His knowledge and expertise around the Austin market was incredibly valuable to us when selling our home on the East side. His wise counsel was much appreciated - especially when I would want to do something that he didn't quite agree with. Instead of just agreeing with me to get through the conversation or push back too hard, he would calmly and professionally present his viewpoint and recommendation, and THEN let us decide. This kind of technique is much appreciated during what can be a very stressful time of trying to sell you house - particularly in a soft, buyers market. His approach and advice always came down to a couple of things: extensive knowledge of the market (local, state, and national) and an analysis that was logical and reasoned. There's no off-the-cuff speculation with Darrell. He doesn't have a crystal ball, and perhaps doesn't need one anyway. When I would reach out, he would get back with me via a phone call or text very quickly. Past realtors couldn't be bothered and we wouldn't hear from them for hours. That kind of responsiveness is incredibly valuable. One of the things we found most impressive was how hard he worked for his commission. We no longer live in Texas, and simply couldn't be on hand to take care of all the little things that would crop up at the home the time that it was on the market. The guy went out of his way so often that I started to feel a bit guilty sometimes! There's above and beyond.....and then there's Darrell.
