I initially read the reviews on Yelp and felt DeMuro Roofing was the best choice. I've a small flat roof on the 3rd floor that was leaking constantly and my idea was to replace the whole roof. I called and they came right over. I did mention I wanted it replaced, but they said the best thing to do was to use white silicone coating and it will stop anything. So, I said ok. They got the job done in June of 2020. It looked good, not what I was looking for, but I trusted them and I thought it was fine. They also gave me a 5 year warranty. Fast forward to Autumn of 2024, and it started leaking again. I called and said I want to use the warranty. Communication was not as great. They constantly told me they are going to troubleshoot it and get to the bottom of it. It seemed like they were surprised that the silicone didn't stop it. They did visit, but kept on saying it doesn't look like their work, but they will get a guy who can give a masterclass on finding leaks. They never returned and the warranty had expired as time slipped by. I ended up going with their competitors. The competition replaced the whole roof, found the leak in the process, and used ingenuity to prevent it from ever leaking again. DeMuro was a huge disappointment and I regret spending $4,750 with them. They did replace my gutters and I was happy about that, but they subbed that out, so not really their work. read more

I called Rich for an estimate on a new roof and he provided a rough estimate over the phone using Google Maps within minutes and came to my house the next day to provide an official estimate. The price was considerably lower than other estimates I received and Rich was thorough in his explanation of what his team would do and how long it would take. Rich gave me a couple of days notice in advance of doing our job (within a week of agreeing on a price) and his team showed up at the day and time we had agreed upon. Within a day and a half the roof was done and everything was cleaned up. Tried for two weeks to schedule someone to come out to have a look at my leaking roof. Communication was spotty to non-existent. Said they would show up later in the week and never did, then I asked again about a time and got a one word response, "Tomorrow". Took the day off and nobody showed up. Very unprofessional. These guys were great! We had an emergency situation with flying squirrels entering our house at two different points on the roof. Rich came out and within a couple of hours of calling him to diagnose the problem. His guys were here the same afternoon and took care of all repairs for a very reasonable fee. Very reliable I have used Rich for several roofing flashing jobs over a 1-2 month period as we were getting several equipment installed on our roof and needed flashing to be done. He always came when he promised and was always easy to get in touch with. He will work with you on pricing as well. It's been at least 2 months and we've had lots of rain since and no leaks!
