We come to this location whenever my husband needs nice jackets, sports coats, or business attire…read more This weekend we specifically came in to shop for sports coats for upcoming business trips, and we actually ended up purchasing even more because of the great deals available. The main reason we continue coming back to this store is because of Chris. He previously helped my husband and my dad with suits for our son's wedding, and ever since then we always look for him when we visit. My husband is 6'7", so finding the right sizes and fit can be difficult, but Chris is always incredibly helpful, creative, patient, and friendly. He truly provides outstanding customer service. During this visit, while I was walking around the store, I overheard two employees talking about Chris and saying he needed to stay at the register instead of helping customers on the floor. Honestly, that was disappointing to hear because Chris is the one employee who is approachable and genuinely engaged with customers. The rest of the staff often seem inexperienced, unwelcoming, or simply fail to acknowledge customers altogether. We also learned there have been some organizational changes requiring employees to remain behind the registers. With all due respect, employees like Chris should not be restricted from helping customers on the sales floor. He is the reason loyal customers like us continue returning to this location. Otherwise, we would honestly drive to the Inland Empire location just to work with Hamid again, whom we also miss at the Mission Viejo store. While we were checking out, two additional customers were standing there waiting for quite some time without assistance or even acknowledgment. One customer repeatedly asked for help just to complete payment. Honestly, I would have walked out. A simple greeting, acknowledgment, or smile goes a very long way, even during busy times. My feedback would be: * Allow strong customer service employees like Chris to continue helping regular customers on the floor. * Provide additional customer service training to employees. * Encourage staff to be more approachable, friendly, and attentive to customers. Most importantly, we will continue to give high praise to Chris. He represents what great customer service should look like, and quite frankly, some of the staff could learn from him. He would make an excellent manager.

We decided to check out Men's Warehouse to rent their attire, and I am so glad we did. We were incredibly blessed to get served by sales associate, Chris Hertsgaard. Chris asked us the dates we would need to rent the attire for, and when we informed him, Chris immediately ran the numbers and showed us how purchasing the tuxedos outright would be significantly cheaper than renting them for the entire time we will be in Europe. Then, Chris helped my husband and son select the most handsome and fashionable tuxedos. Chris coordinated the tuxedos with shirts, bow ties, vests, handsome formal shoes, socks, cuff links, pocket handkerchiefs...every detail attended to! When my husband and son tried everything on together that Chris selected for them, they looked so dapper, we could not say no to anything, and ended up buying it all! Chris, then, had everything custom tailored to fit my men perfectly. Chris did such a good job, was so talented coordinating fashionable men's attire, and fun to work with, my husband and son ended up purchasing additional fashionable shoes, and shirts from Chris. If you require assistance selecting and coordinating fashionable men's attire, go to Men's Warehouse and ask for Chris! You will be delighted.

There have been a lot of changes to this mall over the years. The things that have stayed the same…read moreare the LEGO store, Macy's (knock on wood), Bath and Body Works, Sephora, and Paradise Bakery & Cafe. The mall typically isn't busy. To me, it looks like the food court and restaurants are what attract the most people. Paradise Bakery & Cafe consistently has the longest line at the food court. I am not surprised because there is something special about it. I love their mini cinnamon roll and my husband is a fan of their peanut butter cookie. In terms of value, The Shops at Mission Viejo has stores at different price points. You can splash out at Nordstrom or economize at Uniqlo. The mall's address is 555 The Shops at Mission Viejo, Mission Viejo, CA 92691

A more accurate description would be "the-mall-that-accepts-anyone-as-a-tenant." I'm pretty sure the beauty supply store is a front for a money laundering operation (they are never, ever open), most of the other stores don't stay open until 8pm (and I'm not talking about just the watch/jewelry stores), and there are just a handful of random, funky places in here. All that aside - I don't really come here to "shop" - but it's a great place to mall walk. It's here that I learned mall walking was a real thing. Weekday mornings, you'll see a fair amount of retirees walking the mall, many before it opens. Not going to lie: my husband and I have turned into evening mall walkers. So, thanks, Mission Viejo for giving us a place to walk.. but not necessarily shop. I really think the leasing department needs to look at what would do well with the community, not just be desperate and sign anyone. Look at how other centers are thriving. 2026: 52/100
