Poor customer service and workmanship. Had a new home pre-wired for security. Windows had switches and no magnets. Asked where magnets are and was told I should have ordered the pre-wire trim! What? That little difference was not disclosed at the sales meeting. I asked if they could provide a part number for the missing magnets and was told no but if I hired them to install the alarm they would provide magnets. What? How do you provide magnets when you don't have a part number? Lastly, this contractor did not document where wires were run to for motion sensors, keypads, siren, etc. How the heck are you supposed to find this stuff without a marked up drawing? It would take way too much time to trace all those. I do not recommend hiring these guys for your new construction project and I am surprised that Maracay Homes maintains a relationship with this company. read more

Wow . Horrible company to deal with. My experience was exactly like all the other negative comments from women and men alike. My best advice is run as fast as you can and don't look back. If you want to ignore the negative reviews then you deserve whatever games these characters play on you. They have a habit of leaving before jobs are fished. Had this company perform a small task of retro installing speakers for my home. In the process put a hole a wall that they were not even working with and then said they were not responsible for the damage. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSTALLER. They were the provider our builder used for security and AV. Initial service was great. However any follow up services we needed help with - we were on our own. I emailed for assistance with the security system and the TV - nobody would respond. When I called for assistance the attitude I was met with was that I was bothering them and they were too busy and could not help me. We canceled our security services through them because they could not help us when the system was not working properly. Definitely do not recommend this company. read more

Dennis Sage will not be there when you need them. After hours wont call you back. The dispatch hung up on me when I didn't remember a passcode. The police didn't show up after our alarm started going off so if we were in danger we wouldn't have had any help. When I spoke with the owner he said that the service (not provided) was normal and laughed at my frustrations. So unless you want bad customer service who will just laugh at you because you are stuck in a contract I would find another company. read more

The installation crew came out and installed my new system and left without programming completely or showing me how to use the system. The crew had to come back three more times over the next month to fix the incomplete programming. The sales person, Steve, only cared about collecting the payment and never once asked if the system worked or I was satisfied. I asked for a credit of less than 10% of the overall job due to their incompetence and having a month of my system not working properly and was told they did everything right (coming from Steve and the owner, Dennis) and no credit was warranted even though they kept sending their crew out to complete the install. Nice job pre-wiring a home and labeling everything with marker. It all rubbed off and was hell trying to figure everything out.

Just be warned save yourself from someone that only sees you as a burden and not a customer. I was forced to use this company through my home builder, and I wish this wasn't the case because I'm sure they got quite a chunk of change for their work. We had an issue with two warranty items that broke and when I contacted customer service, they were terribly difficult to work with. The entire time he treated be as a burden and not as a customer. I feel this guy was very difficult to work with and a lack of communication on all ends (sure he wished I would just give up). I had to prove to him what the warranty said to get anything replaced (he said he "read" the warranty, and nothing would be replaced. I had to send a picture of the warranty itself to prove to him that he odiously didn't read the warranty and was just lying to us). Then he charged me $90 to have them fix this item, the warranty is loosely written but it sounds to me like they should fix it free of charge: "Within two years from the date of first purchase, should our powerbrush, including the cogged belt and LED lamp fail to function due to faulty workmanship or material, simply bring it back to your authorized dealer where they will replace or repair it (our option)." From the warranty I understand he didn't want to have a loss, but it isn't our fault this broke and I'm sure he made quite a lot off us originally. Anyway, he should of charged all that to Honeywell not us unless he double dipped and got paid twice. I'm so frustrated with this guy and that we gave him so much money originally for him to treat us as a burden and be so disrespectful. The sales rep Rick was great and very friendly and the service person that came out to replace a warranty item was also great. That's about it. Really regretting this purchase! read more
