Fun bar and restaurant located in the heart of Rio Vista. Awesome service by Jeremy. He was welcoming, provided great conversation with some history of the area and made sure our order was perfect. The onion rings were house made. Huge with a crisp and crunchy batter on them. My pesto sandwich was bomb! The ciabatta bread was super soft. Cheese melted perfectly. Would order again for sure. My dad went with the spaghetti and meatballs. He enjoyed it and had a large amount of it to take home. This is a must visit for anyone in the Rio Vista area. Large menu with diverse options. Full bar including plenty of beers on tap. Clean restaurant and bathrooms as well. I loved Lucy's! Everything was so great. I especially loved the red potatoes, they were perfectly seasoned and crispy. I wasn't able to eat much since I just had dental work, but my daughter really enjoyed her eggs Benedict. She also got a vanilla gelato with fudge and was obsessed. The portions were generous and everything looked as good as it tasted. Even the classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, and potatoes was done really well, simple but full of flavor. The atmosphere really stood out to me too. I loved all the artwork throughout the space, especially the vintage Italian pieces, and the marble in the bathroom was a beautiful touch. Met my brother in law for lunch. He was already in the bar when I arrived so we ate in there. Denise the bartender quickly took care of us. I had a very tasty dirty vodka martini and my brother in law had a Boont Ale from. Anderson Valley Brewery. He ordered garlic prawns, served with a nice selection of vegetables and he opted for mashed potatoes. I had a really good french dip, loaded with sliced ribs eye, mushrooms, and swiss cheese. The au jus was very tasty. I opted for a house salad( romaine lettuce with beets and cucumbers with a topping of parmesan cheese). I also ordered a cup of soup( today was beefy orzo) very good. The bar had a nice amount of people for lunch. The dining room was decorated nice and looked comfy. I look forward to visiting again. read more

New spot for us with stepping out to this location. Walked by it many of times over the. Last 2 years. Glad that we did as it was a good way to enjoy our last meal for the day. We were told that we could seat ourselves at any available table. Right away we realized the the bar it adjoined to the restaurant with a small entry way. We did not visit that area during our visit but we are aware for future visits. During this time it seemed as though the two hostesses that were working, split the areas. It helped where needed. Once we placed our food and beverage orders, it wasn't long after that we were presented with everything. All was enjoyable, not over cooked or over salted or bland. Was enjoyed. Even their freshly made generous portions of dessert. With all pictured for two people the bill was around $80. They are in a good spot of town, as you can take a little stroll by the water after your meal if weather permits. read more

First, it's a cute old fashioned place and the manager was so friendly- AND helpful with food allergies. I've got a serious one, and it's a weird one- and the manager was SO helpful. They actually use real eggs in their omelets (so no hidden carrageenan or corn product) AND they grate their own cheese- how amazing, right? Everyone seems to be buying prebagged (which often has corn starch.) On top of that, they make their own delicious rosemary potatoes- and they are awesome. I can't wait to go back. Ordered a fettuccine alfredo for pick-up and this was what I got. It was $18 and I was surprised when the box wasn't even half full and keep in mind that this didn't even include protein which is an extra cost. Of course I can make it myself at home at a lower cost but I expected at least the container to be full. This case would be shame on me and now I learned my lesson however I saw some of my colleagues chose some of their other items on the menu and it looked like a better value so I would give Lucy's another try. Nothing special about this order and I'm not sure if the noodles and sauce were made in the restaurant (didn't taste like it), but I'm still interested in some other items on their menu read more

I love this place. For breakfast, they make the best veggie omelette I've ever had. I usually go for dinner and they make a great steak, wonderful spaghetti and meatballs. They'd done some remodeling awhile back and the main dining room gets super noisy when it's a full house. But that's just my opinion and I like noisy sometimes too. My wife took me to Lucy's for my birthday. We were greeted right away but it was not busy, a week night. Reviews indicated the waiter was rude. We did not find that at all. Food was very good. I wish i could rate my experience more than five stars! This was amazing service, Food, People, and scenery. Let's start with the service, the bartender Heather who works on Mondays was a delight!! . I would come back just to talk to her. Than the food. I ordered cheese sticks, they were great and they came out fast. And they were very good overall. They were playing lots of shows on three different flat screen tvs. It was very interesting. There was also a lot of friendly people here as well. I sat at the bar and talked to many new people, this place was overall welcoming, and a delight. I would come back over and over just for the people and the experience. Ivan was the man who delivered my food. It was spectacular, he brought it back fast and cleaned the table quickly. He was so friendly and nice. He made great small talk. I have been to the other restaurant in town called Fosters? It was okay and great service too but Lucy's beats it every time, on the service and the overall experience. We dine here frequently when in the area. They have the freshest fish! I always order their halibut and it's like they just caught it. We recently went and I had their coconut crusted sea bass with I believe a mango salsa! The most delicious meal I've had in forever! Cooked perfectly and served with a baked potato and grilled asparagus. Service is always excellent. Their mai tais are delicious and just perfect! I am jubilant after coming to this restaurant!Amazing customer service aswell!! The bartender Heather who took our order was an outstanding young woman.. make sure to ask for her on monday nights! She is really friendly with the customers and made sure we were happy with our order and service. I am always so happy seeing her every monday night. The food was really good and was perfectly cooked... shoutout to the cooks lol! The ambiance was also great. Not once was I left unattended when I needed something. The environment was great and I loved the decor inside. But Heather really stood out to me and I was so glad she took my orders..can't wait to see her more here as I come. She is a very bubbly woman and is kind to all. I loved all the different views on the THREE flat screen TVs. The boss Ivan was also really kind and made sure everything was smooth and that our food came out fast..he served our food and im so greatful he did. Ive been to fosters down the road..not the best experience compared to the other places ive been to.. especially Lucys!! Service like this only comes from heartfelt restaurants in the delta.. specifically Lucy's..I love this restaurant and will continue to come back!! Wish I could rate this more than 5 stars.. So I would totally give this place 5 stars based on what we ate, and our server was awesome, however they are connected to the bar which was so loud because there was a football game on. The patrons were so loud... not so pleasant when you're trying to eat. The restaurant could probably use an update, and seats need to be reupholstered. This however isn't a deal breaker if the place is clean and the food is good We enjoyed everything we ate, started with Calamari... it had fried pickled jalapeños and fried lemon slices... complimented the calamari... I had the lasagna and hubby had the Beef Ravioli.. huge servings... both came with salad, and we had soft fresh bread. Everything was yummy. I'm looking forward to going back to try some of the other menu choices. read more
