The French onion soup had very little broth and was overloaded with a thick layer of hardened cheese. Overall, the food tasted cheap and poorly prepared, yet the prices suggested otherwise. It felt like diner-quality food being sold at premium prices. What made the experience even more frustrating was the manager's response. He came to our table after hearing about our concerns, but instead of focusing on the quality issues we raised, he seemed more concerned that my husband refused to order a replacement meal. That spoke volumes about where the priorities were. The one bright spot was our server, who was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. No complaints regarding the server as he was extremely apologetic with our experience. To our surprise, the restaurant also added an automatic gratuity to our bill. Ironically, had that not been done, we likely would have tipped our server more because he was not the problem. The kitchen and management were. No, I didn't complain about the tip after I noticed it on our bill. We were over the experience and just wanted to pay and get the hell out of there. Save yourself the disappointment and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. We certainly wish we had. Gordon Ramsay, if you're looking for a future Kitchen Nightmares episode, this place could desperately use the help. P.S. A business name change is not going to help with the quality of the food. I grabbed a seat and ordered a strawberry milkshake and some Old Bay/Maple chips. The service was absolutely outstanding. My server Chuck was extremely friendly, talkative, and helpful. He was able to give me great recommendations and made sure I was always attended to. I watched them make the milkshake, which included hand scooped ice cream, strawberries, and strawberry syrup, which was then blended to perfection. They have me the milkshake glass, then the container they mixed the milkshake in that had extra ice cream--I basically got two milkshakes in one! The chips came out and were warm, well seasoned, and there was a TON of them. I liked the sweet and spicy combo of the Old Bay and Maple. They also have an old school jukebox, which is completely free to use. I chose a song and it played for the entire shop, so cool! They don't come with fries but the fries were crispy and very good. If you want an American-style Greek salad and an American-style gyro, then this is the place for you. It's definitely not authentic like what you get in Greece. For example the salad has lettuce and comes with an Italian dressing and the gyro is not the juicy pork that you get in Greece but is the crispy-at-the-edges drier American-style gyro meat. It was very good, just not quite over the top to the five-star territory.
