This joint is just Ok, nothing special but the server was nice. The decor is very sparse and felt cold (not temperature wise). There's a couple of TVs on opposite walls. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the sampler platter with hot wings, dirty fries and bacon wrapped jalapenos. The wings were delicious and so were the fries but the bacon on the jalapenos were burnt. I would have given a 5 star rating BUT unable to because smoking is allowed in the restaurant. MY HUSBAND AND I WERE SHOCKED. I have not eaten at a restaurant in 15 years that allows smoking. The food was good. The queso was outstanding but we will not go back. Had to change clothes when we got home due to our clothes smelling like cigarette smoke. If you are a smoker and don't mind the smell go for it. Otherwise I suggest going to a chain restaurant in Corsicana where smoking inside restaurant is not allowed. read more

They try to cover it with an air freshener but that makes it worse. Limited selection of beers with no list... just cans high on a shelf above the bar. Nice little gem in Corsicana. The waitress who served us was great, I didn't have to ask her for anything. When you enter in, be welcomed to a whiff of smoke. We came in late a couple of days ago. My daughter and I wanted to try something new. We greeted promptly, ordered and had our food in less than 10 minutes. Our server, Liberty was friendly and attentive . My daughter had the bacon avocado burger with fries. The burger was cooked perfectly. The meat had the best, grill flavor . I had the triple appetizer that came with fried pickles , jalapeño poppers that were my favorite! They were handmade, with. Cream cheese mixture and wrapped with thick bacon and cooked perfectly and last the dirty fries or loaded fries with brisket, cheese and such....a good portion and they were very good. I had enough of all three to take home . The place was not crowded, ballgames playing at the bar and there were a couple of people smoking, which didn't bother us and I believe they have. The food was really good. Probably the best Chicken Fried Chicken that I ever had. The green beans were wonderful. The mashed potatoes were a little dry, but still good. My husband got the Swiss Mushroom Burger. He said it was really good. I know his homemade chips were great as I ate a few. I will say that they were smoking in the main bar area so it did smell of smokers. We sat in the side dining room which was fine. And they had outdoor seating on the patio. As others have said, there was one girl behind the bar that seemed responsible for all parts of the place - from the smokey bar area to the separate dining area to the outdoors patio. Our bartender / server was very sweet even though she was as busy as a gopher on a golf course. No worries for me - as I just went to find her when we needed something - but set your expectations. Food was above average golf course fare - we enjoyed the dirty fries and my gang also enjoyed the avocado burger and pulled-pork on Hawaiian rolls. 5 stars! We were just passing through and decided to stop here to grab a bite. They have a smoking and non smoking area. We started with the appetizer sampler! The fried pickles were a bit thin but the dirty fries are AMAZING !!! The philly cheese steak was on one of the best hoagies I've ever had, the cheeseburger was perfectly cooked to order, and the catfish was very good too! Noah was our server and he was one of the best servers I've ever had! Very kind, checking on us and making sure everything was great! Happy hour is the only reason to come here since their $3 well margaritas are awesome, but expect to wait about 20 minutes to a order a drink with the bartender or even handed a menu. Every time me and friends come here they have one overworked/rude/stressed female bartender that apparently is responsible for the entire place. Cool atmosphere to drink, especially out on the deck with the decorative lights and seating but definitely lacking in the customer service department. This place is okay. Hamburgers are slightly above average. A friend of ours had the fried catfish - I had a bite and the skin was left on so not very good. Drove all the way from Fairfield to come relax, eat, and drink on the patio because it looked nice and had good reviews. Walked in & got looked at like we were stupid for not knowing that we could "seat ourselves" and then were finally given a menu. After asking for a drink menu and mojito, the server/bartender rudely replied "no". I just am very frustrated by the attitude given to us and the rudeness. Super cute place! Dogs welcome on the patio and the staff brought out water for my dog! The food was fantastic and cheap for what you get! I ordered the chicken nachos and my boyfriend got the club sandwich. There is a driving range next to the patio, we did not bring clubs as we were just driving through, but I bet that only adds to the fun! My table of two and a couple people at the bar were the only guests at the time and the bartender was waiting on our table, service was lacking but all the aforementioned pros made up for it for me! Well, it's Friday night and I've been on the patio for about 2 hours, and not one staff has offered a refreshing beverage of any sort... two bartenders did come out but when it seemed like we might be asking for something, they made it clear they were on break... by raising a hand and stating 'ugh, we're on break'. Ventured here passing through the area on our way back to Houston. Don't be fooled when you walk in that you've just found a smoky bar. Make your way to the table and patio area and you'll find some tasty meal options. The beef medallions that my dad got was a great piece of beef with a nice crab sauce. Surf and Turf! This place is a hidden gem we are from out of town and found this place on yelp. When I say hidden I mean hidden there is no sign and until you walk through the front door you are not sure you are there. Too smokey inside for me. Would like to see more focus on the dining area for non-smokers and I'd eat there more. Outside music venue in summer is the only game in town and well worth the visit.
