This was the most dismissive and disrespectful medical interaction I have ever experienced. I went in with significant ENT concerns and was already feeling anxious about my symptoms. He entered the room, delivered an extremely distressing prognosis in a blunt and insensitive manner, and left without offering reassurance, options, or meaningful discussion. He presented a diagnosis and emphasized an extreme worst-case outcome that caused significant alarm. Concerned, I sought opinions from multiple other ENT specialists, who expressed that his assessment and the severity he suggested were not medically supported, did not align with their clinical findings, and were not considered plausible. This was both shocking and deeply upsetting The way this information was communicated left me in tears. I will always remember how I felt in that moment, completely unsupported. Regardless of the clinical circumstances, empathy and compassion are fundamental in healthcare, and they were entirely lacking during this visit. After reading other reviews, it is evident that many patients have had similar experiences, which is deeply concerning. It is also troubling that this is the second time my review has been removed, raising questions about transparency. I would not recommend this provider to anyone. read more

After doing some research we landed here in Mr. Crockett's office. He is highly educated in his field and came to us by reference. He examined my LO's ears and said he had fluid behind the eardrum. He. mentioned potentially needing to put tubes in his ears if this round of antibiotics doesn't clear up the fluid and inflammation. We are scheduled for a follow up on Friday. Overall he was nice professional and did a great exam. It's not easy to work well under pressure when your patient is under three feet and is screaming at you. However Dr. Crockett is calm and professional. I highly recommend especially if you have a toddler! read more

I waited 4 weeks for this appointment only to be very disappointed. I had experienced extreme vertigo that put me in the hospital for 3 days. I felt dizzy for weeks and was totally dismissed by Dr Crockett. When I mentioned that my vertigo may be related to a sinus infection because I had all of the symptoms including swollen glands and sinuses, vertigo and pressure and pain In my sinuses. The hospital doctor and my primary doctor had trialed steroids and amoxicillin with very little relief. When I asked Sr Crockett, "Could it be my sinuses?", he said, your nose looks fine. He never bothered to do a scope. only looked inside my inner nostrils and ears. 3 days later I had significant post nasal discharge and vertigo. Finally got a higher level of antibiotics and I am on the mend. His attitude is completely dismissive and rude. Probably made a good amount of money just to look in my nose and ears and dismiss me. read more

I was at this place last week for issues related to ENT, and here is my frank and honest assessment: NOT RECOMMENDED. An overwhelmed office staff all around when it comes to administration where you can spend 20 minutes waiting on the phone, trying to navigate menus. But when it come to seeing a specialist, such as Dr. Dennis Crockett, you get to spend less than five minutes with him as you're being rushed to explain your symptoms and concerns. He was like a storm going thru. No smile, not a nice word or curious questions--about zero courtesy. On the bright side, and the one star in this review comes from the audiologist who took her time and did a comprehensive and a good assessment (her name is Tatiana I believe). The place seems like a mass production pizza or burger joint, where doctors seems to aim to see as many patients as possible, 10 patients per hour may be! Not my place. I am moving on to another doctor that comes highly recommended that I am seeing next week. What a waste of my co-pay and insurance money! P.S. Interesting is that Dr. Crockett describes on the website his involvement and volunteering with his community...How about honoring his oath of providing good care, and being attentive to his patients! it seems to me that it is all about the money. read more

I'm very familiar with the issue I'm having with my nasal drainage in the back of my throat & told him everything I had tried to fix the problem & he proceeded to tell me to do all of the things I had just told him I had done. Do not recommend. My son put a bead in his ear and this doctor want to put him under general anesthesia to get it out. I went to another doctor and they used a vacuum to remove it in less than a minute. Do not go here! read more

I accompanied my daughter to my grandson's appointment. Dr. Crockett graduated from Harvard, and his expertise is ENT. He is very direct, and does not mince his words. If you have questions, ask, and he will answer them. I did not have a problem with the doctor. However, as a doctor I would professionally train my office staff. I do however have a problem with the front desk staff, including the unprofessional supervisor. All the ladies were not helpful. One was chewing gum like a cow chewing its cud. Another stated that she was busy and could not check out my grandson, and another would not even look up to see us. One of the front ladies stated that my daughter would have to talk to the manager, but "she was late.". Ten minutes later the front desk manager showed up in UNPROFESSIONAL DRESS: sandal flip flops, a strapless dress that look like a night shirt, and her hair looked like she just crawled out of bed. This office staff need professional training STAT. The front desk manager needs to wear office attire that matches the front desk: YOUR A MANAGER. DRESS LIKE IT and ACT LIKE IT. Also, front desk people, smile, act like you enjoy your job, be helpful, don't chew gum, and just go out of your way and BE NICE. read more

Caused acute angle glaucoma with steroid nasal spray. Encouraged use after surgery. These cause eye pressure to rise. Can't breathe through nose swollen passages- just use nose spray. Going to look for turbinate reduction elsewhere read more

I have been treated by Drs. Jacobsen and Bredencamp for ear wax removal. Both doctors were fine. Previously, in Phoenix, I also had good experiences with ENT doctors. This time I chose Dr. Crockett at the Laguna Hills office. I have seen him twice and my ear is still blocked. Actually, after the second time, I was returning to the office and ran into him in the hallway. He again vacuumed my ear and it continues to be blocked. I will find another ENT. I wonder if these multiple visits permit multiple charges through my health plan. I have paid twice for no results. I am angry I failed to check reviews in Yelp before making an appointment. read more

