I was especially excited to see some nostalgic scenes such as Hills , Blockbuster and the SNICK couch . The girls had a lot of fun (and some bickering ) posing in front of the more kid friendly backgrounds . The workers were very nice while explaining the process to our group . Other areas looked like they were currently under construction or needed some fixing . Overall , an hour was more than enough time to get our selfie groove on and I would recommend it to others looking for a unique experience.

It's in the Tops plaza on Main Street across from UB South. The fee was around $20 per person. There were many different areas decorated in cool or interesting ways where you could take a selfie. Each person after paying was given a clicker. You're supposed to sync into the Bluetooth for your clicker. You're supposed to put your phone on the holder. There is a halo light around it. Technically when you hit the upper button for iPhones, or the lower button, if you have an android, your camera is supposed to take a photo of you. There has never been more than 10 people in the business at once using the clickers so none of our clickers were working. We were all bouncing off of our friend's clickers so we had to take our selfies the old school way, which was fine with me. Ray is the owner and he is going to work on the clicker issue. He is pictured in the Hills selfie with me. (He was behind the booth selling popcorn and alcohol. I asked if I could take a selfie with him to promote his business. Ray's main goal is to raise money for local charities. He had a DJ there too playing awesome music!!! All-in-all, this business is really cool and I'm glad I had the chance to check it out!! I hope Ray has success.

WOULD HAVE LIKED: - The exhibits could be more appealing to adults instead of students. Many of the exhibits seem to be designed for elementary and middle school students rather than adults. - A more reasonable price. The current $23 fee appears excessive considering the value provided during a visit.

The exhibit rooms are spacious with interesting facts explaining what you're seeing from woven baskets to a giant polar bear. We explored space and the time of the dinosaurs. I was there with a 6 month old and I have to say they have it set up nice for parents to care for young ones from places for diaper changes to breast feeding. Impressive. There's a large room for quiet time and a snack bar for all your children's needs. Easy free parking is a plus, no hassle getting in or out. We did go up to the rooftop deck but it was closed, so was the planetarium but it didn't matter there was plenty to see and do. The Buffalo Museum of Science is FUN!

I brought my sister with me and we tried a bunch of different things. Listed below in order of preference: 1. Korean BBQ Chicken Bowl from Lomo Lomo food truck. Wow, this was delicious! Nice sized portion and very reasonable ($7). We also had the ramen and asparagus salad here, but I felt that was lacking a salty ingredient. I will be on the lookout for this truck in the future. 2. Maria's Muffuletta sandwich from Maria's Bene Cibo food truck. This was my sandwich choice. The meat was really high quality and the olive spread tasted great. Sandwich was served on a seeded DiCamillo roll, yum! Customer service from the truck was also top notch. 2. (yes, tie for 2)Beef brisket sandwich from Fat Bob's food truck. This was my sister's sandwich choice. There were huge chunks of meat piled on the sandwich, which compared to others I've had that were sliced, made this way better. I did think it needed some extra bbq sauce, which was probably available at the truck, but we walked away to find a table to eat at before trying it. Also served with a little piece of cornbread. 3. Our least favorite purchase was the truffle fries from Loose Cannon food truck. Unfortunately, these fell flat. We were served a big portion of frozen French fries with a scant amount of truffle oil on them. You could barely taste the oil. For $8, this was highway robbery. They would be better off making this with fresh cut fries. Everyone seemed to be having a great time at this event. We enjoyed our food, some blackbird cider and were out before it rained. Looking forward to attending this event again in the future!

Earlier in the day, the news mentioned that a few thousand people would be attending and when I got there, I was really surprised at how spacious the event felt even though there was such a big crowd. There were so many food trucks to choose from and there were also three drink tents set up. Though some of the lines were long, they moved very quickly. The live music was great and they had games set up like corn hole and 2 big Connect 4 games. All of the patrons and workers were friendly and at the end of the day, we all just came out to support the zoo and have a great time. All proceeds went to the Buffalo Zoo and it was worth every penny. Definitely looking forward to this event next year!

The rec room locations in Canada had really terrible reviews and we decided to look local. Vivid's website was pretty easy to use and book our appointments, we went with the $30 pp premium for an hour (all the standard games + some others). I suggest coming earlier to get used to the controls, it's a little different. We had so much fun, highly recommended. I do love the free classic arcade games in the front that we can play as we wait. Thoughtful touch. Wish it was located more downtown near all the bars and nightlife, this place would be an even bigger hit. Looking forward to the new developments. I'd def come back again.

I forgot the name of the games that I played, but definitely try the one where you shoot the robots. It was so exciting and a bit scary as the game went on. You had the ability to move around and shoot them. Another game that I played was fighting off the demons. Had a blast killing them!! But the one down side of it was that, we weren't able to move around. Just station at one spot, but it was still fun. I'm probably the worst gamer...not coordinated at all and have a high chance that I will die first. But it was pretty easy to pick up, so I can imagine that anyone like me can have fun too. Before it was our turn, we were waiting on a group of 3 kids. Anyone could see their excitement in playing the game. It's perfect for all ages, and another way for parents to bond with the children. The customer service was great! I believe his name was Ken... Could be wrong. But he was super helpful for us beginners.

The venue is inside which can be nice for the cooler/rainy nights but inside is very hot and sticky. It is $40 pp, $55 pp if you want to skip the lines. CASH ONLY. But there is an ATM. We did not get the "fast pass" and the wait for each of the 5 haunted houses was about 30-40 minutes each. The makeup/props/costumes were very good. However, we did not get a scare once. It felt most time was spent on props and less focus on scaring people. Two haunted houses we walked through we didn't see a single cast member. Is it because were in our mid 20s and are too old for this? We found it overpriced, hot, and uneventful. We would've left early but we kept thinking "well maybe the next one might be better". It is not America's #1 scare park.
