The owner is rude and cancelled my appt after me being 9 minutes late. They have called me before to reschedule my appointment and I've had to wait on Brian more than 15 minutes in other occasions and never mind that because he is popular and he overbooks him. But to just dismiss me and walk off while I'm talking to you is just unprofessional. I am a loyal customer and come every 2 weeks and spend $$ and will not be treated in that manner.

Long story short it's been a week and my cuticles on both big toes are still super inflamed and maybe infected. Went back to Lady Nail (3 blocks from home) for a manicure - nail shaping, cuticle trimming - NO polish as I'm treating my nails at home; self trimming your cuticle is just difficult. Anyway, the place only had one other customer, and the woman that worked on me had been playing on her phone. She barely touched any shaping and I had to repeatedly point out bad cuticles. I actually gave up after a point. There was no 'hand massage', no nail smoothing, no lotion, no nothing. For this, I paid $22. Three days later I went somewhere else where they took their time and did a great job on the cuticles, shaping, nail smoothing, lotion, AND did a good looking gel manicure in cherry red. Cost? $25. Do not go to Lady Nail, there are far better places around.

She did a great job explaining how to make the designs last long with the brush on technique for dip powers. My Chrome set chipped the next day but it was fixed free of charge. If I had to nit picky I had a small bump on one of my solid brown nails that I could only see and you have to ask for water instead of being offered water. Maybe no one does regular nail polish anymore and maybe this is why our result was so disappointing but we paid $90+ for just a reg. mani and pedi. They rushed through the painting process- bubbles and missed lines and missed cuticles- like obvious missed cuticles- bc I understand that nothing is perfect. And the lady doing my toes was angry and slammed the nail polish down on the table when handing it off to the other lady. Made me feel very uncomfortable and also nervous for the rest of the appointment, which proved to be true. My daughter wanted just a cute starfish on each ring finger but got a 20 min "best try" from a nail tech and it honestly looks more like a toddler abstract doodle. Sad that I paid for this and sad that my daughter's nails look like this for her first time getting her nails done. We will not be coming back. Guess we'll have to do more research on a better place next time.
