My wife and I wanted a steak, the first thing that came to mind Was The Texas Roadhouse. It's our go to steak place! The steaks are always cooked to order. This location is our favorite! When we arrived, it was busy. We were seated within 15 minutes of arrival. Our waitress was at our table within 5 minutes. Very polite waitress. She took our orders and the peanuts were ready for munching. Our order was at our table within 20 minutes. Prepared as ordered. I like their Texas Biscuits, very tasty! The sides were delicious as well. The atmosphere was very upbeat. The place was decorated very nicely. It was clean, as were the restrooms. The meal was excellent, as was the service. Our server was on top of things, which amazed us as busy as it was. A Plus for her. My son in law order a rib eye, medium rare, and that piece of meat was raw. One step below mooing. His ribeye was very small compared to another at our table who ordered a rib eye as well. Our server took it back, but it looked like it was just cooked on one side at that point. He figured he'd take it home and cook it correctly. We aren't sure we will be back. He had a similar incident when he went before. Luckily you hadn't run out of prime rib. Aritza is the reason I am leaving this bad review. First time I have had a poor experience here. Everything started well and food came out in a timely manner, then she disappeared. We did not get a single refill, follow up for napkins, or anything. I finally spoke to a manager and she apologized and said she was unsure for the poor service as she "just saw Aritza in the back." I recommend going to the Marana location or asking for any other server that is not Aritza. read more

I left the famous Tucson Gem and Jewelry JOGS show early to arrive Wednesday January 29th 2025 to arrive before 5:00 p.m. for weekday Texas Roadhouse early bird dinner that ends at 5:00 p.m. early bird is 3 to 5:00 p.m. and features 11 choices with two sides for 12.99 each. This was my first time at this Tucson location. I picked the 6 oz sirloin which is cut like filet mignon I asked for red center but it was not rare enough but I didn't send it back. The restaurant was really crowded even at this hour 5:00 p.m. . I think a lot of people came for the early bird cuz it was jam-packed and constant flow of more people coming in the door. My favorite sides are the sweet potato with brown sugar and butter and the chili has lots of meat in it and they're generous with garnishing the cheese and onions. I think those two sides have the greatest value. However, I always felt wherever the restaurant location, in Calif or Arizona, I ate at the chili has too much cumin in it. The service is always great in the past, this time, my server got me so many things back and forth and back and forth she went for me, and she brought them right away. Five stars for the dinner table service but three stars for the steak not being rare enough it was pink on the inside and kind of tough. Also 3 stars cos the person who takes me to a table, insisted on seating me at the darkest table in the restaurant, when I told her I wanted a well-lit bright table cos I wanna read while I eat. There was a bright table that had service at both tables beside it, cos people were sitting there. But she said that one vacant table didn't have service. I refused to sit at the dark table and stood my ground, so she had to go and ask whoever, and then came back and said I could sit at the bright table I wanted. read more

My husband and I have been looking forward to eating here all week. We've been to this location many times and have never encountered an issue. However tonight was the worst experience we've ever had anywhere. To start off, my husband's ribeye came out well done, when he ordered it medium rare. He sent it back with our server. By the time his new steak came out, I had already finished eating. The manager, Sidney, brought out the second steak which was barely cooked. He cut into the steak and it was blue-red and obviously rare. The most disappointing part was the manager never offered to make it right in any way. She did not offer a complimentary dessert or anything to compensate for the bad experience. She dismissed his comment about it being rare and tried walked off. Before she could get away, he asked her to take it off the check, since he didn't eat one bite of it. She acted very reluctant but did. When our server returned with the updated check and a box for me, she didn't say anything to us at all. Not an apology, have a good evening, absolutely nothing...completely unacceptable . My family and I went to eat there last night. It was very packed but we joined the waitlist as we were driving. It said it would be 20-30 minute wait. We waited exactly 30 minutes which was great. Our waiters (one was in training) checked on us frequently and were attentive - the entire place was packed so I was pleasantly surprised with the service. My family all enjoyed their food. The only reason I cannot give a 5 star rating is that I've always been a huge fan of their ribs & they are not the same anymore. They had always been fall off the bone tender until this past year. The last 3 times I've eaten at TRH I have not been pleased with the ribs. Last night the overall flavor was great but they are a lot messier and harder to eat now. I've always viewed TRH as a very consistent restaurant but this new consistency is not for the better. read more

