Gino and his crew at Fabulous Roofing just completed the installation of a new roof over our existing one on a Park Slope brownstone which was causing leaks from front to back. The job was made more difficult by the existence of a large roof deck, the flooring of which had to be removed so that the workmen might be able to get at the roof underneath. No problem: for a reasonable price, considerably less than other roofers had given me if they would even entertain removing the wood flooring that had proved to be an impediment, Gino had his men remove and, as agreed upon, subsequently dispose of the existing deck floor. The entire job took two days, with the men working carefully but quickly and cleanly, leaving me entirely satisfied with the job they had performed. They were, well, Fabulous. And at a price that was more than reasonable. We must have had six or seven roofing companies, look at our roof and give us estimates, but Gino and Fabulous exceeded our expectations. Gino always returned my calls promptly and showed admirable flexibility in scheduling our work. Our courtyard, where they lowered the old wood prior to trucking it away to be disposed of, was left almost spotless.
