I'm updating my review for the year because honestly some things have changed and they have been for the good. Staff is still great and helpful. They are offering more discounted days during the year I feel where I can buy the uniforms I need. Also they still have fun out of some items however now they offer to order it to your home with free shipping. This is great especially if you buy your uniforms early as I normally do. My kids uniforms are also lasting a bit longer. They don't break as often and I have managed to save some for the next year. So the quality is better. The uniforms are still pricey however they are all embroidered and I know that can get expensive. If you go on discount days you really save a lot. If you order online make sure you order ahead since some things are back ordered. read more

What a horrible uniform company I ordered all my uniform in May and my daughter still doesn't have her sweater. This is ridiculous. The shoes (penny loafers) I paid 67 are horrible. Excellent customer service. They certainly go above and beyond to help you out. The gentleman I worked with today named Tyler was phenomenal. My only complaint is the prices, which is why I only left a few stars. Store is way too expensive overall - especially considering my child only attends a charter school. Yes...I'm sure this place sporadically offers discounts here and there, but I've never benefited from any, and we've used this store for the past 3 years straight. We have no choice. "Promotions" are useless. A single shirt can range anywhere from $27-$29, and this is for my 7-year-old. Jackets are $50, and a full set of uniforms can easily run over $400. I would give this a negative if I could but I don't have an option for a uniform store & the quality is indeed good but the negatives are so many!!! This is the only private school uniform store for Dade county...does that put into perspective the madness? I despise uniform shopping time. Let's start with the store itself. Again there is ONE only ONE. It's nearly organized per school & grade level, you'll find the school uniform list & the staff is helpful. If you go during the year you're usually in & out quick, no guarantee that they'll have what you need though. You can order always online order if you know what you need, but you can order in May & still won't receive your order until August which by then most times your child has grown & that's a whole other issue. The quality of the uniform is great but for the pricing you would think they would offer at least a coupon for the absurd amount of wait time. I don't care for the constant apologies of the delivery taking so long, offer me an incentive at least. But of course they know there is no other option so they go off that & don't give you anything. So prepare to spend a pretty penny, & wait a ridiculous amount of time for your items which you'll likely have to spend money on other items the school allows while you wait. Good luck ! read more

Uniforms have been in back order since June and no shipment date on the remaining items. Local phone does not work and national CS line hangs up on you. Unfortunately, we are going to have to deal with this headache for the next 6 years. Quality of pants received is subpar and a lint magnet. Trying to understand why all the private schools in Miami still use Dennis. Is there no other option? I was on the ball this year and went to the store 7 weeks ago to get my sons uniforms for his new HS. I was able to leave the store with a couple of items but everything else needed to be ordered. I wasn't worried because how long could it possibly take. Well a couple of things trickled in but I'm still waiting for a pair of pants and more importantly his blazer which he needs for school mass. He actually needed it last week for his ID picture but had to borrow another students. I tried calling the store this morning but the recorded tells you to call a customer service number because they cannot answer any questions. Called the number, was placed on hold and then was hung up on. So I got into my car and went into the store, which was of course packed with people so I asked for a supervisor. One lady walked by knowing I was looking for a supervisor and didn't say anything. Then suddenly she came up to me and asked if I needed help. I said, are you a supervisor and she said well I'm an assistant manager. I explained the problem and she said unfortunately, there was nothing she could do. She couldn't even check anything and advised me to call the customer service number after 5 PM because that's when they pick up I called the number after 5, was put on hold for 21 minutes and then a recoding advised me there is no customer service agent available and was hung up on again. What are we supposed to do??? How is this any type of customer service. I don't need a response here saying sorry for the inconvenience I need my missing items. read more

Where do I even begin? Uniforms constantly on back order, even during the school year nothing gets replenished. Online orders take 6-8 weeks to ship. They blame COVID for their lack of inventory but I never had an issue with my previous uniform store who also had to embroider. They always have an excuse. Totally over priced for the quality. I mean I have no choice but to love this store as this is the only store that I can get my son's uniform from. Lol. On the two occasions that I have come, I have had a good experience. Before Wednesday, I hadn't been there in two years and the staff was just as pleasant as I remembered. They also have a good quality of clothes because I don't have to buy uniforms every year. The store is divided by the school names. You can also purchase shoes, bottoms, lunch bags and thermos'. However I cannot attest to the quality of the bottoms and shoes. I purchase elsewhere. Service is dismal. There is no one to help you with the selection or answer any questions. The staff is rude if you try to ask them something. There is no inventory. Uniforms were ordered over six weeks ago and still have not arrived. I rarely write reviews but this year given the lack of customer service at the store I shop I feel I need to at least say something. The store personnel this year seems to be less helpful and caring than previous years. On top of this there was absolutely no inventory in the store in the size I needed for my school. I ordered on line in June and am still waiting for the basics, shorts and pants. I have been to the store to return some of the things I finally received but honestly the employees are extremely lacking in what customer service is. I have always been able to place an order with the cashier but tis lady simply told me I could do it on line. Yes I know that but you as a store employee should have assisted and placed in the order for me. There was also an issue as to whether or or not I had received a refund for a pair of shorts I physically had taken with me and she bluntly told me there were not mine. Very very rude. I do not know if these comments are shared with the store personnel but please they need to be more pleasant, helpful and understanding. Worst store ever! They never have the sizes you need. Sizes they do have are extremely weird and off. For example, my daughter is an average size 10 year old and she fits into a 6 and a 14? Like what? Skirts are super long and poor quality. Buttons are very difficult to put on and off for an adult so imagine a child. Extremely expensive! I ordered her uniform in April for her new school and it is now August, school about to start, and have not received my complete order yet. But they get away with everything because no competition. School forces you to buy only from them. I will definitely petition my principal to switch uniform stores. Only positive thing I can say is the workers there are very nice. My son is starting HS in Columbus which is a private school and uniforms are strictly enforced. Coming from the public school system we were able to shop around and purchase polo shirts at any store and buy patches at Ibiley. In private you have no option but to go to ONE STORE which makes it unfair but that's what it is for us. The quality of clothes is not the best but good enough for it's purpose. I ended up spending $400 for 4 dress shirts, belt, 3 pants, and a pair of hush puppies. Once inside I did notice they were very organized and had all school uniforms separated by schools. I was assisted by a young man that had a list of all things required for my sons school. The fitting room was also spacious. NO LINES, but I came early to avoid the craziness. read more