A friend I travel with for work always wants to go here and I've been reluctant due to the chain factor but man I was very pleasantly surprised. They make their own salad dressing - a big hit for me. I had a house salad, 6 oz filet and loaded baked potato. The salad was ice cold, delicious with a bit of egg and cheese mixed in, blue cheese dressing on point. Steak - they do mean rare cool center so I could've gone medium rare. Great flavor, good potato. If they're consistent as he tells me, a winning combination. A few places you can go to in any state and get the same product... it's also the only place I go that I order the same thing: the ribeye ( can't speak to the rest of the menu). . However I order my ribeye smothered with the sweet potatoes with the 'works' and the loaded mashed potatoes. And every time I walk out (or roll out) a happy stuffed customer. Portions are large and yields are least 2-3 leftover meals as well! Noisy but a vibrant environment. They do support our veterans and that is an additional plus. read more

If you have never been to a Texas Roadhouse, they are traditional American steakhouses. They have a pretty vast menu of steak, chicken, and seafood options at an exceptional price for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Is it a top tier steakhouse? No, but it is very good. I was at roadhouse by myself in tucson on irvington. I arrived about 3pm 11/23. There was no line i was not greeted so I went to the bar seating. I asked the server if I had to check in. She said yes. I went to the front where literaly 6 employees were gathered there and the seater meliana rudely said i could not sit in the bar seating. Again nobody was in line and there were multiple vacant booths. I said why not. She told me to talk to someone else and went outside. The next person said I could sit there but I had to wait for meliana the seater who went outside. Why is she outside? Obviously its over staffed with 6 employees standing around doing nothing.  I talked to mgr sydney richardson with my complaint. I saw her talk to meliana. So I ordered a steak medium rare. I received a very well done steak and showed the server and asked for the manager again. I showed richardson. I told the manager I was being retaliated against because I filed a complaint. Richardson said i was not being a victim of retaliation but she did no investigation. The least she could do is look at my order ticket and see if it had been changed.  I will not eat anything cooked here for fear of food tampering (e.g.spitting in my food). Please respond to my complaint about meliania and richardson as soon as possible. There is real problem of over staffing (which i could care less ) and treating customers rudely at this location read more

I used to love this place! My favorite steak. Center cut sirloin, medium rare. Mine came out gray and well done. They must have new cooks because they don't know how to cook a steak anymore. I never send food back and I did, then my sister in law did, and then noticed everyone around me was sending there back. The manager was rude to my mom for just trying to make it a pleasant send back by joking to break ice. It's always uncomfortable to send something back. She was a sarcastic, rude manager. What happened to Texas Roadhouse, man? It used to be one of my favorite restaurants to go to, but my latest experience wasn't great. The food was okay. My ribs were good, but didn't have much barbecue. Next, the corn they gave me tasted like the most canned and processed corn I have ever tasted. Our server was nice and pretty speedy in sitting us down and getting our drinks, but the same can't be said for our food. The food portions are pretty big though. We love Texas Roadhouse - the Irvington & I-19 location specifically. We always have a great experience here. The staff is wonderful. They always make sure the food is right when it's brought to the table. The manager will occasionally come by too. We enjoy coming here for date night every once in a while for celebrations or just because. We especially like that we can call ahead for seating and it makes our wait time shorter when we arrive. This place is always busy, which is always good for business. We miss the endless peanuts but we know that with Covid it makes sense. One thing new for me this time is I didn't know pets were allowed and this possibly was a working therapy pet that was sitting close to us - small in size and very well behaved in a travel bag. We love dogs so I loved seeing this. I wanted to be closer to it The music and the ambiance is great too if you haven't been and you like steak, it's a must! read more

We went to Texas Roadhouse for our 7th wedding anniversary. Sad to say our experience was less than enjoyable. We have had many good meals here, but sadly, not this time. My husband enjoyed his steak and potatoes. I was extremely disappointed in my filet mignon. Overcooked and dry. Our server saw a gift on the table and asked the occasion. I got my text at 14:54 to gather the party and head to the front. We were seated no later than 5 mins after that. This was a terrible experience that I had to document. We waited 40 minutes for cold food. My mom's burger was BURNT. My food was cold and the gravy to my potatoes was coagulated at the top. My sister tried for the first time, their Mac and cheese. It was COLD. It looked like there was a slice of cheese lightly microwaved over noodles. Disgusting. Her food was edible and although not hot, for the time waited, she didn't want to wait longer so she accepted it. I just asked to reheat my food. The manager knew all of this and simply said the kitchen was backed up. But to get cold food and a burnt burger? We got a $14 discount. Yay.
