs unless they're blended in lol sorry) - Pumpkin soup ugh yes like a savory pumpkin pie, thick soup, supreme - I don't usually eat bread at a buffet but the herbed biscuits are worth it (also the stuffing, tho I personally prefer my dad's/grandma's gizzard stuffing) - Baked brie is complicated I think because it has to be kept warm for a little gooeyness but I can't resist any kind of cheese, I don't care if it's hot or cold, store-bought, even kraft cheese (is that cheese?), I'll eat it

Our calamari sat for a while as it was cold. It also didn't help that the server walked right by our table with the calamari in her hand, all the way to the other end of the restaurant and then back and put it on our table. Made zero sense. 4. Most importantly, if they can't remember every detail of an order by trying to memorize it, have them write it down!! Period. This is a skill not everyone possesses. We will definitely be back as the food was pretty good. But I hate spending $120 for dinner in basically a sports bar, get mediocre Service and they expect a 20% tip. (Which I still gave) This was just a few of the things we dealt with. It wasn't really crowded so do like other restaurants. Make sure the item is tagged for the right table and anybody can bring it out. It doesn't have to be the server as I know they're attending to other tables.

The bar room was offered and based on our experience of a live band or good music we chose of our area. Unfortunately, the service ( if there was any) was non existent . Do you have a food return to the dining room with menus and hand and no one attempted to see what was going on There were only two other couples sitting in the room. It was almost empty. We wound up moving back to the dining area because we plan to have tea and coffee. Once we or seated in the main dining area, the service was stellar. They checked on its regularly. We got water immediately. They took our order within 3 to 5 minutes that continue to check on us throughout the meal refilled our beverages. It is regularly crowded there the beautiful world that room is covered by direct sunlight from the windows that show you the waterfront there's plenty of seating, the music is loud enough to enjoy but low enough to have conversation and enjoy your meal simply perfect I got my favorite the crab sand, which is at market price and delicious. My husband had a jumbo shrimp scrambled that comes with bacon and avocado, and it was delicious. I adore this restaurant and I really enjoy the fact that they've started covering the outdoor patio area so you don't have direct Son.
