Uniform Advantage has been here for quite some time with proven success. They just underwent some renovations and the interior of the store looks nice but extremely packed with clothing racks. They do give discounts to individuals who work for the baptist health system, as well as police and fireman. They are affiliated with a gentleman that does all of their embroidery. Initially it's expensive to get set up even if you provide all the software. Afterwards continued service isn't so bad. They do keep your info on file for future orders. They do good work here and I'm happy with the results. So far everyone here is nice and I'll continue my business with them. read more

Located right across the street from my old stomping grounds it is the best place to get anything and everything for your hospital/medical office uniform needs. They have almost every brand of scrubs including lab coats and jackets. They have every color as well. Baptist employees get a 10 percent discount I believe. So if your uniform is for baptist that is a plus. They offer many hospital embroidery or if you want something embroidered they can create the mold for you and you can have it done repeatedly at any time. My hubby does that for his company. If you sign up for their email or home address they send continuous discounts or coupons you can use. You even get a coupon for your birthday. Staff is friendly as well. This is the place to go to for all nursing uniforms and equipment needs. The staff is friendly, helpful, accommodating. I'm new to Florida and usually order my scrubs online, I was told the wrong information on what colors to wear as a uniform for work and needed scrub pants in a hurry for my first day. The online order would take longer than 3 business days that I needed my uniform by and I found Uniform Advantage on yelp. The place was not difficult to find. They greeted me as soon as I walked in through the door and helped me find what I was looking for right away. The style I was looking for wasn't in their inventory but they were efficient in offering to order it for me online and quickly helped me find a similar style and offered up some other recommendations on what I might like. They have a great selection on tops, pants, shoes, stethoscopes, shears, all nursing or medical first responder needs. I was compelled to write this review because so many previous ones are so negative, really dragging down the rating of this store. I must admit, I was almost scared to come shopping here, since all the bad reviews made it seem so dreadful. Friday night at around 6pm I stopped by to shop for some scrubs. A nice young man called Geilor ( thank you receipt) helped me find sizes in the back ad was more than pleasant with me and my MANY requests (I'm picky, its true). I returned the next day to make some exchanges and again he helped me, always super polite and extremely helpful. I would shop here again if the need arose. read more

The store has a large selection. I ordered 2 sets of scrubs but I wasn't told I was paying extra for hospital logo as well. I ordered at UA online and paid for embroidery with hospital logo and name. Within a week I received the item with packing slip that says "embroidery name and logo" yet the item only had logo and no name. The packing slip had an unpaid return label which means I would pay for that again... Unacceptable. Then I called and UA said j would get paid return label in email (got it) & new correct embroidery item within 2 weeks. Hopefully this is true & I will change my rating. Update: received new sweater as promised. Rating changed! read more

Great place for hospital uniforms - scrubs & lab coats. Got my son a lab coat & safety glasses for a Halloween costume. It's on the expensive side (minus one star) but they have a wide selection of sizes that you can actually try on. Staff was very helpful getting us what we needed. I'd come back. read more

There must have been a change in management since the posters below left those 1 star reviews because for me it was a 5 star experience. I was immediately greeted by Denisse (stole Gaby's idea of looking at the receipt lol) and let her know that this was the third uniform store I've been to looking for the Cherokee brand scrubs because no one had a particular model (item 4876) was looking for in stock. She asked me why I was looking for that particular style and I informed her that I had bottoms I just needed tops that matched, but the other style numbers just didn't fit m right. A large was way to snug especially for my big ass and the XL was like wearing a huge pajama top. She showed me a different style number and boom 2 minutes later I'm in the fitting room trying on a large scrub top that fit me perfectly. Denisse asked me where I worked and after letting her know I'm a Baptist Boy she gave me my 10% discount. Woohoo! Didn't even have to ask for it. Overall it was a great experience and though even after the discount the price came out to be more than Amazon I still felt pleased with my purchase. I'll be back when I need some more sets. I made the mistake of purchasing an item online. I immediately tried to cancel to no avail. I then had to fill out a lengthy form in order to return the items. This place is absolutely awful. It took them not one, not two but three times to correctly embroider a lab coat. The staff is NOT friendly and they were not apologetic when confronted with the issue. It was a huge waste of time going to this place. Another issue I had is that they didn't even embroider the correct lab coat that I had tried on and purchase in the store. They must have switched it up at some point. They couldn't follow simple instructions on the embroidery even after emailing the manager and writing it out for her. Never returning to this place. I would rather pay full price at the university than come here and deal with these people and their incompetence. read more

Purchased three smalls. 2 were the same size one was not even close to a small. Went to return on a work day, arrived at 9am when they open and store is still closed. I have been buying uniforms here since I was a nursing student. Before that, I was a waitress and bought my aprons here. The service is always great, they will order items when they don't have your size and I can say that the staff is very attentive.
