We stopped for breakfast at this location on Sunday Jan 15 2023 on our way back from visiting family @ Arlington. The place was busy but there were empty tables. Took 10 minutes to just get a cup of coffee & order. After waiting another over 20 minutes for our order I asked the waitress for update on our food - Her reply? "No idea". Horrible service, don't bother stopping at this location. They do not care about customer service, I cancelled my order got up and left. read more

Stopped for early breakfast. We were told to sit anywhere then waited for at least 10 min for someone to get our drink order and bring us a menu. Finally we left and went over to Waffle House nearby. Menu on table. We ordered and finished in Quick 20 minutes. Denny's needs help and a thorough cleaning. read more

Horrible place we placed a pick up order and didn't mind the wait but when he went to check up on it they haven't even started making it and when we asked for e refund the host made no effort to help us and was rude . If you want food I don't recommend this place you are going to wait a long time and they are going ti waste it . read more

Upon walking into the entrance, your going to need an oxygen mask. The smoking section is just to the left of the front door entrance. Greeted. Seated. Ordered. IGNORED. Staff is way busy playing in the back. No refills. Ordered delivered. Food looked good. Food tasted good. Food is good. Restaurant is clean. Music is a bit loud. My initial 2 star rating is upgraded to 3 stars only because the cook did a very good job preparing the food. Plus the restaurant was clean. read more

Went to Denny's Corsicana,Tx,We had eaten there in the past alot.Churches use to eat there on Sunday nights,service got bad with change of mgr. Was told by friends they went to get gift card,had to wait for someone to wait on them. Dec.31 2018 went 3:30 afternoon,only one table had customers mgr.behind counter while we waited,waitress came out with order didn't say anything, employees in kitchen hollering loud enough in the kitchen we could hear at the front. Best Denny's I've been to. Been a few times, food and service has very good each visit.

Arrived at 8pm ordered about 15 minutes after being set (drinks were not ordered before food). After another 10 minutes or so we were told they were out of hash browns. We did not get our food till 9pm. The restaurant was semi busy but not swamped. The servers were slow and there was a lot of noise in the kitchen such as laughing and cutting up by the staff. I'm giving 2 stars but only because the food was at least hot when it finally did arrive and it tasted pretty good. read more

This place is a JOKE. Customer service is ridiculous. We walk in (party of 7), And manager/hostess is rude. Not friendly at all. Our waitress kept coming back to ask us something about our order. Mind you she was nice though. Forgot half of our drinks. Had meal items on other plates that belonged to another meal. A party near us left, and the buss boy, hostess and another server were literally throwing dishes into the cart. I mean like a total fiasco. And then seating another party right next to us. When there was clearly other tables where they could have sit comfortably and being socially distanced. The staff were either not wearing a mask, or having it on their chin and not wearing it properly. Waited on our bill for at leas a good 20 minutes, so we went up to the manager/ hostess and gave us a attitude on why we didn't have our ticket... well you tell me?! She was on her personal phone. We came to visit family from out of town and this was the only place open that could accommodate everyone. Wish we would have just ate at home or got whataburger or even Taco Bell! Slow service. All the time! We ordered takeout food which we were told about 20 min but 40 minutes later we still haven't gotten our food. The restaurant isn't even busy for the food to be taking this long. I'm not sure if it's the kitchen taking long or if the server forgot to put in our order but they gave us 20% off the bill for the inconvenience. It takes them about ten minutes to great you at the door btw. read more

This had to be the worst Denny's I've ever been to. My onion rings had raw batter still inside. My hamburger meat tasted like charcoal.

My grandma always insists on stopping here on the way to Houston. I'm just sure I'm going to get sick every time. I tried a salad and it was gross. I sent it back and got a fruit cup. A very pricy fruit cup. Waitress was nice and my grams liked her food but anyone who has decent taste in food just keep on driving. Denny's is gross. Always. read more

Why are the waitresses yelling at the Lorena you can hear it throughout the whole restaurant not very nice atmosphere

