I tried the fig bagel and my friend had the mango wrap. My fig bagel came with bacon, but it felt more like ham or Canadian bacon with cream cheese--and it was so good. I also had the iced orange-flavored coffee, which I really enjoyed. You can dine in or order to go, but it does get pretty busy, so expect a bit of a wait during peak times. Came here for lunch since I gotta work in this area. I am amazed by this local coffee shop. I got their amaretto white mocha ! Omggggggg it is sooooo goooooooooood. The flavor and texture of the coffee came together perfectly. I was so happy of getting this before going back to work. I got their green buffalo salad with chicken. It is probably one of the best chicken salad I have in Arizona. Their chicken is freshly made and very tender. The salad ingredients are very fresh. If you blink, you could drive right by this amazing establishment. One would think with the name it would be a breakfast spot, and it is. I highly recommend the crêpes. I had never been to Green Valley, let alone Moqah Coffee and Beyond, before. I was working there for the day and needed a coffee shop I could be comfortable in for a few hours, but I got the added bonus of an awesome service and food experience to boot! Armando (I think that's his name, and I apologize if I got it wrong) was extremely gracious, warm, and welcoming. He situated me at a nice table where there was an electric outlet. Sure I'd read up on Yelp for coffee shops and I had a couple in mind and chose Moqah partially for the great food reviews, even though my primary objective was just coffee and working. I got the everything bagel and lox and it was outstanding! I was NOT expecting that! I mean, I'm originally from the Bronx, and just the lox itself was totally legit! It was excellent! But even the bagel was good! And it had capers and cream cheese, just as you'd expect. Just wonderful. And for the side dish, the homemade macaroni salad was also excellent! Good portion size too! The hot coffee was great but I also got a blended drink, and they're almost invariably way too sweet for me, but not this one, it was excellent! I will always remember this great experience and won't hesitate to return if I need to be in Green Valley again! read more

I so enjoyed this little gem nestled right off the interstate (Esperanza Blvd) in Green Valley. They had delicious breakfast and lunch fare, as well as great espresso, juice and tea drinks. I ordered the bagel and lox, and it had the right amount of everything, including some diced red pepper thrown in with the traditional capers, red onion, smoked salmon and of course cream cheese. For my side I got the salad-also delicious. Mom got the breakfast crepe, that had huge slabs of ham (she said bacon but it looked like ham to me), cheese, and a scrambled egg folded into a delicious "burrito style" slightly sweet crepe. Mom also recommends their BLT with pear sandwich, which caught my eye as well. Great patio outside, friendly and fast service. Even the owner (I'm assuming he was) came to check on our needs. Really it's such a down-home feel with great, solid, food; It's worth getting off the interstate for (Esperanza Blvd exit). read more

This review was written originally when I ate here in September of 2020. Rarely do I comment on a business that has been open for less than a month to give the opportunity to work out any issues. After stopping at Moqah's Green Valley Location is a rare exception as I think their food and coffee are very good. I ordered the pear and cheddar BLT which was memorable and I would order it again...many times. I'm disappointed in the way I was treated at this restaurant. I walked in by myself since my husband wasn't available to come with me for lunch. Without a simple greeting the man at the front says "minimum of 2 people to eat at this place". Hmm. I've never encountered that before but ok. Then quickly changes his mind and rushes me to sit somewhere. As Im looking through the menu, He comes over with zero customer service and rushed me to order. As Im asking questions about their items He then says they are out of a lot of things and again nooooo patience or kindness. I tried to compromise with one of the paninis I was interested in since you guessed it they were out of an ingredient He completely shuts me down. Then continues to be standoffish and I finally gave up and said no thanks and walked out. Never again. read more
