    Moons Over My Hammy
    Andrew C.

Our power was out at Roaming Shores overnight and options for coffee and breakfast around here at limited to say the least. We ended up at the Denny's off I90 in Austinburg. Our server Leann and the cook were the only ones working. Leann had several tables but she was prompt and friendly and checked on us throughout the meal. She kept our coffees topped off. I had one of my high school favs, Moons Over My Hammy and it was as good as I remembered - almost like having that occasional Big Mac every 5 years. The hash browns weren't super warm or I would've given the experience one more star. Thanks Leann for saving our morning!

Blinds in our booth. Inch thick dust

Horrible breakfast, snotty eggs. Handful of burnt cold hash browns. Cold bacon. Had to ask for fresh coffe, cuz what we got was prob there from last night Didn't get toast till 10 min after food came 2 inch thick dust on blinds, silverware looked dirty, would not recommend

Went 2/22/23 1130pm. Waitress and cook were ready to take some orders and were cool people. Tipped the waitress 45% bc i kno how it is to be a waiter. Im far from rich but us little people we gotta take care of each other and the lady had the good vibes. She was happy and so was i. Its my destiny to see good people prosper. Biden wants a dark winter but dont let the deep state win. Trump told you to not live in fear, never wanted to shut down and called the planndemic a hoax. Idk what else yall want bro lol. Nato = deep state = elite = you kno who lol. I hope america gets it together lol. Dennys is 24/7 only 3x a week. They close at 12am. Food was delicious. Went in and ordered takeout. Paid cash because i like the idea of total freedom.

By the time I get to Phoenix she'll be eating at Denny's. Which is her loss really.

Denny Ocean was a great guy. Unfortunately his restaurant is not. There aren't many things that I like less than Denny's. Having my teeth pulled out and my hair pulled out are among them. Arguably. I used to like the tropical fizzy drinks and the two moons over my hammy but those days are past and I'm embarrassed to say that ever even occurred in my life. But when I'm dragged here by the girl who is obsessed with Denny's then what am I supposed to do. Two stars because the service was nice. Food was definitively a 1 as always.

Kitchen slow with a nearly empty restaurant and breakfast food isn't hard. Coffee was cold.menu had all the old favorites removed.

Online order was easy. Arrived few minutes early and waited over 15 minutes past supposed ready time. Food was cook to my liking. However, missing a side dish.

Great service, and food! Will be coming back! The decorations for both St Patrick's and Easter were so cute!

The establishment is small but comfortable and clean! The Prices are great. We had 2 meals for $20. We had the Yuengling beer battered fish with homemade green beans(with butter on them) ,homemade mashed potato's, brown gravy, and home made chunky apple sauce! Delicious! And the tuna melt sandwich was delicious but the best part were the seasoned French fries. It was awesome to have actual home made food! You could tell it hadn't been frozen, thawed out, warmed and served to us. And they still kept the prices affordable! We will definitely go back! The service and wait staff is not the warmest and friendliest...but they get the job done and kept our glasses full while we chowed down!

I took two bites of my omelet, went to take the third and discovered a very long black hair coming out of the center of it. Waitress never came back to check on refills for coffee. The kitchen staff was obnoxiously loud, which with an empty dining room was blatantly disruptive. As far as the food, it was okay, the steak had a great flavor and was cooked medium rare just as asked. They gave me a healthy portion of sautéed mushrooms and onions, and the broccolini was lovely. I ordered the Parmesan truffle fries but they lacked any real flavor and, rather, were under-salted. I decided to try an appetizer of cornbread and honey with butter.. but I wish I had skipped it. The cornbread is dry, there is no corn in it (which for me is a negative but some might like that) and the flavor didn't impress me. Overall, it's a very expensive place to eat to not really enjoy your meal. I would suggest if you want a good steak head over to Sammy K's instead.. you'll cut your bill in half and leave satisfied.

Like a massive lucky cat and cherry blossom trees that lit up. Asian dragons on the counter and shelves. They were cute but didnt carry thruout the restaurant and Infouns that kind of confusing. But then there's a massive old photo of George Washington along with an oddly placed refrigerator that has big cuts of meat. There's just so much going on in the lobby that didn't tie together. Tbo, kind of gave me a little anxiety. The service was really nice. Every staff member that I met was welcoming and nice friendly -zero complaints. My food was ready a few minutes after I had arrived. I had ordered a size brussels sprouts and a side of pierogi. Brussels sprouts had the most potential they gave a lot of brussels sprouts, which were cooked perfectly and we're generous with everything they put on top of it... But that's where the problem was... on menu it read, "balsamic drizzled" Hmmm... Drizzled. These are more like brussels sprout balsamic soup. If it wasn't a takeout order, I would've sent them back. Wowzers, were they were swimming in the sauce. It wasn't that the sauce wasn't good. There was just far too much of it. made it un enjoyable. I didn't finish it If I could make a culinary suggestion to the restaurant, I would reword the description and iwn up to they are in a balsamic sauce and not call it a drizzle because there is nothing drizzled about this. I would not have ordered it if I knew it was in a balsamic sauce The pierogi... I was flat out, disappointed by this This says it was pan seared. I'm skeptical about this menu description. These look like they were flash fried. Either in the deep fryer, an air fryer or worse microwaved. I don't cook in the microwave so I really don't know what they would look like in the microwave But I do know what pan sear pierogi (we make homemade ones all the time) look like and these didn't look like that but they definitely did not appear to have any sign of being seared. Rat. They were tough and chewy on the outside with no buttery flavor that a pan seared item would have. I would not order this again. Inside of the pierogi tasted fine and the toppings the bacon and onions were plentiful, flavorful and we're done really nicely So- All I ate fully was the pierogi toppings. So for 43.10 (includes a tip) i had the MOST expensive dinner that consisted of a side of bacon and onions. As that is all that i felt was enjoyable and worth eating.

You're here for this absolutely over the top food!!! I just hope the regulars don't run me out of here because I mentioned their little hidden Ashtabula gem...