I wish I could leave zero stars. Service was absolutely horrendous. We have a 1 year old who waited an hour and a half for slices of banana and grapes that never came. When I nicely asked the server to bring our baby a cup of fruit or something she immediately shut us down and said there was a big table ahead of us so we'd just have to wait. After another half an hour passed, no food, we ended up leaving to get our starving baby food somewhere else. Our family members who stayed to wait for their food didn't get it for another 45 MINUTES. After we had already been there for TWO HOURS. Our family brought us our food Togo and it was absolutely inedible. 2 biscuits with a little slop of gravy with 2 burnt eggs. My husbands "chicken sandwich", (which I would hardly even describe it as that, more like 2 slices of soggy fried chicken on a piece of watery lettuce), was soaked through with an unidentifiable watery sauce. Absolutely disgusting. I've been a server for 5+ years, I try to cut restaurants/employees all kinds of slack, but this is completely unacceptable. Anyone who has worked even 1 single day as a server knows you ALWAYS ring kids or babies food up on a solo ticket before a big order. No excuse for this shit show. read more

We decided to eat at Dennys in Corsicana TX on Monday December 20 at about 6:00pm. There was only one other group in the restaurant, I guess that should have been our first clue. We ordered our food figuring this should not take long since ours was the only order they had to work on. Twenty minutes later the waiter came over to inform us they were out of the country fried steaks. We were wondering how it could possibly take this long to realize they were out? Meanwhile three other parties had arrived and been seated. We reordered and waited.... We noticed that one of the parties that arrived after us was being served but there was a problem with their order. Now we had been there for almost one hour so we asked about the status of our order and was told they were working on ours and it should be out shortly. Meanwhile another group that had arrived behind us was served their food. When we told the waiter about it a manager came to our table, good, finally maybe something will happen, wrong. He said they were having problems hiring people and had a new cook but if he had to he would cook our order. Understand we had now been the more than an hour... Finally our food was brought out. One order was completely wrong, and when they went back to fix it again it was brought out wrong. Another order was pancakes they didn't bring syrup so we asked for some. Again they brought out the original messed up order and again it was completely wrong with items that were not even on the order added and other items that were supposed to be on it not there. Still no syrup. By now we were not happy, the manager got an attitude with us so we just asked for our bill. He rang up our tab with an attitude because we didn't leave a tip. Half of our groups order was messed up or wasn't served and he had an attitude! We drove down the road to Sonic and ate, it was great. Go before 1 pm. The pm side might as well be forgotten. Rude staff and the food is no where near as good....but if you go in the a.m. you will love the food and watching the staff work together as a team with their manager is a treat. read more

Waitress Tracy, working the midnight shift, was not attentive and talked to a friend the whole time. When asked to fix runny egg white in over easy she just popped them right in microwave in front of everybody. She ruined the eggs. Probably won't eat here again. read more

This is one of the only Denny's restaurants I can't stand within 100 miles of where I travel. I live in this town, but I'd rather travel 20 miles to the next one. This Denny's was fine when it first opened, but it eventually started going downhill since then. I went recently on a Saturday afternoon with a friend, and only 8 people were eating there, but it still took an employee 3 minutes to greet us at the door. We could even hear people in the kitchen laughing and not paying any attention at all. After we were not-so-promptly seated, it took another 2 minutes to get our drinks ordered from a different person. then, after another 20 minutes or so, and in dire need of drink refills, we finally got our food. However, the lettuce on the entree salad I ordered was half-rotten, the chicken was cold, and they didn't even have apples or pecans for it. After being neglected yet again and not ever getting refills on drinks, I finally got the bill. While I was paying for the meal, I asked our server if I could meet with the manager, but she just nodded, handed me my change and said "have a nice day", which I thought meant that I should just leave. That was about the last straw with me, so I left only a penny as a tip and walked out of the restaurant. After starting the car and getting ready to pull out of the parking lot, the waitress runs out and asked in a frustrated tone that I wanted to see the manager, I walked back inside to meet with him. The waitress walked by saying "oh, and you forgot the rest of your change", while slamming her penny in front of my face, right in front of the manager. Even though he clearly saw this, the manager said that the waitress I had was his best one, and that I must have just been having a bad day. Then he had the audacity to think that a $5 off coupon for my next visit only allowed at that particular restaurant was enough to pay for all of this! I am thoroughly disgusted with the service and quality of the food at this particular Denny's and I highly recommend that if you are wanting food from this franchise, that you go 20 miles north to Ennis and stop at that one instead. read more