I went in to see Crockett to have a routine ear wax removal from my ears as I wear hearing aids. After waiting 30 min in the room he finally walks in. I told him my left ear was plugged with ear wax but both ears needed wax removal. He spent 3 minutes cleaning the wrong ear and then left the room. After 20 minutes he did not come back. I opened the door and was told that I was done. He was nowhere to be found. I left with nothing done for the ear wax. Production line medicine at its worst. read more

One of the worst visit experiences I've ever had. He said all of 2 sentences to me during the entire appt, and when I asked him about after care he couldn't be bothered and had the nurse come answer my questions. It was clear from his tone and body language he didn't want to be there at all, and that I was an inconvenience to him (at best). Although I think Dr Crockett is a very good doctor, it is very difficult to make an appt with his office. I tried this morning for almost 2 hours to cancel an appt because I am sick. I was cut off 3 times while on hold. When you call back, there is always 15-16 calls ahead of you. I will not go back to his office. I will probably be billed for a missed appt. You cannot even leave a voice mail to cancel. So disappointed with this office! read more

Their office is an absolute mess. My two year old has waited an hour and twenty minutes to be told I need to call our insurance to verify-even though we verified with the office multiple days before. My little boy should be at the park playing, not spending two hours in the car then two hours in a waiting room. We drive an hour for this doctor and both times we have verified insurance over the phone, given copays, and are told everything is good to go over the phone, then are turned away because they can't find our authorization or insurance once we're in the office. If our insurance would refer us anywhere else we would happily take it. It's very difficult on our two year old son to drive an hour one way, then wait over an hour because the office doesn't communicate with their scheduling service. This has happened twice now to our family who is awaiting surgeries for our son since JULY. If you can help it, do not come here. read more

This is a terrible doctor that doesn't know anything about what he refers or how to properly refer it. I'm not shocked at all about Dr. Crockett's poor reputation. I actually expected to see less stars. This idiot caused delays in seriously needed treatment and put our child at risk. He's cancelled in our book. Came to see Dr Crocket, since Supance is retiring. Supance came highly recommended for my 4 yo who has chronic ear infections, but front desk put me with Crocket. Ok, no prob. We came in today 15 early to fill new patient papers. It was roughly 10am. There were approximately 60 people in tne waiting room all looking annoyed. There's 4 places to sign in. I peeked around all the people standing at the front to find where to put our name. I finally asked a man behind the counter and he pointed at another woman across the way to check in with. She was with a customer and I stood and waited. Another woman handed me clipboard to sign in. As I'm signing, I asked what the current wait time was for Crocket. She said he was about 45 minutes behind. When I asked why, she said "because everyone gets quality care and he sits and talks to everyone". I said "ok then this is not the doctor for me. I need a dr that will be timely." She got super snappy and rolled her eyes at me, in front of everyone. She asked if I wanted to reschedule. I asked if this is how late he usually is and she said yes. I said no I won't be returning. She goes "great! You're all set" with a huge sarcastic grin on her face. Her name is Christy and she's supposedly the "manager". As a business owner myself, this appears to be a wonderful training opportunity for Christy. Will not be returning and will be telling my pediatrician about this. read more

Excellent doctor very professional. He took care of my elderly mothers medical issue and I recommend him most definitely.

My husband and I went there for blueprint and the process was quick as long as you have set an appointment already.

Dr Crockett is affable and relaxed. Very professional at the same time. I felt like I could trust him right away.

After filling out my paperwork I was seen within minutes. Dr Crockett listened to what I had tried and immediately gave me a CT scan to diagnose my condition. He sent me to get an MRI and a more detailed CT scan which confirmed his diagnosis of my rare dangerous condition. He then turned me over to the surgeon in their office and the neurosurgeon that they work with for surgery. I am extremely pleased with the care I received and would recommend them. read more

Our pediatrician said our baby is tongue tied and referred us to Dr. Crocket, so we took our 1 week old baby to get his frenulum cut. Dr. Crocket cut it and left the room immediately after. When we looked at our son's tongue at home however, he still looked tongue tied so we called the doctor's office to inquire how the doctor knows if he cut enough or not, and they told us to come back for the doctor to look at it. We went back four days later and it was only then that the doctor told us that he cut one thin portion but not a thicker portion which is why the tongue tie was indeed still there. So he made a second cut. I strongly feel that he should have reviewed what he did and noticed this the first time before just quickly leaving. Instead, my son had to be cut twice. Not only was my son cut twice within four days, at my son's pediatrician checkup at almost 3 weeks old, the pediatrician said our son still looks tongue tied, but since my son never had a problem with latching for milk, our pediatrician this time just said to leave it alone and that hopefully it won't cause a speech problem when he's older. I'm thinking Dr. Crocket's office only cared about charging us money for the procedure. read more

Oh dear, where do I start?  First, with an apology for this review is many months late.  I have a valid excuse, but I won't bore you with it here.  I am sorry for the delay. I could write a book about this incredible Dr. Dennis Crockett and also his wonderful medical assistant by the name of Rebecca. I should point out that Dr. Crockett and the great Rebecca took incredible care of my mother.  They treated her with the utmost respect, care, and medical wisdom.   Her ear pain was resolved and she finally had relief.  She saw several doctors before, but it was Dr. Dennis Crockett and medical assistant by the name of Rebecca who were able to cure my mom's hard to treat ear pain. They followed up with my mom and made sure her medications and tests were completed perfectly. If you have ear, nose, throat issues then be seen by Dr. Dennis Crockett. Dr. Crockett told me he was prescribing me oral steroids but a quick google search later indicated he had actually prescribed me antibiotics... really bad care.
