Big thanks to Michael! I wasn't really expecting much going to this Dennys, but I kid you not this guy Michael might be one of the best servers I've ever had. Went way above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted and was well accommodated. Super polite. I just drove an insane amount of hours from California and was pretty tired and grumpy but I couldn't be dissatisfied with this dude. I shoulda tipped him more but if you guys get Micheal give him a hand. He tried harder than he gets paid for and that's hard to come by these days. read more

Unfortunately the smell that greets you as you walk in is not sizzling bacons but sewer odor. Not sure if the sewer problem is of this building or the city pipes. The place is otherwise ok. Food and service are standard for a Denny's. Most menu items are available at all hours. It can get crowded on weekend mornings. read more

currently on a 19 hour roadtrip and ABSOLUTELY needed to stop due to lack of sleep, and starvation and cannot possibly eat something from a gas station with zero protein. Came across this denny's and so glad I did! it's 1:30am, so it's pretty dead and everything is closed in this town but the lively hood here was nice and definitely not expected. I was instantly greeted with kindness and quick service. Awful experience. Horrible sewage smell as you walk in. Food is gross. Stale nachos. Shredded cheese was still frozen. Omelette was soggy and porous as if they cooked it in a microwave. Tables have dishes covering 5-7 tables. This place isn't sanitary. Shut it down!!! read more

this is one of the worst meals I've ever eaten at a Denny's. I had breakfast for dinner and it was absolutely horrible. The biscuits and gravy were hard as Rox and the gravy was runny with the sausage being dried out. My eggs over hammy was terrible with the handful of fries. I even ordered a side of French toast and it was so tough I couldn't cut through it. I tried to call numerous times as I was staying at a nearby hotel so I could get something else, but they did not answer. read more

Ordered French toast, eggs, sausage and bacon. The French toast came out before everything else. I started taking bites and on the third bite, I started choking on something sharp. It was a plastic tip that somewhat looks from a package or plastic fork. I immediately told the server who did not apologize. I told the manager and she had no clue that happened and gave me $10 off my order. Very disappointing. read more

When you walk in there's is some type of bad smell in the air. Lots of tables with dirty dishes and seems no one is cleaning the tables. I have been here 30 minutes and just got my eggs and sausage and no pancakes yet but others are getting their order before me. Pancakes taste weird Sausage was deep fried and overcooked and was very salty Eggs were cold Coffee was burnt Service is slow due to lack of staff. So before I left went to the bathroom and that is where that stinky smell is coming from and it's also dirty. There are 10 tables with dirty dishes and only seven tables with customers. They have 4 wait staff and one of them is just hiding in the back and comes out once in awhile with that many staff I don't see why they are not cleaning the tables with the dishes. Don't come here at all bad food, slow service, stinky smell when you walk in and also what you get for your money is not worth it at all! read more

TERRIBLE DONT COME HERE. i'd rather starve then come here. such a DIRTY place and food is disgusting. cups were so dirty like they haven't been washed, lemon in the water was going bad, my moms food came and her chicken was RAW. the waiter we had was terrible, we didn't get her name but she was wearing a tight bun and full face of makeup. the customer service is SO BAD she would not acknowledge our complaints. she would walk away and almost ignore us like she didn't wanna deal with us. the place is just super dirty, it smells like sewer around the whole place and the restrooms are disgusting. we ended up talking to the manager and it seemed like he's used to getting complaints about this waitress's. just skip this dennys and go to another one or somewhere else. place is super super dirty and and overall horrible customer service. read more

We are here Christmas Day, which is a horrible day to eat in a restaurant. As travelers, however, we were so pleased to find this place open. There was a wait because we weren't the only patrons and the restaurant was clearly understaffed. The men and women working hustled the entire time. We were so impressed. And the food is what we expected. Management needs to give these employees a huge shoutout. read more

Brooke was great!!! Quick service and very friendly. The food was a bit overpriced but overall good experience.

I understand that Covid has changed the way the restaurants are run, but eating over 45 minutes for a strawberry, chocolate and vanilla milkshake is ridiculous. The staff had no clue what was going on. People were asking to be put on a wait list since they were at capacity. At one point I hear a male employee chuckle before he said "I have no clue how long the wait will be". Also, notice the photo of our milkshakes.... all chocolate and one is almost only half full. No refund or anything was offered after we waited as long as we did. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Stopped here with our 3 children at 9:30p for a late dinner before checking into a hotel, and everything about this place was bad. Drugs and alcoholism looked to be an issue in this area. We were greeted by a drunk man out front who kept trying to talk to my kids. Inside had an odd smell, like vomit had been cleaned up at some point. We were seated quickly but waited nearly an hour for our food to be served, and it wasn't busy inside. My 12yr old son said the bathroom was disgusting, with poopy tp piled in a corner. A couple with a 2 or 3yr old kept wandering around the restaurant high on meth or something. Our waitress was sweet and doing the best she could, but it looked like the whole place was being run by teens. We probably should have just left, but when it's late and you're hungry, we stuck it out. If you're traveling down I-40 late at night, avoid this place! read more

The food is solid breakfast food for if you have a sweet tooth. The service is ok just casual waiters not horrible. There is really no theme and the chairs are sticky. Overall it is pretty average. read more

Food was good but the service was not. We asked to substitute hash browns for the bacon. They brought bacon instead of hash browns and when we asked for the hash browns the sever said he would have to charge us for it as a side. I made sure he understood that it was his mix up not mine. I had coffee and had to ask for a refill and we had to ask for more water. I don't know if it's just the overnight crew or what but I would not recommend. read more

We stopped on our way out of Gallup. When we entered we were told they were very busy. So to be seated would be a few minutes. Thought about leaving but so glad we didn't. !!! The service was fast and excellent. Russ was our server. He took great care of us. The food was awesome. Absolutely everything and everyone went above and beyond there duties. As far as Dennys are concerned this one is below average. I ordered the T-bone and eggs. The steak was alright and appeared to be cooked on a flat top. No color on the steak. At least they had a gluten free bread option. It took forever to get a coffee refill as there were only 2 tables in the place. The waitress redeemed herself when she offered to refill my travel mug. Also they do offer military discount with ID. I only stopped here as the TA restaurant was closed. Next time I'll keep driving and go someplace else. read more

We usually eat at the Dennys in St. Michaels Arizona and we are always not satisfied with our service and food. Today we decided to try the Dennys in Gallup, NM on the north side. Our waiter was perfect! He made sure we had everything we needed and accommodated more than we needed. I had a hair in my salad, I was not upset but he took it back and packed up a new one for us. I recommend this waiter to every single person in the community. He goes by the name Brook. Thank you Dennys for making our lunch great today. read more

Yeesh. Location was mostly empty. Took 10 minutes for a host to come as us what we needed. Asked for a table. Took us to 2 dirty ones before finding us a clean one. Server was good about getting our order from us right away. Took 25 minutes for the food to get to us. It was cold. But the cold pancakes were good. read more

Finally after someone came by they took their time to finally get our drinks and we had to flag waiter down again for our food. On New Years's Day, we stopped at Denny's off of I-40 in Gallup NM during a bad snowfall. There were lots of customers waiting to be seated and yet the service was terrific! The young man at the counter juggled many tasks very gracefully. read more
