I love Dennys!!! Food is amazing, service is great!! I got the beef pot roast and it was amazing, melt in your mouth!! I got fries with it and a cold pint to wash it all down!!! Excellent!!! It was a super busy morning at Denny's just after 10am due to the family day long weekend. But the Manager was right on-top of things. He gave everyone waiting to be seated a short estimated time. This wasn't his first rodeo, it was amazing seeing this kind of dedication to his customers. In less than 5 minutes we were seated and greeted by our polite waitress. She took our beverage order which arrived promptly then took our food order. Considering how busy it was the ambiance in the restaurant was very muted. We came in for my "Free" Birthday breakfast slam which consisted of my choice of items, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 toast and 2 eggs. Everything arrived but my order had an issue. We notified the waitress of the problem and my order was taken to the back. She came back and notified us the Manager will redo my entire order "WOW"! I wasn't expecting this at all but was appreciated. I waited less than 2 minutes and my food was personally brought out by the Manager with full apologies. Simply amazing. Everything tasted great and seasoned to perfection. Do I recommend Dennys...you bet I do. For what you get, the price is very affordable and the food is filling. read more

Came here for my "free" birthday breakfast - in reality it's $11.99 off any slam breakfast. I came at exactly 7Am when they open so I could get to work on time! No one else there at this time. I got the All American Slam - 3 scrambled eggs covered in cheese, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, shredded hashbrowns (can choose diced/cubed), and 2 slices rye toast (whole wheat and white also available). 9/10 delicious! Toast was super fresh. sooo many eggs I had to ask for a takeout container. Sausage was well cooked and did not taste overcooked or raw. Bacon was good - not too skimpy not raw. Hashbrowns 1 side was super crispy and the other not at all. Next time I'll ask they really really cook them as I like the crunchy bits the best. Overall worth coming in for your birthday or just for breakfast! read more

It's been sometime since setting foot in a Dennys, but we decided to try the new location on the northend. Compared to the OG Dennys around E-town, this place was a lot more updated, new and diner looking, bringing a retro vibe. Also nice and bright. The service was awesome, and the food portion and quality was good. But again, it is very difficult to mess up breaky! The one complaint I had was the coffee tasted watery, but this is a hit or miss depending on who makes it. I also noticed prices went up, but makes sense with the cost of everything increasing nowadays. I had to pay $2.30 to add toast to my skillet, when previously I could have sworn it was part of the dish. Anywho, it did the trick and filled the belly :-) read more

New location here at northside. Service is fantastic and the restaurant is really clean and they following the protocol for the pandemic. Try the new loaded veggie omelette. Our server for this evening was Sophie she's very helpful and friendly always checking us if we need something. And manager Noel always on the floor to check out our experience that's awesome. We tried this brand new Denny's on Sunday, Sept 12th around 11am. We haven't been to a Denny's in over 6-7 years, so we kept our expectations a bit lower. It's a smaller location and officially hasn't had a full "opening" until Monday, Sept 13th, so we were there by chance for a soft opening. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table and waited outside in our car as the lobby area can get quickly congested. And it's nice to be outside anyway. They had about half of the tables blocked off, to ensure great service and distance between guests. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, happy, courteous, and pleasant to deal with. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll pancake meal (2 cinnamon pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns and sausages) and my spouse ordered the All American Slam along with a coke, coffee and water. Our server (Dakota), was attentive, friendly and very pleasant! She took our orders quickly and brought out our beverages fairly fast. Our meals came out fairly soon as well. With my pancakes, I had scrambled eggs with cheese and they were pretty good! Lots of cheese which was nice to see! The pancakes were VERY sweet (I kind of compared them to the Ihop Cinnistacks) and found them to be much sweeter than those. They were really good, lots of icing on top and cinnamon flavoring. My spouse had ordered the All American with all bacon, and the kitchen forgot and his plate came out with bacon and sausage. Our server went back to the kitchen and brought out extra bacon right away. The bacon was on the softer side and could have been cooked just a minute longer. Overall, our food was a bit on the cooler temperature side. The Manager did stop by and I mentioned it to him, and he was very nice about it. Asked us if we wanted more bacon brought out, and we politely declined. As a comment to those that head to this location over the next month or so, take it easy on the staff. It's a new place, with lots of new staff that are just learning the ropes. Don't yell at them, or be rude. They're learning just like you would be learning at a new job too. We'll definitely be back there for sure! We enjoyed our meals and the service was great! read more

I often have breakfast here on my way home from nightshift. Service is exceptional. The ladies know where I like to sit, what I like to order, and they keep my coffee topped up. Food arrives quick and hot. Yes, prices have gone up, but we see that everywhere. I've been here when it's empty and I've been here when it's busy and it's always a clean and happy environment. Amazing customer service ! The staff were definitely swamped when we walked in, yet several of them made a point to acknowledge our presence. Once seated, we were promptly served by Tarrio our waitress. The coffee was piping hot & constantly refilled. Despite being super busy We didn't have to wait too long for our meal. read more

I've often thought that cooking a tasty breakfast should be a 'no brainer'... but all too often I have been totally wrong! Cold coffee, cold pancakes, overcooked toast, crumbly bacon and under-cooked eggs. This morning, the breakfast was just exceptional- mainly because it was HOT... We felt very rushed to leave. Our waiter kept coming up the table before we had even finished eating to take away our plates. We were brought our bill before even finishing our meals. My friend had ordered the mango smoothie and the glass was only filled halfway. When they brought our food out, my order was completely wrong and I had to wait an extra 15-20 min for my correct order. When it finally got to the table, the hash browns and bacon were cold. I do not recommend this Denny's. Go somewhere else for breakfast. I wasn't expecting much, but I wasn't expecting cold food either. read more

If I could rate this place, I would give it a negative star! Waited 10 mins before being seated. Waited another 10 mins to get a menu & a server. Put in soft drink order & then waited another 15 mins to get served that. Then got our order put in & waited another 30 mins before our meal was served!!! Meanwhile, I watched the owner running around in the kitchen trying to plate food & then come out to the front to serve the same food. Got a server who is forgetful, overwhelmed, & slow on her feet. Watched another server stomping around in frustration, loudly saying that she didn't know what she was doing anymore. Hostess was being told to go here, go there, & be everywhere. Meal - hash brown was the only hot food on the plate! Scrambled eggs were cold & rubbery. Pancakes were passable. Had asked for refills & the syrup for the pancakes but didn't get syrup till we finished our main plate. Apparently was waiting for drinking glasses to be washed so naturally we had to wait till they were done before we could get the syrup. Finished our meal, took another 10 mins to catch the eye of our server. Asked for the check & a to go box for the rest of my pancakes. Took another 10 mins before frustration was set in & I tried to get the attention of a young man who had both iPod earbuds in so I had to raise my voice. Our server turned around & says that she will get the check for us. Totally forgot the to go box & my companion had to raise his voice to remind her to bring it as she was quickly moving away from our table. At no time did the server ask us how our food was. Total time from start to finish, about 1 hr & 50 mins!! Reminds me of the restaurant makeover shows. Total chaos, no leadership, poor service! read more
