I then was trying to inquire about a Ruger mark 4 and he was rude about how they have them but won't sell them but can order them. I still don't understand what he meant other than out of stock maybe? Anyway. Another customer came up behind me and asked this man a question and he scolded the customer and said he was with me, he was not and dragged me into it for some reason. He eventually got rid of the prospect and I proceeded to tell him I didn't want or need his help and to help the man he ignored. Instead he called up the next person in queue. Ironically enough, an employee was going off on a phone or radio about giving the best customer satisfaction possible lol. I almost said something to him but he was so hyped and happy, unlike mr grumps at the gun counter. Aside from that and what drove me away from purchasing a new firearm that day, the guys working Ammo and the fishing department were amazing. They really showed their knowledge and were a pleasure to work with. I will be back because of them, but maybe sticking to rifle supply for gun purchases.

His tone and facial expression clearly implied that he thought we had taken merchandise without asking. The socks were my husband's own socks, and the entire interaction felt rude, condescending, and completely inappropriate. They don't even sell the same brand socks at the store. Rather than providing customer service, the associate made him feel accused and uncomfortable while shopping. Customer service training should include basic professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.

I was able to find items on sale with price clearly marked. There was only one assistant in the shoes section the last few times I stopped in and I usually see a customer or two waiting to be served. The check-out line on the other hand is getting better. I no longer have to print out the coupon sheet as I used too. The clerk can scan the barcode on my phone and it works for all items that are on sale that day. Too bad their system only allows one coupon per transaction which is intentional I'm sure.

I got so lucky to stumble upon a shop in my hometown that had my size AND a sale price as well. When I called, the guy was nice enough to keep it on hold for me so that I can come on a day where my work schedule isn't crazy. I wish I got your name. It was honestly one of my most mentally exhausting and frustrating weeks, and I guess I was trying to find something I wanted so that I could treat myself and have something to look forward to. To be honest I was ready to pay full price for how much I wanted this board. I know CBS doesn't sell online and I am grateful I had somewhere to go where online shoppers weren't a competition. Thank you again for your assistance with helping me build my dream board and for making my week better when I made the purchase. I'm beyond grateful! I got home that day realizing the fit was too narrow/tight for my high arched feet and made the decision to rerun the shoes. I went into road runner the next day, Wednesday, to return the shoes. (mind you I did not buy the membership because it was $19.99(?) plus $49.99 annually on top of the already $160 shoes.) This is when I was told by a manager named Alexis, that I had worn the shoes - when I in fact had NOT worn the shoes besides trying them on in store- and he wasn't going to give me my money back. I told him that he was wrong and needed to give me my money back. He gave me my money back very reluctantly ensuring me he didn't believe me. He told me he remembered me "not buying the membership" and that he remembered the shoes being clean and unworn on Tuesday. I left the store in tears over the interaction. Later, once I had calmed down, I realized I had taken photos of the shoes in store on Tuesday prior to buying them. It came to my realization that Gary and Alexis had sold me the floor sample shoe without telling me and then proceeded to blame me for the shoes being worn. After being treated so poorly, I will never be going back to road runner.

When I said, I'm gonna report this to the corporate Home office within 30 seconds he apologized to me and said "I'm gonna lose my job." Shortly thereafter we were checking out in line buying over $150 worth of items, and he came over and told the attendant to give us a 15% discount and continue to apologize profusely. This person was on the fringe of having of what appeared to be a mental breakdown -- and he is the manager. I told them I hope that Management reviews all of the security camera footage so they can see for themselves exactly what happened.

I had a fantastic experience at SoCal Skate Shop when I took my son to get his first skateboard and protective gear. The girl who assisted us was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She guided us through the selection process, ensuring we got the right skateboard and pads for my son. Her friendly attitude made the whole experience enjoyable. The shop had a wide variety of products, and the staff made it easy for us to find the perfect fit. I would highly recommend SoCal Skate Shop for anyone, especially beginners like my son. Best skate shop around. So much selection. Forget the mall clothing store shops. From my experience those sales people know little if anything about skateboarding. The people at Socal actually ride and will steer you in the right direction. Great customer service. Plus everything on their website is live stock in the store. Owner is a cool guy also. I brought in my 20 year old Scum board for a freshening up. Also bought two completes for my girls who are now into riding. read more

Eddie took the time to help us find the perfect setup based on his size, ability, and where we'd be riding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and just an all-around great guy. We took the new board out the very same day, and my son was absolutely shredding on it. Seeing how much fun he had made the trip completely worth it. The shop has a huge inventory, prices were very fair, and it's obvious these guys actually live and breathe bodyboarding--not just sell equipment. If you're into bodyboarding, this should be your first stop. I also noticed a couple of negative reviews complaining that inexpensive boards folded and the shop wouldn't replace them. As someone who's been around surfing and bodyboarding for a long time, that's not really how this works. Bodyboards come in a wide range of constructions and price points, from beginner models to high-performance boards with stringers and premium materials. The cheaper boards simply aren't designed to perform or last like higher-end models. That's a product choice, not a shop issue. No one expects a surf shop to replace a surfboard that gets broken in the waves, and bodyboards are no different. I'm a big believer in supporting local businesses, especially ones run by people who genuinely know their craft. 662 has earned a customer for life. We'll definitely be back.

I was lucky to learn about him from my racquetball partner Rich who is a local at the LA Fitness 3 miles away. Racquetball restringing is a very unique and personalized process, with many factors such as the weight of the racquet, type of strings, whether you hit the ball at 143.5 mph or just dink and place it and tension desired. He examined my two new racquets and recommended a specific string based on my style of play and stroke. He did a fantastic job. Not only that, I just picked up the racquets less than 24 hours after I dropped them off. WOW! I love the $30 restringing price per racquet plus $10 for a new grip. This lovely one stop shop store features bags, shoes & racquets ( tennis) and is open from 10-5 Monday to Saturday. I am ready for the World Indoor Racquetball Championship in Denver September 4-7,2025. Thank you so much Tyler. I could not be happier.

As someone who not only knows nothing about tennis but also have had zero exposure in this sport I was blown away with the kindness and thoughtful gesture.
