At first I was very happy with the service, but within two days I could tell that one of the nails was not cured all the way through. It started to lift off my nail and get a bubble. The bubble then popped, and I could see wet gel polish underneath. For those of you that do not know this, this is VERY dangerous! It can cause your body to develop an allergy to gel polish and destroy your nails. I went back later that day to show them the issue, and they told me they would fix it. I expected them to take off the polish that was there, clean up the wet gel polish, and redo the nail. Instead, she just painted over the bubble, adding more wet gel into the hole and making a huge bump on my nail. When I get home I ended up just taking the whole nail off. And as I expected, there was wet gel underneath. I am so disappointed since I thought that this would be my next go to place, but I put my nail health over a good deal any day.

Overall be careful if u don't like who's servicing u ask for someone else, as for me. I'm finding somewhere else, not worth my money or tip. My go-to girls are Pebbles and Phanny, but I've had my nails done by other techs and I can confidently say that everyone does an excellent job. Eyelash extensions, waxing, dip powder/SNS and mood colors are among other services they offer. Prices are fair. For a gel manicure and a regular pedicure, I paid $52. Cash and card are accepted. If you pay with cash, however, it's cheaper. They do have an ATM available on site if you don't have cash with you. It does tend to get busy between 5pm-closing so expect a wait if you stop by after work. On Saturday mornings, there are usually customers lining up outside. Make sure you arrive early and sign in if you want a specific technician.

My first time there He immediately helped take off my gel while my nail tech was getting the table set up. He also gave me some great advice about general nail maintenance and cuticle maintenance. I think my techs name was Alex, I don't remember what the managers name was. I asked for sunflowers on a black background and asked him if this was something he could do. He insisted he could and I let him know that it was completely okay if he couldn't because I had a backup design. He ended up not being able to do it and had to ask another tech to do it. They came out more like daisies than anything and I wasn't thrilled but I didn't want to hold up the appointment behind me by asking them to redo it. The worst part of this was when he started clipping my cuticles, he cut the entire side of my finger. Not just a little nick...the cuticle clippers took a chunk out of my finger. He apologized and I said it was okay because mistakes happen, but it happened AGAIN. Two chunks taken out of two fingers. (See in pictures below) To me this is unacceptable. I also asked him to be very careful with the silver drill tip because I didn't want to be cut. He cut me anyway and then said it's because my cuticles were dry. The cut was deep, it had nothing to do with dryness. I considered returning at a later date and just asking the manager to do my nails, but I can't ever go back here.

I offered to Uber her into Center City to get pampered at one of the salons I use, but she is a die hard, 'keep it in the neighborhood' consumer and insisted on going to Gina's. My Nan used to be a frequent customer here and said walk ins were always welcome, so we strolled over on a Friday morning to get her smoothed and polished. When we walked in, no one acknowledged us. My Nan saw Gina and waved and 'yoo hooed.' She was ignored. After standing in the doorway for a few minutes, one of the women screamed at us, 'What you want?!' I said my grandmother wished to have a mani/pedi. No response. The operators stared at us. Finally, one of the women said, 'We busy. You come back later.' Well, they were NOT busy. Other than one operator doing a manicure, everyone else was sitting around. In addition, there is no spacing anywhere between manicure/pedicure stations or any type of barriers between customer and operator. Operators were all masked; nothing more precautionary is in place. I apologized to my Nan and we walked out. Nan was angry and said for all the years she had given Gina's her business, she felt like that was a slap in the face. Since she would not consent to going into CC, I gave her a "Warren special" mani/pedi at home. Thanks for nothing, Gina and staff.