Dennis Uniforms is at the top of my list for the most undesirable places to do business with. Thank goodness the ordeal of shopping here is only once a year. They never have any of the merchandise you're shopping for and the online orders take forever to ship. When you call their customer service people have no information relative to your order that is of any value. You are forced by the school to shop here and since they have zero competition they take advantage and could care less about keeping their customers happy. Too bad there's no way of giving a zero rating because even a one star is more than they deserve. As far as the quality of the uniforms... that's terrible also. Why does the customer go in then?? My order is still delayed and school has started. For the past 4 years they have no inventory in store (why have a store) and everything you order online is on back order not for a few weeks but for MONTHS! Good service but sizes run strange here. You can buy different sizes and have your child try it on and bring it back to exchange for correct size but don't expect to get your money back. It is incredible that this place even manages to have one star. With four children and three different schools, I frankly have no idea how this business has such a monopoly on school uniforms with lead times that can easily go past four months. We placed an order of over $1350 the week of April 28th (4 months ago and it is now the week before school starts) and we still have in backorder basic khaki pants and standard skirts. Customer service is non-existent and when you make the trek to their store there is no inventory and the staff takes ZERO accountability for the disasters of their online sales. I have been shopping at Dennis Uniforms for years and overall, have had a good shopping experience. The employees have always been courteous and helpful. However, in April of 2023, I ordered 2 uniform pants and we are now in October of 2023 and the pants still have not arrived. I have called customer service numerous times to follow up on a delivery date and I am told the items are still on back order. It has been 6 months and in my opinion, this is unacceptable. I also visited the store in person in June and July and inventory was extremely low. I was not able to purchase any items required by my daughter's school because the store did not have it available. I have been coming to AA Uniform for the past 3 years. This year I am just completely annoyed by them entirely! 1. This is the Private School Uniform Mafia! The schools are getting some sort of kickback and parents are forced to come to this ONE and ONLY store to get uniforms. 2. Prices are ridiculous! $175 for 3 shirts and 3 shorts. My sister in law paid $800 for 10 sets for her 2 girls. 3. The quality. Rough, hard, the white is see through and they shrink after 3 washes. Any AA Uniform veteran knows buy only 3 sets now because they will fade by December! 4. I am having a "back order" issue. I was told my daughters uniforms will arrive August 15th, then August 20th, I just called and I would told next week. Furthermore I couldn't even have them delivered to my house. They wanted to charge me $11 for shipping. When I go to any store if they don't have an item in stock they gladly offer shipping to your home for free. This is the worst uniform store I have ever been in! I'd rather go stand in the line of 100 people at Ibiley because at least you can buy what you want there. Every year I ask for help to find girl's pants that fit my daughter, and every year they direct me to boy's pull on pants that they claim are unisex. This year they were completely out of the size she wanted to try on, so the helpful suggestion was just to order. Which would be great except there was no sample to try on to see if that would be the size we want to order. I pointed up to the top rack and asked if they could check up there for the four pairs supposedly in stock, and the employee tried to tell me those were shorts and refused to go up to look. The cashier asked at checkout if I found everything I was looking for. When I said not really, she just smiled and kept ringing the sale. Sizing is all over the place and products don't last very long & considering the prices they should at the very least last a school year. Everything is always out of stock or back ordered. AA uniforms is, hands down, the best uniform store ever!!! They are always reviewing their practice to make it better. I always plan to buy my children's uniforms during the non busy season, of course, this never happens. However, there are always plenty of employees around to help you find what you are looking for. For the price, honestly your better off going to Walmart and getting the logo printed somewhere else. My toddler only wore one of their shirts twice and it's already coming apart. This place is a rip-off! The quality of the garments sold is sub-China quality with Saks or Nordstrom pricing! You are forced by the school to buy these garbage quality garments at 3x of the price! $27 for a $12/shirt. $35/ for a pair of garbage khaki pants or shorts and $50/ for a sweatshirt.
