Outstanding customer service. I stopped to ask about ball joints and one of the sales reps (Edgar) actually climbed under my truck and diagnosed another issue that I couldn't figure out - a harmonic balancer seal that was bad (source of my oil leak). He had me do some steering tests and then made recommendations. He looked up everything I needed and showed me options including tool rentals and tips how to do the work. I successfully completed the ball joint work and planning to do the harmonic balanced and steering linkage next. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful--something I've never experienced at other auto parts stores (certainly not to this degree). A great place to acquire auto parts and Covid -19! The management of this store does not enforce the Bozeman mask rule. There were 2 yahoos there today from the public with no mask in sight and one staff member, who, when speaking on the phone decided that our health is not important and he could take his mask off. Don't support businesses that care more about money than public health. I really hate to say it, but go to Walmart instead. They enforce the mask rule! read more

Despite covering their front door with signs saying "mask required by law", not a single employee nor customer wore masks when I visited this afternoon. Waited in line to purchase parts but walked out when I realized I was the only person in the store wearing a mask. Did not feel safe enough to complete transaction. read more

I am a single woman. I got pulled over last night for a tail light out. Cop was super nice and said to swing by OReilly's and they would probably replace it for me. Great. Take off work early today to make sure that I go in the daylight. Walk in and the clerk looked in a hurry to get rid of me before I even said what I needed. He was very short with me, but at least went to get the bulbs. On his way back from grabbing the bulbs his (manager/owner?) Handed him a folding knife and said here keep it. My clerk said, "really?" And the other guy said, "yeah the customer left it, its yours now." I was thinking maybe they could wait 15 minutes before dividing their loot, but on the flip side if I want to get rid of anything, I will just drop it at Oriellys. Taken care of before I get back in my vehicle. Not sure if this works on ex-husbands but might be worth a shot. The clerk then came back with my bulbs (or to see if anything would fall out of my pockets). He was pretty excited about his new knife. I kindly said that the officer told me that they might be willing to replace it for me. The clerk snapped, "nope we don't do that" as of i were an idiot. Again he was trying to get rid of me fast. I asked him if he knew of any place that I could take it to have the bulb put in? The clerk said, "I don't know! Someone with liability insurance. We could break a clip and get in trouble so we don't do it". I found it odd that he was completely unconcerned with the fact that he took a customers property knowing it did not belong to him but was in a complete panic that he might break a clip by helping me. So, A) whoever left your knife at the ORIELLYS in Bozeman by Albertsons, go back and get it. People that rude should not have sharp pointy things. B) is there a registry for places that have liability insurance for clips to be able to change a bulb? In 15 years I have gone to Orielly's I have never had anyone mention this secret registry. Also, I would have thought this advertisement from ORIELLYS (see photo) would indicate they do this (mostly because they say they do) so im not sure if it is something that I have to interview for or if there is some sort of investigation I should be doing into auto parts stores that sell engines and such but are absoluty not covered for clips. Apparently there is an epidemic that I am not aware of out there that is serious buisness. C) Because I'm not an animal, I hope that the clerk does not run into someone like himself if he were to need assistance. Its a new year Im trying to do better. We are only 7 days in OReilys, you should try to do better too. At least be willing to barter for the items your staff steals from customers. I dont know how many knives equal a bulb replacement but I would have went for it. The good news is that I will not ever be dropping items in your store, as that one ridiculous interaction erased 15 years of customer loyalty. Not that the clerk asked or cared, but I have had an account with you for years and have spent quite a bit. A heck of a lot more than a plastic clip. Enjoy your stolen property. 8) read more

I've been to this O'Reilly several times very convenient for me, normally I get pretty good customer service. I went in today I could not believe how poorly I was treated by Don. His belittling attitude started the minute I walked in the door and was argumentative until the time I left. I don't believe I will be using this location anymore. read more

I've had horrible service every time I've been here. One rep couldn't find a Honda Elantra... it's things like that. All but two of the employees are angry, difficult individuals who are desperately waiting for their next smoke break. DO NOT come in here if you have questions. If they have a fire sale, sure.
