DONT ORDER FROM THIS CAFE .If I can give no star that's what it would be I received food that is hard as a rock my child can't even eat it , I called to let the restaurant know and the woman got smart saying contact uber seems like a scam to me because uber isn't going to just give your money back .

Tried this spot for the first time & got their new pickle sandwich! I enjoyed it a lot and the staff were nice, they did not rush me through the ordering process. Will return in future!

These are the size of their pancakes. McDonald's pancakes are bigger than these!

The perfect spot for locals to grab a coffee on their way to work or an afternoon lunch spot. Joanna's has a really nice menu with quite a few breakfast and lunch options. As well as a decent drink menu for whatever may suite your fancy at the moment. I settled on a Pistachio and Rose Latte, a Sausage and Cheese breakfast sandwich, and a huge Black Bottom Muffin. The latte was little on the sweet side for me, but the flavor was decent. The breakfast sandwich I got on an asiago bagel, and it was pure deliciousness. The chicken sausage was seasoned nicely, and the asiago bagel was so soft and pillowy. I thoroughly enjoyed this sandwich. And the muffin was quite tasty too. With so many items to try on Joanna's menu and their good customer service, I'll definitely be back to try some other things when I'm in the area.

We had a miscommunication during my order and when food came out, she quickly realized the problem. I want to give her praise because before we could even talk about who might have made the mistake, a corrected order was already sent to the kitchen. I'm almost certain I caused the mistake, but Martina resolved things swiftly. I don't usually do breakfast places twice but I would come back for the service and food.We ordered the following: Happy face pancake: 8/10 - she wished it was a little crispier but very good. Half and half: 9/10 - good and sweet Crab hash: 10/10 - phenomenal! I added Queso fresco Old fashioned: 8/10 good and strong! Mimi (manager I believe) checked on us often. Martina is the highlight.

This time I opt for the Chicken and Waffles and boy was the chicken delicious. Service was great! You can basically order anything off the menu and create your own meal. The only reason I didn't give five stars because the Black Cherry mimosa was not as good. Went on a Sunday around 11:00am and the line was out the door. We only waited 20 min for a table since it was a party of 2. But I was hearing others wait time was 1 hour or more for large parties.

Popular local spot with large portions of very decadent food options…read more The place is first-come-first-serve (they do not take reservations), and you have to stand outside while you wait for a table (they don't write down phone numbers and there is no seating area). This said, I came here on a Saturday morning with my fiancé and the wait was only 10-15 min (which was worth it for the food) Have a few indoor tables, a small bar-counter, and 2 outdoor tables as well. We were seated at the outdoor tables even though we didn't specify that we wanted to sit outside. We decided to take this rather than wait longer for indoor tables (which also looked somewhat cramped). The sidewalk outside is kind of tilted though, and there are a bunch of people waiting for tables outside, so it is a bit of a strange vibe. This all being said, the service was incredibly fast. Our orders were taken right away, the food came out pretty quick, and we were brought our check (which is payable via phone) as soon as we finished eating. You can tell that they run a really tight ship/well executed operation. For food, this place is known for their "Captain Crunch French Toast" and "Sweet Baby Jesus" loaded tots, which have both been featured on the Food Network 3X, but the rest of their menu is also pretty fun and creative. My fiance and I each got an iced coffee, the French toast, and breakfast tacos and we really enjoyed everything. The portions we so big that we had to take the majority of the breakfast tacos home as well.

It is a very small restaurant but it works. I will be honest everything that I saw come out looked amazing. I order a chorizo with ham, pineapple, jalapeño and cheese quesadilla. Hear me out when I say it was delicious. The sweet balanced that heat. If you not a heat lover, please don't order. The hash was perfectly crispy on the outside but perfect baked potato vibe in the middle. Two snaps for that . I ordered the cinnamon crunch French toast as well and it was very good but not crispy enough for me. I like mine very crispy. It was good but would have been great cooked a little longer. (Personal preference tho). The server was very nice and made great recommendations for my friend's food. I would definitely visit here again.

This is the sort of place that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. And, for someone who's been several times, I now feel like family. If you're looking for an unhurried coffee served on a silver tray, get their Ethiopian coffee service. If you're looking for a good coffee to go, they've got that, too. If you want breakfast, you're in the right place, and you can try more than the usual diner fare or avocado toast. There are a few Ethiopian dishes for lunch, too, with fantastic injera that is flown in daily from Ethiopia. If you want a special Ethiopian dish that's not on the menu, they may be able to make it with some notice. The coffee house has a small shop with Ethiopian coffee, incense, and trinkets from their homeland. It's a special place run by genuinely kind people who care about sharing their love of their homeland through their food and the way they treat customers. Don't miss it.
