A group…read moreof 4 staff and 4 individuals in wheelchairs were enjoying a weekend vacation in the Black Hills when the wheelchair bus broke down Saturday evening in the Mount Rushmore parking lot. Rapid City tour bus companies got our people safely back to their hotel and Halvorsen's Auto Repair worked Sunday and then Monday from 6 AM until the afternoon to get the bus fixed so they could return home. He really saved the day! We are so grateful.

I brought my vehicle in for a relatively simple problem which they said should be no problem to fix and that they would have the capability to fix it. SEVERAL WEEKS after i had it taken in, (with no offer for a loaner/rental/anything) the c**k suckers made me pay nearly double their original quote because they had to take it to another place to do the work that THEY should have been able to do in the first place and made me pay for it. The mechanic did give a heart warming explanation of how they didn't have the right tools originally to fix it, WELL THAN WHY DID YOU SAY YOU COULD YOU PIECE OF SHIT?! Less than a week later more problems started that were close to the previous ones, the manager him self said that if any problems came up with what they did they would fix it for free. Well i called him up and the jack ass told me no way that he would even look at it for free. To sum things up: -Unreliable -Unprofessional -Untrained staff -Cheap asses -Dingy/dirty work place -You could fix your vehicle more effectively by throwing a glass bottle at it.

My van blew a head gasket, got the run around for several weeks on time frame that was originally told 2 days tops. Upon attempted pick up, the van ran worse then when I brought it in. Towed it back to Colorado and had a real mechanic look at it, the old blown head gasket was still in the van despite the fact I paid over $1,300.00 for repair. Attempted to contact Bubbas and tell them and got nothing but lies including a fake email account from a make believe CPA stating that the van refund for repair was in its way...I am leaving out key details but I'm not trying to write a book. But please for the love of your vehicle, DO NOT take it here. You would be better paying a high school kid to rebuild your engine and prob would do a better job than these thieves. I never got the money back and they damaged my van inside and out including letting there discusting shop cat poop, pee, and sleep inside....
