Jim and the team from Dennis Water District did a fantastic job moving the water main supply at my home. Team was careful not to damage the lawn or a "favorite" shrub digging the hole, completed the move and finished the job all in one day. At the end it was hard to tell they had been there, really quite amazing job. They also coordinated with my plumber to reconnect after the water main entry point into the house was moved. Really cant say enough, from scheduling to start to finish a great job. read more

They did not follow that request and instead charged my credit card $1,157.66, even though I understood my card would only be used if the carrier refused to pay. They did not provide the estimate to the insurance company/adjuster as requested. When I contacted the office to address these issues and request proper documentation/process, the communication was frustrating and the office staff was rude and unhelpful. They got majority of the water up within an hour and were very informative the entire time about the process. Steve came back a few days later and helped me get the rugs outside that were still wet. Again very informative and talked through the steps. Jared and Colby came this past Tuesday and started the Demo process. I came home to downstairs that was left clean even though they took sheet rock down. Very professional and clean through the whole thing. They went through our stuff and put what they could back neatly and tossed the wet stuff. Colby did great making sure things were placed back neatly and not in a shamble mess. He even saved my Christmas tree! Jared did great demoing the walls and treating everywhere to make sure we were good to go! Jared and Colby came back today and took all their equipment back and let me tell you, they went above and beyond and cleaned their wet footprints off the floor even though I said not to worry. Jared was even on his hands and knees making sure the house was clean. JB has also been very communicative and going over next steps and keeping me informed. Hopefully you never have to go through a flood but if you do I HIGHLY recommend oceanside restoration.

Chris did a walk through and gave us a price, $250, asking us to mail a check in advance, which we did. We arrived the next week to find our refrigerator unplugged (necessitating hours of cleaning, recycling, shopping), a broken picture frame with several shards of glass on the floor, dust under couches, an uncleaned enclosed front porch (which he said he couldn't open, but never called to ask about the latch, which just requires turning), and several uncleaned cabinets. When I called to express disappointment, he told me the place was a "pigsty," that he had to "inhale mouse feces" and that he had done me a "favor" to even clean it. This is in spite of being aware of the condition of the cottage - including the mouse droppings from the winter, which we discussed - and in spite of having seen it before quoting the price. He refused to offer any apology or compensation, other than for the price of the condiments from the fridge. Over three phone calls/voicemails, he continued to disparage the house, stating that he was used to cleaning cottages and multimillion dollar mansions, but my mother's place was "filthy." In his last message, he chalked it up to "misunderstanding" and "different standards." We have had cleaners do the one-time spring cleaning before, with no problems. We are also experienced with employing cleaners at our year-round home, with satisfaction for all parties. We were stunned to receive nothing but derogatory and defensive statements, especially when Chris had assessed the house before the job! The place is actually tidy, other than the mouse droppings, cobwebs and dust, which are part of the spring cleaning job. It seems that Chris and Kathy's resentment over the work turned in to sloppy service. I would not recommend Sandy Chores to anyone.
