The food was some of the worst we've had in a long time. My husband actually spit food into his napkin, shook his head, and said, "I'm done." I've never seen him do that before. Several dishes were simply inedible. The mashed potatoes were bland and flavorless--how do you mess up mashed potatoes? The potato salad was equally bland and disappointing. The French onion soup had very little broth and was overloaded with a thick layer of hardened cheese. Overall, the food tasted cheap and poorly prepared, yet the prices suggested otherwise. It felt like diner-quality food being sold at premium prices. What made the experience even more frustrating was the manager's response. He came to our table after hearing about our concerns, but instead of focusing on the quality issues we raised, he seemed more concerned that my husband refused to order a replacement meal. That spoke volumes about where the priorities were. The one bright spot was our server, who was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. No complaints regarding the server as he was extremely apologetic with our experience. To our surprise, the restaurant also added an automatic gratuity to our bill. Ironically, had that not been done, we likely would have tipped our server more because he was not the problem. The kitchen and management were. No, I didn't complain about the tip after I noticed it on our bill. We were over the experience and just wanted to pay and get the hell out of there. Save yourself the disappointment and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. We certainly wish we had. Gordon Ramsay, if you're looking for a future Kitchen Nightmares episode, this place could desperately use the help. P.S. A business name change is not going to help with the quality of the food.
