I picked up my food for my family only to be told to take my food and leave. I was not allowed to check it for accuracy. She and the rest of the staff were beyond rude again. This request would have been understandable had they been doing a quality check. Of course I check my food and the order is substantially incorrect. My kids didn't get their full order. I got to pay for items I never received. The food I did get tossed in a bag was sad looking. All, I can say is look.... if you hate your job and you hate people then QUIT. This is a pretty standard Denny's. The waitress was fantastic and very attentive. I do love that dennys serves all of their food all day long. We were there at about 9 in the morning and I had chicken tenders tossed in Buffalo sauce and my friend had the Grand Slam and we both really enjoyed our meal. I ordered a chocolate milk and they were out which was very disappointing. I decided to have an orange juice and again I was disappointed because the glass was quite small and they charge you for refills. However, the service was fantastic the food was well-cooked and it is definitely a clean and updated restaurant which is quite nice. I would definitely give them a shot if you're looking for somewhere to have quick cheap food and well cooked with great service. read more

The food is usually tasty, ample portion size & reasonable prices. They offer a 15% discount to AARP members & a free "slam" on all patrons'birthdays, w/valid I.D.s. Specifically at this Denny's location, as a negative per-se, is this Denny's' absolutely, ridiculously small and I'll-designed, parking lot. Good gracious this is a pestilence to get into and out of. That being said, this is a sole negative that is truly an obstruction for most customer complaints. Be it known too, this restaurant was recently expanded and modified which was nice, but the parking lot should have been modified too as local residents have had a few fender-benders due to the tight composition of the parking lot. Okay, enough of that, just be careful here. LOL! Onto the food. My family has eaten here for three years and I've had one, read me, ONE bad meal during that tenure. The staff gets it, they are often Johnny on the spot and any meal at all can be customized how you want it. Love this place as a 'Waffle House' extension for that reason. Clean, quick and kind, this is an easy win for a sit down restaurant. Oddly, we've seen some exceptionally high price tags for simple meals but they ended up being correct. So this place isn't the most price cost effective but you get your food relatively quick so I'm baffled at other reviews commenting negatively as I can only presume they are being way overly judgmental towards this restaurant... The staff is usually very perky and polite, and for this, also prompt. It's 'Denny's' style so don't expect gourmet food but as a simple diner, they do the food well and not being complex, don't expect more. The coffee is nothing to write home about but overall with the constant size of the local residents, the restaurant could easily be twice the size and still fill up. So, it's not often you have to wait here for seating but it's overall quality is good enough that it's almost always at 60+% being filled. Don't miss this place up as you'll get a hot meal and of course, as expected, but as a reminder, they always have sweet treats for desert! read more

Ordered my meal and waited, another person that came in after me ordered his meal and was served almost right away. I sat there drinking my coffee and was very patient. Moments later the server brings my bill and charges me for my full meal. I was kind of puzzled by this and I asked her why I was getting bill when haven't even had my meal yet. Jamie was our server and she was awesome. She seemed to notice that our 7 year old scarfed down his kid meal and said kids eat free so offered him another meal, which I thought was so kind! The host was nice and our server was OK although not attentive towards the end of the meal (I had to stand up and show that we were trying to leave before I was able to get the check. Basically about 20 minutes from the time she last checked on us. There was leftover food on the floor (ew) when we sat down, but the seats and the table were clean. The light above us was extremely dusty and the windows were disgusting. I asked for my eggs to be over easy and they were barely cooked at all, and since they had run out of biscuits (it was 9 am on a Sunday), they gave me toast instead which was ok. read more

Been going here for years and always had a great meal with great service. Well that all changed. Under new ownership. Here's what went wrong, waited over 1 hour for our food, we were told they only have one cook and he is over his head, great.Next when the food came out it was cooked wrong, My wife said to the waiter," you should have told us about this issue". Well after that he started telling people. and you guessed it people starting leaving. We use to go at least 4 to 5 times a week, breakfast and diner. Oh and you use to be able to get a beer or wine with diner, no more. This by far was the worst dinning experience we have had in a long, long time. One thing we noticed when we arrive was the lack of cars in the parking lot as compared to last year when we came. I guess that should have been a tip off. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. First let me say I have always enjoyed eating at Denny's, but this Denny's falls way below expectations. I have eaten in the restaurant once, and ordered online twice. We won't be eating or ordering from this location again. When we dined in the service was horrible. When we ordered online the screwed up our order both times. Typical Denny's. The food is consistent of any Denny's. I really like the staff here. We had a really nice new waiter, Nick that had a fabulous personality and it made it a nice experience. My one complaint, it is expensive if you order off the menu. Ie; I created my own omelette with only Spinich and tomato and it was almost $11. I had two orders placed, and they had forgotten a side to one of the orders and also was missing cutlery. It is one of the worst restaurants I have ever visited. The service is slow and just bad. The employees don't want to be there you can tell by the service. The restaurant is dirty and the management team is inconsiderate and just lazy. I have gone there about three times because there are not many restaurants to go to in Green Valley Arizona. We waited over 40 minutes to get our food, bit they still didn't have enough time to cook our grits. Our waitress went on break and nobody covered our table and she said "there was nothing she could do to make our visit better". They knocked 20% off the bill like that made it all better. However the wait for the food was overly long, and we noticed our order sitting on the counter long enough to make it barely warm enough to eat. The pancakes my wife ordered were good and my eggs were ok. However the bacon was absolutely tasteless, and we had to ask the server for a coffee refill. Portions were large. Prices were average for this area. Service was slow enough and poor enough to annoy us. But they do serve breakfast all day and as i mentioned dont expect much. This Denny's has some of the best customer service in this entire town. Every single time I come I have a positive experience. On Wednesday 6/15 at around 12 p.m., a few of my coworkers went to pick up food for some of us. They called it in for takeout, and it ended up being around ten different orders. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist us. They put each of the orders in different bags and stapled the receipts to them so we would be able to tell what was in each of them. Denny's was packed but they still took the time to make sure everything was right for us. Angie and Jocelyn were both outstanding, and I know my coworkers were very grateful for their patience and helpfulness. As far as the food goes, it was all very good and all of the orders were correct. I will definitely stop in here again sometime. read more

Food is what you expect! If you've never eaten at a Denny's you probably don't live in America! This one is 24hrs and serves beer which is a plus to some, now if only I could get a Jack and Coke. The only issue I have with this location is the service. It's about 50/50 you are either gonna have good service or the worst service ever.
