They do have a large selection and more hobby variety than seen elsewhere. But inventory is very much overpriced with little discounted (unlike competitors). There is so much stuff here that in places it feels less a retail store and more like someone's stored collection. Hastur suits my gaming needs just fine and with MUCH friendlier people.

One of the employees cursed at another from across the counter. Not once, but three times. I understand that this is a casual store, and have loved the atmosphere in the past, but as a representative of the business, and an employee, foul language is off putting at best. I am far from offended, if I had heard it at the game tables I would not have thought twice about it, but from an employee, on the clock, that is sad and unprofessional. In addition, searching for singles is tucked away so you have to use the computer in the very back of the store, which isn't well highlighted unless you ask. Everything is relatively priced at MSRP, so you won't be charged insane rates if you do find something you're looking for to add to your collection. I will say that their amount of card game supplies is very well equipped. If you ever need boxes or sleeves they have plenty! I would recommend coming here for supplies to elevate your card game experience!

They definitely do participate in price gouging their customers. Unfortunately that is pretty normal for the industry. They have an ok selection of rares and a poor following for magic so if you come in at the beginning of a set there is a decent chance of you being able to buy the singles you are looking for. The digital fireplace brings home the "hearthside" feel and they even had local board game designers set up which was cool to see.
